strips on your credit cards.
Was Einstein's brain removed from his body after death?
Einstein's body was cremated after his death in 1955, but his
brain was preserved for scientific study. The doctor who
conducted the autopsy on Einstein kept the brain in two mason
jars in his house in Kansas until a reporter tracked him down
in 1978. After that, scientists DID actually study the brain of
one of the world's smartest individuals to see if it was different
than an ordinary human brain.

Putting Yourself First
A bus carrying only ugly people crashes into an oncoming
truck and everyone inside dies. When they get to meet
their maker, because of the grief they have experienced,
He decides to grant them one wish each before they
enter Heaven.
They're all lined up, and God asks the first one what
their wish is. "I want to be gorgeous." So God snaps His
fingers, and it is done. The second one in line hears this
and says, "I want to be gorgeous too." Another snap of
His fingers and the wish is granted.
This goes on for a while with each one asking to be
gorgeous but when God is halfway down the line, the last
guy in the line starts laughing. When there are only ten
people left, this guy is rolling on the floor, laughing
his head off.
Finally, God reaches this last guy and asks him what his
wish will be. The guy eventually calms down and says:
"Make 'em all ugly again."
So, the next time you are last in line...smile!
What a lesson. It has long been established that he/she who
places themselves first shall come last and they that place
themselves last shall come first.
That is one of the most difficult lessons to learn. All humanity
has a hard time with that one. Yet that is a spiritual law and
as such applies to all, animate or inanimate, in earth or in
the universe. It is another one like "As ye sow, so shall ye
reap..."
The reason it is hard to learn is that one's ego gets in the way.
One's self image allows one to think they are more important
than they really are. It happens to all of us. I know. I've been
there.
It isn't until we learn to care for others more than we care for
ourselves that we really begin to grow. Those who pursue
dreams that do not include the welfare of others are on a
wrong path. Oh, you might say you want to earn a lot of
money, for the family. Think long and hard. I'm willing to
bet your ego has a lot more to do with it than your family.
So, too, will you find that the things you really want seem to
elude you. Take a look to see if there are things around you
can do for others. Inspect deep inside to see if you are being
told that service to others is an area in your life where you
are lacking in application. Don't forget I'm not talking of
mechanically doing something for someone in hopes it looks
like service to others. It is not man you must satisfy on this
subject. It is the face that looks back at you in the mirror.
Make it genuine and marvelous things begin to happen.
Troubles can come when you are ....

Who’s In Charge Here? Thinking About Our
Body’s Healthy Maintenance
PART 3 of 10
These are about maintaining a healthy body with you.
Please don’t use this information to treat or diagnose
yourself. Use it to understand your body. As always,
just learn from it and pay close attention to when you
don’t feel well.
First I want to give you some understanding of your
body…some principles it works under automatically. You
can’t change it no matter what you may think, but .
once you understand those, you will feel more “in tune”
with what is going on. It’s like the law of
gravity…it’s very real, and you can’t do anything to
circumvent it. And you can’t plead ignorance…it still
works as always (unless you work in the space
industry.)
A drug or other chemical can change or reduce the
effectiveness of your body, as in steroids or
antihistamines. Anytime you increase heat in your body,
(circulation) you increase the internal pressure. (Law
of physics). Your body has an automatic cleaning
system attached to the immune system (one of its
“departments”) and it cleans things constantly. This is
called the inflammatory process. For example, if you
stub your toe, it swells up and it is painful, plus it
changes colour…eventually it goes away. But you don’t
think you have a disease in your toe, right? …not a
disease.And the inflammatory process is activated
anytime anything unwanted comes into your body.
Anything unwanted could be a smell, chemical,
irritation such as in the eye, over-stimulation
(getting too tired)…a cut or trauma or bruises will do
the same. It could be anything that you aren’t born
with, but comes through the environment. All drugs have
some sort of side effects. The only way your body can
create energy and thus activities is with nutrients.
The body is known to be able to heal itself given the
right elements.

stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,

anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts
The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many
adventures and many places.

