7 Powerful Business Secrets for the Entrepreneur

Let's not waste time. We all just want to get into high
gear, fast. Tossing out all the fluff here are seven
nuggets about business for you to ponder. You may be
seeing them for the hundredth time or the first time, but
they're still just as powerful. Check off any you've
mastered and go right on to the next.
1. Do you know what business you're in? You do? Well,
actually, you don't. Actually, you're in the business
of marketing your business. You've got a great
product AND you've got great service. But do you have
great marketing? Great marketing is the key to a
great business. They need to be combined. Great
business and great marketing. No one can stop that
combination!
2. Let's talk about marketing. This is an absolutely
essential task that you shouldn't delegate. Many have
tried and failed. You're the only one who has the
passion, drive and ambition to do it right. Marketing
is challenging, but if you ignore it, you'll perish!
You need to become the expert on marketing your
business.
3. Everything needs to be balanced. Innovative and clever
beats spending loads of cash. But you need to take
care that your leading edge advantage doesn't suddenly
become your bleeding edge pain. The competition has
overlooked some niche; that's where the money is. But
don't wind up in left field!
4. Plaster your Unique Selling Proposition (USP) on every
wall so you can't miss seeing it all the time. That's
how important it is. It anchors your business and is
the cornerstone of your strategy when the times of
difficulty arrive. Are you unsure of your USP? That
uncertainty will certainly spawn a thousand future
problems.
5. Do You Have A Plan? It doesn't have to stay the same.
It'll change. Without a plan, how will you know if
you're on track or just wallowing in the mud? All
your business associates will respect you for having a
plan and knowing where you're headed.
6. Forget great alliances. You're working for yourself
because you want to be your own boss, but you're in a
very big fishbowl. You're going to need help in that
ocean. Find joint partnerships and alliances. Join
several mastermind groups, and find a mentor.
Actually, you could use two or three!
7. Your business is your ship. You're its captain. If
the ship is sailing YOU, all you've got is just a job.
Your business needs to complement your personality,
and your business environment must be extremely
comfortable for you to be in. If it's not, you'll
tend to be reactive rather than proactive. Your
creativity is what nourishes you. It's important that
your environment is supportive of this.
Count the number of check marks you made. This list is not
easy. But, of course, you were aware that your business
wouldn't be 100% sugarcoated when you started it. The
promise of wealth and freedom still makes it worth every
minute.

Distract Yourself from Stress
It's getting close to Easter and a four-day week isn't my
idea of a relaxing, calming, helpful time frame in a very
busy Internet business! So as I found myself faced with
many requests for Meniere's information, another batch
from other sources, I moved faster and faster…until I
caught myself making some silly mistakes.
So I stepped back and took a deep breath, did my
Power Pause exercise, and took stock of my workload.
Yes, it's too much for one person to deal with, but I
decided that anyone, who had taken the time and energy
to write, deserved a better response than I was giving in
such a hurry. (I didn't mention the non-Internet things,
which were also requiring my attention.)
My point? When I get to a stage where I need to break
my negative pattern, I am prepared with my Power Pause.
It helps me release the stress and deal with the problem
facing me. Everyone should be PREPARED with something
similar that distracts your attention, shifts the focus to
something more empowering, and spend a few minutes
or even seconds in a more relaxed and positive mood.
There are many things you could use, but the point is that
if you don't want to build up your blood pressure to
dangerous levels and frequencies, you NEED to distract
yourself. You need to have something ready, as you don't
know when you might need it. So find your quiet spot in
your imagination, feel yourself relaxing, and see yourself
in having achieved some wonderful goal! Enjoy the trip!

their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each

adventures and many places.

