Be Nice! It Can Be Fun!

Returning from a trip to visit my grandmother in Canada, I
was stopped by a state trooper in New York for exceeding
the speed limit. Grateful to have received a warning
instead of a ticket, I gave him a small bag of my
grandmother's delicious chocolate chip cookies and
proceeded on my way.
Later, I was stopped by another trooper. "What have I
done?" I asked.
"Nothing," the trooper said, smiling. "I heard you were
passing out great chocolate chip cookies."
Wow! I suppose it would be awful to say one should
travel with donuts, so that if you were pulled over you
might have a coffee break.
But this cute little story actually makes a good point.
Being nice really is the best way to go and, as the story
suggests, it can be fun.
It goes back to that old saying be nice all the time, it
makes people wonder what you're up to.
Ah! But the law knows. You all know the law I speak of.
Everyday I am conscious of the law "As ye sow, so shall
ye reap." Being nice will only bring the best of fruits to
you. Being anything else will bring anything else, that's
the law.
You might think I am advocating the "Golden Rule".
Sure I am, but not for the sake of you looking good in
public. I am advocating you follow the law so you will
receive only the best life has to offer. The law will not
fail you - ever. Use it to your benefit or to your
detriment - it is always at work.
That's why I suggest you "be nice". It is so much more
fun. It makes life a joy and it brings back to you things
like prosperity, happiness, and nice things.
I am not speaking here of any religious theme. I am
speaking of dead on practical application of a law that
governs our universe. Nothing is exempt from the law.
ALL functions according to its dictates. And it can be
boiled down real simple - - - be nice, get nice - be
bad, get bad.
The majority of people in this world overlook this law
because it is too simple. In our day to day complicated
lives surely nothing so simple can be so powerful.
Guess again. learn to follow the simple, to your
abundance.

Clipboard
The Windows clipboard is something you'll never see. It's
a term given to a memory location. A place to store temporary
information. A place to cut to and
paste from.
In fact, the only way to get information to and from the
clipboard is to cut or copy and paste.
Since the clipboard is just a memory location (stored in RAM,
or Random Access Memory), it can handle any type of data
you can throw at it: text, graphics, even entire files and
sounds.
Before you can send anything to the clipboard, you have to
highlight it (also called selecting). Once the item
is selected, you have to copy it. The act of copying places
the item (or object) in memory. What is this memory location?
It's the clipboard!
Once it's there, you can open another application or program
and paste the item. A copy is still on the clipboard, ready to
paste again. In fact, it stays there until it's replaced with
some new item.
So, you could copy this text, and paste it into lots of
different documents.
To avoid losing your data from the clipboard, be sure you
paste it as soon as possible. You might accidentally replace
it with something else. In other words, each time you cut or
copy a selection, the application (program) overwrites the
current contents of the clipboard. To avoid losing your data,
perform the paste operation as soon as you can.
You can even send screen shots to the clipboard. This is really
cool. To capture the active window, just press Alt and the
Print Screen key.
Of course you won't see anything happen, but when you open
your graphics program, and press Ctrl and the V key, you'll
paste the captured screen.

Who Controls You?
You Or Your Stress: MAKE It Your Decision
PART 3 of 4
It's interesting to see what happens when people realize
that you have values to guide you. First they want to get
you to change your mind. When they realize that you won't,
they usually leave you alone. Once people discover that
you stand up for yourself: that you are your own person,
they begin to respect you. Still later, you may realize
that you have become a role model. Your influence then
rests in the fact you are aware of this, but don't openly
acknowledge it. Your behavior now portrays leadership
and strength, and invites trust.
One of the reasons people get trained in emergency
measures is that once you are proficient in something,
you will do it effectively when the situation arises. It's the
same here. Once you have incorporated your values into
your life skills, you won't need any prodding to make a
decision that fits your belief system: it's automatic.
There are two values or characteristics, that might be
highlighted, and they may well be related. One is the
area of taking responsibility for all of your own actions,
BUT for no one else. The other is the concept of not
criticizing anyone. The benefits of practicing each are
enormous! When you adopt this posture, you find
tremendous relief. Assume that everyone is always
doing their best…and that might not be perfect for the
need, but it IS their best.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