"I might do some" Sharon said, "but I think I
will just fix up the bedroom and get ready for
school tomorrow. Thanks to you I have missed two
days this week. So maybe, Mr. Henry, you should
get out of here and let a girl get on with things
that have to be done. I'll call you later tonight
and we will talk."
"Sounds good to me. I'll see you later." He
walked to her side of the table and gave her a
long lingering kiss that told her again he was in
love with her. Then he disappeared.
Tim reappeared at his house. He was in the
kitchen when the doorbell rang. He knew instantly
who it was.
Answering the door he let Bob Smithson into
the house. "Where is Sharon?" Bob was trying to be
polite but the undertone allowed Tim to know he
was still seething under the surface.
"Mr. Smithson, can you and I have a talk over
a cup of coffee. I'll tell you where Sharon is, in
fact I'll take you there, but it would be good if
you and I can talk a bit first. Would that be
okay?" Tim was calm and steady as a rock. He was
confident and he was broadcasting love unto Bob
Smithson.
The whole effect caused Bob to say, "Yes."
"Good, come." Tim led Bob into the kitchen and
poured him a coffee. Tim had another. He was
beginning to think he was getting coffeed out
tonight, that he should keep things cool.
"What do you want to talk to me about, Tim?"
"Well, Mr. Smithson, this is difficult for me.
I don't want to interfere in your family business.
I wanted you to know that Sharon and I have fallen
in love and that we will undoubtedly get married
in the future. She has yet to finish school and
all those things so I'm not talking about next
month. She came over here to talk with me about
what happened in church that night and she was
frustrated that she couldn't seem to get past a
certain point with her learning higher law. I
showed her the way. She made the decision and now
she has made up her mind that is the way she is
going to live, just as we do. I think that is
good, Mr. Smithson. Yet I realize you don't know
all that much about higher law and you might have
some questions. Can we talk about that for a bit?
It might help you understand her thinking."
"Tim, you know I'm upset. I am not sure if I
am upset at you or not or if I should be upset at
you. Harriet tells me you two are in love and that
you have not yet had sex and indeed you are trying
to avoid that situation. I appreciate that and
accept that. So that aspect of my concerns are no
more. I believe you. Now, about this higher law
stuff. I don't understand it. I think Sharon lied
to me telling me she was down in South America.
People can't do that, Tim. That just isn't
possible. So please tell me what happened."
"Mr. Smithson. I am not going to tell you she
lied or that she didn't lie. The problem does not
lie in what she said. It lies with your belief in
what she said. I also cannot sit here and tell you
the same thing she told you or you will think I am
lying. It really puts us into a quandary doesn't
it?"
"That it does. What do you propose to do to
answer it?"
"Well, let me ask you this. If I said I could
take you to South America to visit my sister, and
that my folks were there, you would think I'm
crazy, right?"
"Right."
"But if I insisted and asked you to come with
me, would you at least give me a chance to prove
you right, to show you I can't do it?"
"I suppose that's fair. What do I have to do?"
Tim rose and walked over to Bob's side of the
table. "Just stand up and take my hand.
Bob rose and no sooner had he touched Tim's
hand but they were in South America. "What's going
on. Is this a dream. Where are we?"
"Mr. Smithson, this is where Sharon and I
spent the last two days. My folks are here
visiting my sister. Come I will take you over
there."
"Tim, this can't be so. I must be dreaming."
"No, Bob, you aren't dreaming. Pinch yourself.
Do you hurt. Take a deep breath, do you get air
that smells and tastes like that back home. Look
at the trees, hear the birds, the animals, the
village. Look at the huts, is that a dream? You
are not dreaming Bob. You and I just traveled here
by using higher law."
"I don't believe it, Tim. This is crazy."
"I know that is what you think but let be
first ask you, are you comfortable, that is to say
you have no pains of stomach upsets, you're
comfortable?"
"Yes."
