What ingredient once made women's cosmetics deadly?
Lead. For centuries, all the way into the nineteenth
century, the pale I-never-see-the-sun look was in vogue
and women used a whitening agent for the face that
contained lead oxide, along with carbonate and hydroxide.
Long-term use of these agents could lead to muscle
paralysis and even death. Lead was also used in eye
shadow. Other deadly agents, like belladonna (deadly
nightshade), were used to make eyes sparkle.
How does sunscreen protect your skin?
Most sunscreens have ingredients that absorb the energy
in ultraviolet rays and emit it back as lower-frequency
heat waves. The SPF number determines how much
protection you get. The higher the SPF, the more
ultraviolet rays the sunscreen is capable of absorbing

Single Mindedness Of Purpose!

While walking through a parking lot, I tripped and fell flat
on my face. As I was lying there, a woman stopped her
car and called out, "Are you hurt?"
"No, I'm fine," I said, touched by her concern.
"Oh, good," she continued. "So will you be vacating
your parking space now?"
"Gee! Thanks lady!", is my immediate reaction. But it
shows this lady is going to get done what she started
out to do. She is single minded in her purpose and is
not going to let much get in the way.
That is actually the way to get things done, although
there are some times and places where we need not
be as obvious about it as the lady in the joke.
Keep in mind that the best way, indeed the only way
for some, to reach a big objective, is to keep it in
mind to the exclusion of all else. Focusing on that
objective and never giving up will cause it to come
into reality. No other manner is given to man. That is
the only way.
So how do you reconcile that single mindedness of
purpose with your other chores, tasks and duties,
such as those at home?
Separate your day into "time capsules" within which
is the task for the capsule. Concentrate on that capsule,
while there, until that task is complete, then move to the
next capsule. Do not carry over events from one
capsule to another. Keep them clean and separate.
That way you will be able to enjoy the events of each
capsule.
Doing this will contribute much to your health,
happiness, prosperity and your day.
Remember to enjoy all things in each capsule. If I am
correct it is likely your major objective will occupy the
largest capsule of the day. That's good. That is to say
it is good if you are concentrating on reaching your
objective all during that particular capsule. If you use
it for play and other things then you need an attitude
adjustment regarding single mindedness of purpose.
Thus man progresses. Without single mindedness of
purpose he is floating through each day subject,
entirely, to the whims of others. Developing single
mindedness of purpose the route to happiness and
prosperity. There is no other.

When you need to copy text from IE into a word processor,
you simply select the text and press Ctrl + C. Next, you
move to the word processor and press Ctrl + V to paste the
text.
If your word processor recognizes all the web formatting
(as MS Word does), you can paste with the formatting
intact. If you want to lose the formatting, you can paste
first into Notepad and then copy the Notepad contents and
paste that into the word processor.

You should plan PAST the immediate situation.past the negative
health conditions, TO the desired outcome. The rest as Dr.
Waitley states, is a matter of dealing with the situation at
hand: the difficult problem: the stressful period. You have
already faced those kind of problems many times in your life.
you can do it again. They may not have had those scary names
attached to a particular situation, but you have been
inconvenienced many times before and emerged victorious. I urge
you to find the courage to overcome this (or any other kind of)
difficulty again. You will be so amazed as to what you find
inside of you.
As you face your challenge, (not running from it or denying its
existence) you can create your own environment, surrounding
yourself with people who want to share your goals and your
desire to restore your wellbeing. It will mean change. Maybe
different foods, a new or different exercise program, or it may
mean the elimination of something that has been part of your
life. If it's to change a habit, surround yourself with people
who will support you.
You know what I mean. If you want to stop drinking, you want to
avoid hanging out at the local pub. If you wish to stop smoking,
avoid the employee smoking pit. (You can catch up on the gossip
later.) If you want to cut your fat intake, avoid your friendly
fast food drive through window. You might also want to shut off
the TV for a little while and check up on the neighborhood with
a quick walk.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

"Riata! Can we go back to that bit about talking to oneself
in the mind. If I don't talk then how can I communicate with
my Maker within me?" asked Sandra.
Riata was about to speak when she became aware of an
image materializing nearby. It was Sadhu, Sandra's friend.
"Hello Sadhu! What are you doing here?" asked Sandra.
"I just thought about you and the querying you have
been doing lately, and thought I would come to see if
you had any more questions. I see you do. That's good.
Hello Riata. I'm glad to finally meet you. Sandra has
spoken of you often." said Sadhu.
"And you Sadhu. She says you have taught her lots."
remarked Riata, "I'm glad."
"To answer your question, Sandra, you don't talk. You
use thoughts, you 'see', you 'know', you have thoughts
on the subject and your Maker will usually answer before
you can fully complete your thought. Practice and you
will see. It renders you much more powerful." said Riata.
"I have experienced some of that. I guess I allowed myself
to become somewhat sidetracked in the store. I know
better, but the pull of old habits is strong." said Sandra.
"You're right. Often a complete change of environment for
a while is a big help. You will enjoy the wedding for that
reason. Not only will it be a change of scene for a while,
you will be in the company of many who live by higher
law." Riata knew this would be good for Sandra.
"You are going to a wedding?" asked Sadhu.
"Yes, Riata's sister Oomano is getting married in less than
a month and I have been invited." answered Sandra.
"That's good. If there are others there who live by higher
law you will learn much. Indeed, you will be able to
complete your learning there. I sense this is a good thing
for you." said Sadhu.
"I think I shall leave you girls. I did not mean to interrupt
your 'bonding'." he said with a gleam in his eye.
"Oh! Go on silly. Stop teasing us."
With that Sadhu left and the girls were again alone. They
continued their walk in the mountains. They were on a
grassy area, void of trees, that permitted them a panorama
of the mountain scenery. It was beautiful.
"It is in places like these, when alone, one can truly
advance their relationship with their Maker, Sandra. It is
good you live so close you can come here when you want.
Of course now you can go anywhere you want in an instant,
but before you learned to live by higher law this was a fine
and close place for you to come." Riata observed.
"I used to come up here often. I enjoy it here. It helps me
find peace within my soul. When you arrived and showed
me the way it seemed just a natural thing. If that had
happened while down in my store, it would not seem so
natural." replied Sandra.
They spent the rest of the day together, enjoying each
others company, talking and generally sharing the things
they had in common. Sandra was becoming stronger as
they spoke and exchanged ideas. She was visibly
changing into the strong woman of higher law she was
to be. It is true the wedding would be a good experience
for her.
"Would you like to go meet Sonora now? asked Riata,
"I haven't seen her for a while and it would be a good
experience for you. It would be like traveling to my place
like you did before. Let's go." said Riata.
"That's okay. I'd like that." said Sandra.
Riata took her hand and in the instant they were standing
in front of Sonora's cook fire. It was that early in the
morning that only Kenyata was up. She had just lit the
fire and was beginning to prepare breakfast.
"Hi Kenyata! How are you today?" asked Riata.
"Oh! Hello Riata. My aren't you early today. How are you
doing. I see you brought a guest." said Kenyata.
"Kenyata, this is Sandra Geddes. She lives in Australia.
She and I were talking while walking up in her mountains
they have over there and we thought we would come for
a visit. Everybody still sleeping?" asked Riata.
"Yes. They'll be up in a while. Hello Sandra. It is good to
meet you. Please sit and I'll pour us something to
drink." said Kenyata.
