TODAY'S TRIVIA - - -

What exactly is an echidna?

Where in the world can you find sea dragons?

--------------
ANSWERS TO YESTERDAY'S TRIVIA - - - -
--------------

Does the expression "scot free" have anything to do with
Scotsmen?

"Scot free" means absolutely free, without punishment or
harm. The expression has no connection with Scotsmen. A
"scot" or "sceot" was a tax in 12th century England and
anyone who "got off scot free" did not have to pay anything.

Do all animals have belly buttons or only humans?

Pretty much all MAMMALS have belly buttons, though they
don't look the same as ours do. Sometimes, they're just a
long scar, covered with fur. Most mammals, like us, have
belly buttons because at one point they had umbilical cords
to provide nourishment while in their mother's womb. The
exception to the rule: the duckbill platypus and the echidna
don't have belly buttons. Both Australian mammals are born
in eggs.

OPTIMIZE LIFE NOW!™
with Dr. Rhoberta Shaler
---------------------

Just See It!

How is your creative imagination? Can you see things in
your mind's eye and make them "real" to your brain, nervous
system and senses? This is an excellent facility to develop
further. You can use this in your goal achievement process.

Here's an important fact: Your nervous system cannot tell
the difference between an real and an imagined event. That
is why your body goes through the same distress each time
you re-tell the story of a frightening or sad event. It may
not be at the same level of distress the event but the
signals to the body will be the same. Of course, this is
also true of the positive messages and stories you tell
yourself and others.

How can you use this information to your highest good? You
can use the operation of this unconscious creative mechanism
by calling up, capturing and evoking the feeling of success.
You can envision your goals achieved and how you will feel
when that is accomplished. You can see yourself enjoying
the benefits. You can feel the exhilaration and relief in
your body. You can use the natural workings of your mind to
accomplish your goals.

Take the time to fully see, hear, feel, touch, taste and
smell the things you want in life. Just sit with your eyes
closed and imagine all the "sense-ations" that will
accompany your success. Get fully into it. It's simple and
it works!

Keep It in MIND!

MEDICAL COLUMN - - - -
by Karin Henderson

The Relationship of Oral Health to Overall
Health and Longevity
by Tom McGuire, D.D.S.
PART 31 of 31

If the results show that you have no existing oral
health problems it will allow you to at least eliminate
these oral health issues as a potential health risk
factor. If the report shows that oral health problems
exist, you will be doing yourself a service by knowing
that you can now take the necessary steps necessary to
deal with these oral issues. It is also imperative to
understand that prevention is something that is done by
you, not to you. But you can ask for the support of
your dental and medical professionals. If you are
willing to do your part, any treatment for your health
problems will be more successful.

In health,

Dr. Tom

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

<><><><>

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby

--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts

The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places.

The Saga Of Pinehill, The Adventure
is now in bookstores. A controversial and powerful story.
It will change your life. Go to

As you read enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .
----------------

"I look back to the person I was before I
learned higher law. I can't believe how arrogantly
stubborn I was that I was right and you were
wrong. I find it hard to think I was so narrow
minded that I could not see what you were saying.
I see now that it was a matter of not wanting to
see, not a matter of couldn't see. Are we all like
that?"

"Pretty much, honey. Pretty much. People
really do believe they are right in their way of
thinking and they seem quite unwilling to change
it until or unless it is socially acceptable. It
means they have to be responsible for their own
salvation and they don't like that idea, at all."

Just as Tim and Sharon were speaking, they
both received a message. It was from Maz and
Eloise. They were wondering if it would be okay to
visit for a while.

Tim looked at Sharon. They both smiled. Time
sent back the message that they would enjoy the
company.

It was an hour before Maz and Eloise showed
up. They came with champagne, flowers and food.

"Hi you guys. How is the honeymoon going?"

Both Eloise and Maz had a smile on their face,
one of those "knowing" looks.

"That's enough you two. Just because you think
you know everything that honeymooners do doesn't
give you the right to smirk." Tim laughed.

"Well, Tim, we do know what happens. To us it
was the most wonderful period we can think of. We
speak of it often. It was fun and it was a time of
growth. We had to learn how to think together,
love together, live together. It is a rather
euphoric time. We love to think of it."

"I guess you got that right, Sis. I know we
sure like it. I don't know if we would ever tire
of this. Maybe we'll never go home." Tim winked at
Maz. They both smiled.

"That is actually the reason why we came to
visit. There is another couple in the village
getting married in two weeks. They would like to
use the place."

Tim looked at Sharon and they smiled. "I guess
we have to make some decisions, honey. We can't
deprive another couple what we have. This is a
special place."

"Honey, we'll be on our honeymoon no matter
where we are. We've been here for over a week now,
although I don't know where the time went."
Looking to Maz and Eloise, she said, "We'll be out
of here when that young couple need the place.
This has been wonderful and we have enjoyed it. We
feel privileged, actually."

"I knew you would understand. Did you know
that Maz and I were the first to use this place?
Since then there must be nearly a hundred couples
who have used it. The custom used to be that
couples would just build a hut and live off to one
side of the village. When I married this brute
here we introduced a little of our North American
customs, by building this place and coming here
for a month."

"So it was you who built it Maz?"

"It was Tim. Boolanga and I built it as a bit
of a surprise for Bueno here. We both had a very
good time here. But that was over ten years ago,
now. Gee, time flies."

Tim had a real good look at his sister. He was
looking for signs of aging. He didn't think she
was getting old, but he was looking for signs she
was becoming a middle aged woman. He found none.
Living by higher law permits one to look after
their health and matters of life and death. His
sister looked as young today as he could remember.
Maz, too, for that matter. He had no signs of
falling hair, greying hair, facial lines
associated with getting older. He was young and
vibrant as if he were yet 19.

Tim settled in to some real positive and
comforting thoughts when he had a real look at the
couple before him. Then he thought of his folks
and it suddenly occurred to him they were also
young. Even while those around them were getting
old, Sam and Alewka Henry remained the same
youthful couple they had always been.

"Yes, honey, so will you and I. Isn't that
terrific?"

Tim looked around and knew they all knew his
thoughts. "Yes, what a thing to be thankful for,
good health, young bodies, and the ability to live
as our Maker wants.

The very thought nearly brought Tim to tears.
That he was in control of his life to the point
where he could literally maintain his youthful
looks, energy, health and happiness was nearly
overwhelming.

Sharon, too, had a serious look at that same
issue. So did Maz and Eloise. They were all
thankful and all went inside to express
appreciation and gratitude.

HA! HA! HA!

The hunched-back man decides very reluctantly, that he
should go see a doctor after a few too many people have
started to comment on his back.

DOCTOR: I need for you to get undressed, sir. (Hunchback
removes jacket and then stops)

HUNCHBACK: I really don't like getting undressed, doctor.

DOCTOR: If you want me to examine your back you'll have to
get undressed. (Hunchback removes his shirt but leaves his
t-shirt on)

HUNCHBACK: I don't like showing people my back. They always
laugh at me.

DOCTOR: Do you want me to examine your back or not? (Very
reluctantly, the hunchback removes his t-shirt)

DOCTOR: Ah...just how long is it since you were in school?

HUNCHBACK: Gosh, over 20 years, doctor. Why?

DOCTOR: Did you ever wonder all those years what happened
to your backpack?