"That is right. It is their Maker within each of them who
brings about the condition they see in their minds. They
attach that condition to this shrine and they believe they
will be whole again if they can only touch the place where
the 'holy woman' was shot." said Sien, "It is good to have
such a place for people for at least it serves them, but
you can never begin to preach or turn this into a church.
It must remain to the people. Some will see. The sad truth
is they could as well become whole at home if they
would only believe what the masters have told
them for years."
'We have been receiving a great deal of money from the
people. We don't want or need it, but they feel it necessary
to give, so we accept it. Every day we go to the bank and
make a deposit. It is getting to be a problem. It is the main
source of any of the difficulties we have had. First the
church wanted it, then the city wanted it, and every thief in
the country has been here trying to get it." said the child.
"Why don't you give it away to the many, many places
that look after children that are not church run. There are
hundreds of people in this land and others who suffer
poverty, yet they take in lost and orphaned children so
the children might live. Help them out. In fact, as each of
you becomes a master, why don't you go forth and begin
to look after orphans yourselves, as Riata did for
you?" asked Sien.
This was not a new idea to the kids at the orphanage.
They were all committed to working toward living by higher
law. The example Riata set for them was permanent and
deep. That Reno and Amenti had accomplished meant
everyone else could do it too. Many were on the brink of
successfully crossing over into higher law.
The kids at the orphanage, having the orphanage to protect
and defend, plus the people to service at the shrine, all
had a purpose. It took them off the streets and gave them
a meaningful life, where they served others, and at the
same time learned the rules of living by higher law. They
all liked that, and would not think of leaving. Each was
contributing, none were lazy. This project was theirs.
They knew it.
The "buzz" around the orphanage this day was of
Romano's and Oomano's wedding. All the kids had been
over to the house and had a ball. Each was waiting their
turn to go back. This was the first time they had been away
from the orphanage. That they were among adults, whom
they admired, and were treated as if they were adults,
meant they were accepted. Not one of them missed the
subtle feeling of being an adult and accepted as such.
To top that off there were many people here from different
lands, accomplished masters all. The love that was
broadcast at the family home was so strong none wanted
to miss out on being there. Duty alone would bring them
back here.
As the time the large group from the house was at the
orphanage Maria Sanchez came over to visit Reno,
not knowing of the wedding going on.
Reno went over to meet her. They hugged.
"What's going on? Who are all these people? I recognize
some of them but not all." Maria said, pointing to the ones
she knew, "This is a pretty high powered group."
Reno laughed. "Yes! It is Maria. Many in this group live by
higher law. They are all friends of Riata's, Romano's and
Oomano's. They are here for their wedding.
"Oh! My goodness. I completely forgot about their wedding.
I had no idea it was today." said Maria.
"It isn't Maria. It is tomorrow. Since their guest list included
many from all over the world they began to gather early
so each could get used to the time changes and be
adjusted by the time the wedding was held. They have
visitors from Africa, Australia, United States, and Eloise
and Mazunta from up river, along with some of their friends.
There are a lot of people at the house when everyone is
there." answered Reno.
"I'd better leave and let you get on with your day. Things
look busy." said Maria, leaning over to give Reno a kiss on
the cheek.
Riata had been observing what was going on with Reno
and Maria, and knew Maria's thoughts. She left the group
to come over and meet with her.
"Hello Maria. It is nice to see you. I gather we took you by
surprise." said Riata.
Maria gave a small curtsy, out of respect. "I forgot about
Romano's and Oomano's wedding. It never occurred to me
you would be busy with that today. I didn't mean to interrupt.
I was just on my way." answered Maria.
