Effort First Rewards Second!

So many people are always looking for that 'quick fix' the
scheme that will make them rich for no other reason than
they want it! Interesting but is it realistic? I personally
spent many hours and many more $$ looking for such a
thing, until I eventually realised that life's not like that.
Life rewards us based on what we 'put in', not what we
wish to 'take out' . You must first become the person who
deserves to earn more, you must first become successful
in your mind, before success hunts you down.
Lack of opportunity is never the issue, lack of belief is!
If we believe that only luck will make us wealthy, then your
personal belief system is failing you. If you believe that
you lack the skills to be successful, then you will never
allow yourself the opportunity to learn those skills. If you
believe that you can earn a full time income with a part
time attitude you may be setting yourself up for
disappointment.
Only you will change your life, it’s not dependant on your
surrounding, upbringing, education and the like. It
depends only on you. Value yourself and bring value
to the market place and wealth will follow you. Poverty
thinking breeds poverty.
Change your life today and “live until you die”- take
charge of your own future!

The body is also divided from top to bottom: head to foot. So
you have "left" and "right" halves, but if you see yourself in a
mirror, remember your are FACING yourself. So the side directly
across from you will be your opposite side. (That's why you
sometimes see people putting out their hands when they are
trying to determine a location.. left or right, and your job is
to confirm the correct position.) The body is also "divided
horizontally" into upper and lower halves. These positions are
called "superior" and "inferior".
(Using terminology)
With a good foundation of medical terminology, it's easy to pin
point the problem! You can describe the calluses on the middle
phalanx 4th digit (L) foot. A medical professional would know
immediately be able to spot the offending toe. Fingers or digits
are identified or counted from the thumb (1) to the little
finger (5). If someone said you had a problem with your left,
fourth medial metacarpal, it means you had a problem with the
middle bone of your (left) ring finger. The "ring finger is not
a true medical term and can be a problem as in some countries,
the accepted "ring" finger is on the right hand. One interesting
note here: if you had this kind of injury, chances are someone
would cut off the ring. Leaving it in place could possibly block
the blood flow.
A hint to use if you are given a note that mentions metacarpals
or metatarsals. My trick to remembering them when I first started
in health care. Carpal seems closer to driving a car (hands).
Tarsal had a "t" and that would mean toes. (Easy? With these
confusing terms, I had to find lots of ways to remember all
this!)

and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts
The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many
adventures and many places.

"Hi, you guys!" Ben and Helen Striker had
appeared at the hut of Eloise and Mazunta. No one
was home, so they walked through the village
toward the beach and the river.
Many times they stopped and talked with those
they passed. They had been here enough times that
they knew everyone in the village, so even if they
didn't find the Henrys they still would have been
made welcome.
Coming up the slight rise just before the
jungle turned to sandy beach, they yet remained in
shade. The stopped to look at the sight. It was
spectacular, as always. It seemed fresh every time
they saw it. While the seasons were not so
pronounced, in terms of hot and cold, there were
still seasons and the foliage changed like with
seasons everywhere.
Continuing on their way they saw the Henrys
sitting high on the beach watching the kids
playing their game of ball. Ben and Helen had
walked over to them and said their greeting.
"Hi Ben! Helen! What brings you guys down
here?" Sam was the first to speak.
"Oh! We thought it was time for a trip and as
this is our favorite spot. We thought we would
stop in. We didn't know you folks were down here.
"Hi Eloise. How are you doing?"
"I'm terrific Mr. Striker. Hello Mrs. Striker.
How are you folks today. Its good to see you.
Welcome."
"What a beautiful day. This has to be paradise
in earth!"
"We were just thinking the same thing Ben.
It's hard to beat isn't it?"
"So how long have you two been down here?"
"Oh! About two weeks. We just sit here and
everybody from Pinehill keeps dropping in. Its
like old home week here, everyday."
"Who else has been around?"
"I'm just kidding. Tim and Sharon were down
here for a bit, then Tim brought Sharon's Dad, Bob
down for a visit. Sharon and Tim are an item.
Sharon has decided to live by higher law and that
has caused a bit of consternation in Bob and
Harriet. They will learn to accept it but at the
beginning it is hard for them. That is why Tim
brought Bob down here, just to show him a few
things."
"Sam, I am continually amazed at the beauty of
living by higher law. There is never any pressure
on anyone. Things happen just as they should and
in their time. My health is far better. Helen and
I are much, much happier, both as individuals and
together. I never knew life could be this great."
"When men learn to live as their Maker
intends, Ben, that is how it should be. All men
can have what you have. They need only look and
decide."
"Yes, I know. I was thinking of young Billy
Hendricks the other day. I am so glad he met up
with your boys. He was one headed down the wrong
path, for sure. Now look at him. He's a wonder.
How are Tim and Sharon making out?"
"They're just fine Ben. For her parent's sake
Sharon has decided to complete school. She has
only a month, or just over, left to go."
"Thats good. I can see where she will have to
work with her folks for a while until they come to
accept who she is. Thats okay. It'll work out."
"I think so Ben. She's a nice girl. She and
Tim have things worked out all right. They'll do
just fine."
"I know" said Ben, "Tim is a Henry and acts
like one. You should be proud of him Sam."
"I am, but pride is of man. I turned all
my kids loose a long time ago. They are all doing
well and each holds a great deal of respect for
their Mother and me. Its a pleasure for Alewka and
I to be around them. They're a joy."
"Where's Maz?"
"He's away on a trading trip. The villagers do
that about twice a year and this is their spring
trip. They had a lot of goods to take to town this
time. They just left a couple days ago. They'll be
gone for a couple weeks. Tinkerbell doesn't like
him to be away. She misses him."
"Isn't that the way with all of us? That's why
I'm so glad Helen had the opportunity to decide to
live by higher law. I know all have the
opportunity, but what I mean is I'm glad we did
this together."
"It sure is nice, isn't it."
"Eloise, how are the kids." Helen had been
pretty quiet up to now.
"They're fine, Helen. They're here on the
beach. Theres AliAnn, there, playing ball on the
beach, and theres Sammy over there with the
smaller ones."
"Oh, my, already they are getting big. It's
about time for another isn't it?" Helen was
smiling at Eloise. She had that little twinkle in
her eye that only women have when they are talking
women stuff.
