TODAY'S TRIVIA - - -

What invention was Edison working on at the time of
his death?

How did Elias Howe come up with his idea for perfecting
the sewing machine?

--------------
ANSWERS TO YESTERDAY'S TRIVIA - - - -
--------------

When did people first begin drinking tea?

Tea has been around a long time! The Chinese were
drinking it as far back as 2700 BC.

What did Thomas Edison invent?

Well, we already know how he improved upon electric lights.
But how many know of these Edison inventions: the phonograph,
the motion picture camera, the mimeograph machine, the electric
vote recorder, the dictating machine, and wax paper! (There are,
of course, many, many others.)

From The Center For Media Research

Mobile Phones Are For More Than Phoning

In its inaugural Benchmark Report, M:Metrics reveals
that the market for mobile content and applications,
while still young, includes the mainstream of mobile
subscribers and spans gender and age groups. 58 percent
of mobile subscribers use their handsets for something
other than making phone calls.

Results from this primary research include additional
demographic information:

• 31 percent of female subscribers and 34 percent of
male subscribers report having played a mobile game in
the previous month. Men are 60 percent more likely to
download a game than women. Seamus McAteer, M:Metrics
co-founder and chief product architect, said "…Too many
of the titles available for sale are action/adventure
and sports games-- genres that our data demonstrate are
more likely to appeal to men."
• The majority of ringtones were downloaded by
subscribers age 13-24, and more than 62 percent of
those consumers downloaded more than one ringtone in
the previous month.
• 52 percent of subscribers age 25-34 sent or
received text messages in the previous month, while 37
percent of those age 35-44 communicated via text. 68
percent of those age 18-24 sent and received text
messages.
• More than 60 percent of subscribers who took a
picture with their camera phone also sent a photo
message to another phone or email address in the
previous month. The overall penetration of photo
messaging is 7 percent.
• 13 percent of mobile subscribers reported accessing
news and information via a mobile browser in the
previous month. Marked gender difference characterized
mobile browsing with 17 percent of men subscribers and
9 percent of women subscribers using their mobile
phones.
• 57 percent of all browsers sought weather
information; 41 percent accessed maps and directions,
44 percent sports scores, sports news and national
news, and 40 percent movie and entertainment listings.

Your Immune System: How It Serves You
And Why You Need To Keep It Healthy
PART 4 of 4

The only way to counter this negative effect is to load
your body with excellent nutrition, especially
anti-oxidants. And in this day of pollution, pesticides,
fertilizers, preservatives, etc., this is very difficult to do.
These are all chemicals coming into your body in
different ways. Hence the need for "nutritional"
supplementation. And as you probably (like me)
won't know how to create this complete, balanced
set of nutrients, find yourself someone who does.
Know that Recommended Daily Allowances RDA's
are the minimum requirements. For a healthy and
empowering lifestyle, you need far more than that:
you need "optimum" nutrition.

When it comes to your well being, there are no
guarantees. However, the daily decisions you make
may have a tremendous effect on the outcome of
your overall health. The better your nutritional status,
the better all systems, including your immune system
will be. Commit today to taking the necessary steps
towards giving your body the best possible defenses
against disease.

Health is not just the absence of disease: it is the
empowering of your body to perform at its optimal level.

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

<><><><>

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby

--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts

The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many
adventures and many places.
As you read enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

----------------------------------------

"Eloise! You must be kidding. You haven't
touched a penny? I don't believe you. That's an
incredible amount of money. Most people would do
anything to have that much money. What do you mean
you will give it away? You're crazy!" Mary was
incredulous. She could not believe her ears.

"Mary, if I am able to manifest all that I
need, if I can control the climate around me, if I
can create safety for me and my family that is far
beyond any safety any man can offer, if I can have
any clothing I want, food I want, shelter I want
anytime I want, what need of money do I have?"

"Well yes, but look what you can do with that
money. You can buy yourself a house and furnish it
the way you want and still have money left over to
give away."

"Why would I want to do that, Mary?"

"To have a place to live the rest of your life
if you wanted. There is so much you can do with
money like that. You have no struggle. It is all
yours, handed to you on a plate."

