The Mexican jumping bean, the seed of a Mexican shrub, is
famous for its quick jumping movements. What causes them?
Caterpillars. Butterflies of the species laspey resia
saltitans deposit their eggs in the shrub's flower and after
the eggs hatch, the caterpillars burrow into the young seeds
of the shrub. Apparently, the seed jumps when the
caterpillar grasps the web it has built inside the seed and
jerks its body vigorously. This scares away birds and other
animals that might attempt to eat the seeds. Jumping beans
remain active for several months.

Mobile phone TV begins in Japan
Japanese mobile users can now watch TV on their phones
Mobile phone users in Japanese cities can now watch digital
TV on compatible mobile phones for the first time.
The service is not the world's first, but it has the
potential to be the biggest, by reaching more subscribers
than in any other country.
Finding new phones in Japanese shops has proved difficult as
only limited quantities have been produced so far.
Japan's 90m mobile phone users can already play video games,
send emails and check websites on tiny handsets.
The new service has been carrying test transmissions for
several months and will remain free while mobile operators
assess its potential and the number of subscribers.
Broadcasters Nippon Television, Fuji Television and TV Asahi
are among the companies which have signed partnerships with
mobile operators.
'Preparing specific content'
"In the short-term, digital terrestrial broadcasting on
mobiles with the same programming as normal televisions will
be of little interest for us," said Masao Nakamura, the CEO
of Japan's top mobile operator NTT DoCoMo.
"But we are getting ready by preparing new specific content
for the service that could come into use later when new
channels are available."
Japan's major mobile carriers say sales of compatible phones
have been good, but they have not yet disclosed any figures.
Subscribers can watch up to nearly three hours of
uninterrupted television with a normal battery.

Although this immune system article is directed towards our
Meniere’s sufferers, all the information holds true for
anyone else. Ultimately you are trying to rebuild or repair
your immune system. That is your overall protective
mechanism. And that is possible according to this JAMA
article information.
Now if you think this through with objectivity, does it not
tell you that a degenerative condition might possibly be
healed? And by using nutritional supplements? A burning
question for you at this point might be: “how long would it
take. ”How long would it take to get past the symptoms that
are so unpleasant or debilitating?” I would hazard a guess
that no one can predict that. From my experience, every
person’s body is different. They heal at different times and
in different ways. I also strongly believe it depends on
what you are doing to help the situation. Are you adding to
the problem? For example, many drugs add more chemicals.
(More drugs = more chemicals and interactions.) Your body
has to metabolize them. And that takes away from the
immediate healing process.
But if you go back to the articles, why not ask yourself if
you condition could be healed?? Explore this avenue of
thought in detail and with hope. What do you have to loose
by spending some serious time thinking in a positive
fashion. Use the scientific review of a major health
organization (AMA). Have you ever wondered why people go to
such unusual health places that offer “healing”? So if you
think about this recommendation as published in the JAMA,
could there be a remote chance for you to get past your
symptoms? I would venture to guess you already know that
your body is constantly repairing itself. Now if you
consciously give it the very best nutrients with which to do
this, could this increase the chance of doing this? And
maybe more quickly and more completely?
Keep these questions and thoughts in mind as you print off
the abstracts.

4Now for the story
"Not really. Maz wanted us to ask you about a young lady
you're working with in China. Would you like to bring her?"
"There are two young ladies, actually and two children.
Their names are Shing Li and her children Wong Li and Tsung.
Then there is a young woman who lives with them, Psong. I
think they would be delighted to come. The kids are now
teenagers. They will love it. Functions like this are always
so great for kids."
"Oh, and we are in the middle of a migration now. I
think they'll love it."
They sat and chatted for a while, Mae offering them
another beverage. All the guests would meet with Missy and
Maz, except Mae, who would go get her own guests. All was
set.
"I think it is time we go to Matto Grosso to get
Miguele, Abetta and all the kids and family. You go get
your girls. The others will be coming with Maz and Missy and
we'll all meet at our place in a couple hours."
"Sounds good to me. See you later."
Billy and Sonora disappeared only to appear in the front
yard at Miguele's and Abetta's. They had a bunch of kids in
the backyard. The noise was reaching all the way to the
front. It sounded like they were playing a game.
Billy and Sonora walked around back and just as they
got there a soccer ball went zinging past Billy's head. He
ducked, involuntarily, laughing as he did. A youngster was
running past him to get the ball. Billy stuck out his arm
and caught him. The young fellow was completely surprised
and went instantly into a squirming, wriggling antic to get
away from Billy. The youngster was a nimble as one could be
and it wasn't long before he got away. Billy was puffed out
just trying to hang onto him.
Both of them were laughing. The young fellow knew Billy
and this was a game the pair of them had played before.
Abetta came over and gave both of them a hug. "Hello,
you two. I see you have come to get us for your wedding.
That's great. I love weddings."
"Hi, Abetta. How are you? I see the family is still
growing. Miguele keep bringing kids home?"
"Mr. Billy he doesn't do that much anymore. But they
seem to walk in off the street. I guess those who are to be
here somehow find their way. We just say yes, come on in,
and they come.They are all so wonderful. And they are
learning higher law. Oomano still comes down with her two
and works with the kids. Miguele helps, when he isn't called
away and I do the meals. So tell me did you come to get us?"
"You bet, Abetta. Most all the folks are going to be
over there within a couple hours. I hope you were expecting
us?" Billy winked at her.
"Oh, Mr. Billy. We can leave in an instant. Here comes
Miguele now."
"Hello, Billy, Sonora. How are you two. It is good to
see you. We were expecting to see you today. Everything all
set?" Miguele looked at Billy.
"Miguele, howdy. I guess we are as set as we're going to
be. The fire is at our place tonight. Coming?"
"You bet. Let me go get Romano, Oomano and Juanita."
"I'll tell you what. Why don't you go get the kids at
the orphanage, and Sonora and I will go get Romano and that
bunch. We'll meet you back here in an hour and then be on
our way."
"That sounds like a good idea. I'll see you guys
shortly."
Miguele disappeared. Billy and Sonora told Abetta where
they were going and left in nearly the same instant.
They gathered up Romano, Oomano and the kids and
Juanita. Romano was not quite ready when they arrived.
Oomano had him out in the backyard digging a hole for
keeping things cool.
Within the hour there were nearly thirty people at
Miguele's and Abetta's. Miguele had returned with the kids
from the orphanage. They had left a skeleton crew to man the
shrine and all the rest of the kids came with Miguele.
Once ready they all decided to leave for Africa. In the
blink of an eye they were there. Everybody else had beat
them to it. This bunch was the last of the expected guests
to arrive.
Sam, Ben and Kenyata had things all organized. They knew
that if they held a fire out at the guest's village it would
alienate the village. The villagers would not feel like
joining them, thinking they would be unwelcome and
interfering.
Sam had instead gone to see the Old One. He caused a
group of men to start a fire in the village common, while
the guests began to mingle about the village. Before you
knew it the villagers were so thoroughly involved in
conversation they never once thought they were not a part of
the group.
Everyone settled around the fire and the chatter was
continual.
Sam looked at the Old One and winked.
The Old One smiled. He knew what Sam and his people had
been up to. He appreciated the fact the guests considered
their hosts in ways more thoughtful than what might be
expected.