Sharon was becoming alarmed at what was happening.
This was a side to her Mother she had not seen
before. Harriet had clearly been shown the way she
was going was wrong, yet she was stubbornly
clinging to it in fear there would be nothing else
or that she could not become what Jesus said.
Sharon received some thoughts from Tim.
"That's okay honey. I've seen this before. In
spite of what they have been told they don't trust
the future. They don't think they can live by
higher law so they cling to the old like a
shipwrecked sailor clings to a life raft. We will
not break the spell here, today. Ease off a bit."
Sharon stopped mid word. She turned to smile at
Tim and appreciated his wisdom.
She walked to her Mother and put her arms
around her to hold her. "It will be all right Mom.
All will be well." Sharon broadcast such strong
love as to nearly upset her Mother. Sharon had not
yet practiced control of what she sent out. It was
nearly too much, physically, for her Mother. Yet
her Mother knew and understood she was loved,
accepted and that all will be well.
"Do you kids want a cup of coffee?"
"That would be terrific Mrs. Smithson" Tim
answered.
"Here, Mom, I'll help you." Sharon wisely
thought that participation with her Mother was the
best course of action right now. It proved to be
right.
They sat down at the kitchen table and sipped
their coffee. "Your Dad will be home in an hour.
He will be full of questions. He has been worried,
too. He might react in much the same way."
"I will talk to Daddy, Mom. It will be all
right. Are you becoming more comfortable with the
idea now?"
"I guess, Sharon. I just don't understand."
"That is the point Mom. It will take a little
while before you and Daddy see and understand what
this will mean in this family. Once you do you
will be proud of me and you will be quite happy I
made this decision. Now can I tell you where we
were and what happened?"
"Oh, yes dear. I'm sorry for being such a
worry wart."
"Mom, I had the most wonderful time. I went
over to visit Tim at his place. We talked for a
long time about what happened at church that night
and about what I was doing. Tim explained how I
was thinking and showed me how I could change to
live by higher law. He did not push me Mom. He did
not use any force or tricks. I looked at what he
was saying and I knew I did not want to live the
way I see people living, here in Pinehill. I
decided I wanted to live by higher law and I
decided I wanted to do that bad enough that I
would not do anything else. Suddenly, Mom, I knew.
It all came to me and I knew. Tim knew too. He
could see. He came to me and kissed me and held
me. We nearly got into trouble then and there but
we didn't. Tim asked me if I would like to go
visit his sister, Eloise, in South America. His
folks were there already visiting. I said I would.
Mom I had the most wonderful time. The people in
that village are wonderful people, so full of love
and caring."
"How do you mean you went to South America?
You can't do that. You can't just say you're going
to South America and then be there?"
"Yes, Mom, you can. And we did. That is where
I have been this last while. That is where I slept
last night. That is where I ate yesterday and
today. Yes, Mom, I can say I will go to South
America and then be there. You said you were
surprised when Tim and I appeared in the kitchen.
It frightened you some. Did you hear any door open
or close? Did you see or hear us walking up the
hall and into the kitchen? We just appeared, Mom,
direct from the village in South America. That is
how it happened. You'll have to get used to that
idea Mom. That's just the way it is."
"But...but no one can do that."
"Yes, Mrs. Smithson, we can. When you live by
higher law you are able to travel that way. Sharon
will have to travel that way often, for she will
be asked to help out in some human conditions
somewhere, anywhere in earth. It is really no big
deal. If you would like Sharon and I can show you.
It is really simple."
"N...n...no, Tim, thats okay. I will think on
it a bit."
"The people of the village hold a fire every
night. They find it helps keep the community
spirit alive and well. But occasionally they hold
special ceremonies and they have one for young
lovers. They held that special fire for Tim and I.
Mom it was wonderful. It took Tim and I beyond the
physical feelings we were having and showed us how
love is spiritual and how we are now soul mates
for the rest of forever. It was beautiful Mom, you
should have been there. You would like the village
Mom. The people there are beautiful people."

TODAY'S REPORT:
It was a fascinating day yesterday. I went to the recording
studio and we began to record several
of my articles. The idea is to record them in
such a way they can be used by radio stations.
There is a lot to this recording stuff. I'm glad
it was a friend who helped me. He is a professional
and it showed. I think we ended up with ideas, but
it is clear I must practice, practice, practice.

A Jewish family invited their gentile neighbors for holiday
dinner. The first course was set in front of them and the Jewish
couple announced, "This is matzoh ball soup."
On seeing the 2 large matzoh balls in the soup, the Gentile man
was hesitant to taste this strange looking brew. Gently, the
Jewish couple pressed the Gentile man, "Just have a taste. If you
don't like it, you don't have to finish it."
Finally he agrees. He digs his spoon in, first picking up a small
piece of matzoh ball with some soup in the spoon, and tasting it
gingerly. The usual mmmm sound can be heard coming from
somewhere deep in his chest, and he quickly finished the soup.
"That was delicious," he said. "Can you eat any other parts of
the matzoh?"
