What's Fair For The Goose ...!
Driving to town this morning on the Interstate, I looked
over to my left and there was a woman in a brand new Mustang
doing 65 miles per hour with her face up next to her rear
view mirror putting on her eyeliner!
I looked away for a couple seconds and when I looked back
she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that damn
makeup!
It scared me so bad, I dropped my electric shaver, which
knocked the donut out of my other hand. In all the
confusion of trying to straighten out the car using my knees
against the steering wheel I knocked my cell phone away from
my ear and it fell into the coffee between my legs and
DISCONNECTED AN IMPORTANT CALL!
Damn Women Drivers!
Well! You know how it is! I can drive down the road doing
these things because "I" know what "I" am doing - right? But
don't put a lady driver in front of me, beside me or
anywhere near me.
I thought this little joke was funny because of it's reality
and the stupidity it revealed.
However, worse yet is the fact that so many males carry this
attitude into the home, the workplace, recreation and
anywhere else they feel they can get away with the foolish
power-trip thing.
Get over your prejudices. This is the twenty first century.
We long ago left tribal ways behind us, yet it is those who
hang on to those ways that are causing much of the worlds
trouble.
Part of that attitude is this one about the subservience of
women. While I have no real idea where this attitude came
from, though potentially from those ancient biblical times,
it must surely be clear how foolish and ignorant it is.
One day, with your help, we will come to understand that all
human beings ARE EQUAL. They are to be treated equally, paid
equally, respected equally and equally enjoyed.
I am fully aware of the natural propensities, animal nature,
of the human species. I fully understand that man is the
hunter and woman is basically the mother. I know we all have
abilities and leanings that go along with those
propensities. Yet, where does that mean one is greater or
better that the other. It simply means we have different
talents and abilities.
That, when in the hands of the right men and women, spells
the ingredients of teamwork.
If you join the military, one can become an infantryman and
another can become a radio operator. Each is important to
the overall success of the unit.
So too, with the male female thing. Treat it that way.
I once was told to appreciate the garbage man. A wise man
saw that, in my youthful ignorance, I was acting as if I was
better than he. Have you ever been around when the
garbageman hasn't been there for weeks and weeks? As far as
I am concerned he is one of societies greatest assetts.
You must watch, you see, what your attitudes are for they
might reach up one day and slap you right in the face,
proffering results you do not want.

And that is what I want to share here. This is about living
everyday and every minute to your best possible potential.
Not living in anticipation of your death, but taking an
active role in creating a good life for yourself. And the
factual part is that only YOU can create it for yourself.
Neither your doctor nor your spouse, nor anyone else, can do
this for you. This is a brutal, but real fact. The other
scary part is that the choice to take control is YOURS. So
if you choose to move forward in health and longevity, you
need to learn how to do this.
I am going to give you a variety of descriptions,
definitions, and research sites. I urge you to start paying
attention to what is going on ...or not going on, in your
own body. This is how you can prevent many degenerative
conditions from getting a foothold. That includes cancer.
One marvelous place to find all sorts of information is
"Medline". It is a site used by many health care
professionals and the research community.

"How long has this been going on?" Sam
addressed his question to Miguele.
"For about four years now. At first it was
only one, but they found it so profitable they set
up three more to catch as many as they could."
"Why haven't you or the kids at the orphanage
done anything about it?"
"We thought things would just take their
course, Sam."
"Miguele, this is just like the money changers
in the church where Jesus upset their tables. This
is nothing more and nothing less than blatant
money grabbing by the church. They are preying on
unsuspecting victims under the guise of doing
God's work." Sam Henry was angry.
Within seconds he had placed an invisible
shield in front of each of the "holy places" and
from that instant not one took in another piece of
money. Those leaving the shrine simply did not see
these places. The source of money for the church
dried up as if the church were recognized as the
plague it is.
It took some time for Sam to come down off
that anger. He had not experienced it for years
yet he never did like those who preyed on the
innocent, especially when under the guise of doing
holy work, when the organization behind it knew
well they were doing it solely to grab as much
money from passersby as they could. They offered
nothing and expected much. Sam put them out of
business.
Wow! Romano could hardly believe his eyes. He
wasn't sure that kind of anger wouldn't come back
to haunt Sam.
"No, Romano. I know your thoughts. No, that
will not come back to haunt me for I have done
good for the people in closing down worthless
money grabbing fakes. You cannot trade on the name
of God and do well. Each will suffer at some
point. Your Maker requires you do good, and that
you communicate on your inside. Stopping by these
places the church put up, where you gain nothing
but out of guilt or a warped sense of obligation
you again part with your hard earned money is
something that must be stopped. Even at the
shrine, where visitors receive real benefit, they
don't ask for money. Those who truly do God's work
need no money. That is the real key to knowing who
is and who is not doing the work of their Maker.
No true one, who does what their Maker requires,
will have a hand out for reward. No, Romano, this
anger will not come to haunt me for I have done my
Maker's bidding."
Sam was beginning to come down. He was glad he
shut down the church money sources. It was so
obvious to him . Then it happened ...
"Good work, Sam. I am pleased you saw and
acted. The church here is sucking all the
prosperity from the people and giving nothing in
return. They are false prophets preying on
innocent victims. I commend your actions." Then
Jesus reached out and touched Sam on his arm,
again.
The air was "electric" with the love Jesus
broadcast. He and Sam were entirely immersed
within an envelope of blinding light. Only Romano
and Miguele could see into it.
Then they saw Jesus hug Sam, and Sam's
countenance changed.
When it was over, Jesus left as quietly as he
had come. Sam was left there feeling a greater
love than he could remember.
"Sam! Look at you. You are an old man!"
Miguele spoke in shock. He really did not mean
"old man". Sam's appearance had changed. All his
clothing was now a brilliant white. The hair on
his head had changed to white and he now sported a
beard, well trimmed, that was also white. He had
grown two inches taller and the same wider. His
presence was now commanding, a man of magnificent
stature. When he spoke everyone around stopped
what they were doing and listened.
"No, Miguele. I have been made younger. My
work has been elevated to a level different than
what I had been doing. I have been made a member
of the Council of the White Brotherhood."
Miguele and Romano were speechless. While they
had not heard of it before, they were instantly
knowledgeable the moment Sam spoke of it. They
knew exactly what he meant.
Sam put his arms on each of their shoulders
and they immediately felt intense love entering
their bodies.
Crowds were now beginning to come around. They
kept their distance but the encircled the three
men. Sam addressed them.
"Be not fearful of me, these men, of one
another or of organizations. Your lives are
solidly in the hands of your Maker. Fear no one
and fear nothing. Spend your time going inside
yourselves and expressing gratitude unto your
Maker within. Then you shall be rewarded on the
outside. Live in this world but be not of it. Live
the life your Maker, within you, wants. Learn to
listen rather than talk. No man owns your soul,
you only. Learn this that you might make the
journey inside to meet your Maker."

WHY DO WE SAY IT?
Faction. Where did we get the word "faction"
From the Romans. The charioteers who performed in the Circus
Maximus were divided into four different parties and the
Latin word for "party" is factio. Each "faction" wore a
different color and originally represented a different
season of the year - although with time the number of
"factions" was increased to six. Civil war between the "blue
faction" and the "green faction" in 532 A.D. led to the
current meaning of "opposing political groups."

One Sunday morning, while stationed at Osan Air Base in
South Korea, I was in line for breakfast and noticed that
the cook behind the counter looked kind of harassed. After
I gave him my order, he asked me how I wanted my eggs.
Not wanting to burden him further, I said cheerfully, "Oh,

With that, he took two eggs, cracked them open onto my plate