"I ask the same question, Mary. Why would I
want to do that when I can have all I want. I can
dine with royalty and presidents or paupers. I can
have any kind of a house I want anywhere, without
needing one penny to do so. Why would I want that
money. To me it is a problem, a bondage. I don't
want it. I will give it to charitable institutions
who can use it in man's world."

"Eloise that is ridiculous. Nobody gives away
that kind of money. No one gives away all that
they have, that's stupid."

"Mary, why do I need that money? Is it to be
secure? Is it to help others? Is it to look after
me in my old age? Is it so I can buy fancy houses
and fancy cars and take exotic trips just so I can
show off to my friends? Am I to be like the rest
of the sheep in the fold or sea gulls in the
garbage dump? Why do I need that money, Mary?"

"For all those things, Eloise. Everybody needs
or wants those things, or to do those things. You
just can't live without money."

"Mary," Eloise spoke calmly and with purpose,
"you did not hear me, or at least did not listen.
I just told you I can have anything I want, do
anything I want, go anywhere I want, all without
requiring a penny. Why would I want that money?"

"Eloise this is stupid. No one can live
without money."

"Only those who live by higher law, Mary. That
is what we have been speaking about this evening.
What did you think we were speaking of?"

Before this got any deeper Brock stepped in.
He was afraid Mary was going to continue revealing
her ignorance to a point where it resulted in bad
feelings. At least, to him, that is the way things
seemed to be heading. "Mary, when Billy Hendricks
came and got us out of that burning building, he
didn't use ladders, stairways or any visible means
of transportation. Somehow we were just out of the
building and out of danger. I cannot tell you how
we got out because I do not know. All I know is
Billy took us all to safety. Now, if he can do
that without me seeing any means as to how, I
imagine he could produce the clothes, cars, or
houses he wanted."

"Maybe. I just never thought about it. The
idea of giving away all the money one has just
seems to be ridiculous to me."

"Sure it would, Mary. Can't you see that? You
depend on money alone to give you the things you
want. Eloise, Mazunta, their families and friends
do not. They can have whatever they want without
money because they can manifest it the same way
Eloise put coffee out for us and this food on the
table, which," he turned to Eloise and Mazunta,
"was very good by the way. Thank you."

"I guess I can see that. I never thought about
the coffee and the food."

"Mary, it might help if you looked at it this
way. When you take a trip from here to Africa and
you want to spend time with some folks who live in
a small village out in the vast plains you would
see they live differently than you, right? They
would eat different things. They would prepare
their food differently and just plain do things
different than you do here. It does not mean they
do things wrong, it just means they do things
different. They do things the way they have
learned to do them, the same as you do things the
way you have learned. Well, Mazunta and I have
learned a different way, Mary. It is a way that
means we do not need money."

"I guess I can see that. It just seems so
preposterous to me that one would think of giving
away all the money they have."

"I'll bet David Wiley will do exactly the same
thing, Mary. He and Pam have learned to live by
higher law and they, too, have no need of money."

It was beginning to sink into Mary's head that
there might be a philosophy by which she could
live that was different than hers. The mention of
David Wiley and Pamela (nee Hunter), friends who
were sitting at the table with her that night so
long ago when Gladstone asked Eloise and David
over to his table, suddenly made it evident to her
that others she knew were also living this
different way. She calmed down a little and began
to think.

OBSERVATIONS OF OUR BUSINESS

Many of you have become interested in following what
we are doing in our business.

It is a way of seeing some of the good things and not so good
things that happen to us along the way.

While it may not replicate your story, neither may it be replicated

tribulations of doing business on the internet.

We thought we would keep it up.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

HA! HA! HA!

Fresh out of business school, the young man answered a
want ad for an accountant. Now he was being interviewed
by a very nervous man who ran a small business that he
had started himself. "I need someone with an accounting
degree," the man said. "But mainly, I'm looking for
someone to do my worrying for me."

"Excuse me?" the accountant said.

"I worry about a lot of things," the man said. "But I
don't want to have to worry about money.
Your job will be to take all the money worries off my
back."

"I see," the accountant said. "And how much does the
job pay?"

"I'll start you at eighty thousand."

"Eighty thousand dollars!" the accountant exclaimed.
"How can such a small business afford a sum like that?"

"That," the owner said, "is your first worry."
