When You've Had Enough!
A couple with three children waited in line at San
Francisco's Pier 41 to purchase tickets for a boat trip to
Alcatraz. Others watched with varying degrees of sympathy
and irritation as the young children fidgeted, whined, and
punched one another. The frazzled parents reprimanded them
to no avail.
Finally they reached the ticket window. "Five tickets,
please," the father said. "Two round trip, three one way."
Boy! There are times in life when one feels like doing just
what the couple above are thinking. I can remember times,
too, when I wanted to do that with other people's kids.
Funny isn't it how at just certain points in your life there
appears to be no room or tolerance for this kind of
behavior.
I also know the frustrations that come from having little or
no money, and being disabled, by illness or bodily injury.
The condition plays such an important part in our
subconscious we are not able to truly think clearly. As a
result we become frustrated beyond measure with reaching no
success in our efforts.
There are times, too, when things you have been working on
just haven't gone right. It could be a work related task, a
relationship, teaching someone to do things, anything, and
it isn't going right. That can be a pain in the "you know
where".
Time to relax folks. When this happens it is the universe
telling you to back off. Note, I did not say quit. I said
back off. It is time for you to realize you have planted the
seed and now you must back off and give it time to grow a
little. Then you can come back in and give it water, or feed
it. Some things just don't go well when you are at it 24/7.
Scripturally we are admonished to take at least one day a
week off. According to scripture that day is for worship.
Yet, like so many of the laws that came out of the old
testament this one, too, is for one's own good health.
Taking time away from one's task is a means of giving you
psychological rest. It gives your mind time to go to work
and come up with new ideas.
That is why the one who is calm and spends daily time in
meditation often gets ahead faster than those who are out
there hitting it all the time. Follow the laws. You need
mental and spiritual rest, if you would succeed.
So remember, take it easy, back off - - -

Use a quiet time each day to think of your objective.
Play with it, relish it, love it. See it as being already
accomplished. This is only setting up the "diary" in your
mind so your subconscious mind can look at it and
"know" what work it has to do today.

By studying more along these lines, you can make better
decisions. After all it is your body: no one else’s and
you will have to live with the results of all you put
into your body. But I want to remind you of the
American Medical Association’s (AMA) recommendations.

condition unless you choose

Don’t get “degeneration” confused with “aging”. They
are not the same. Having a degenerative condition is
not inevitable or unavoidable. It is preventable.
(Didn’t the AMA say so?) But you have to be on the
lookout for what might be contributing to this
degeneration. Could it be that your body isn’t getting
enough proper nutrients? Our environment is filled
with irritants: seen and unseen. Are you on a weight
management program? At least make sure that the
calories you take in provide some nutrients that your
body can turn into energy/fuel. Recognize also that any
changes in your body from incorrect or chemically
loaded products can easily lead to changes in your
chemistry unknowingly.
Next time your local food store or pharmacy holds a
health clinic, check it out. Test your knowledge and
find out what is new. I think you will find that
chemicals and drugs are not the only answer. Here’s to
your new determination to focus on health.

From the news it looks like there is a chance that
Israeli soldier may be released, giving no further cause for
Israel to continue its fight in Gaza.
Apparently 60,000 people a year die from exposure to the
sun. The majority of those are from cancers caused by too
much suntanning.
North Korea continues with its obstinate arrogant attitude
about its testing of missiles. That the entire world is
against it doesn't seem to have any effect on them.
A Canadian General advises he received an email from the
Canadian peace observer who was killed by Israeli bombs in
Gaza. He advised that Hezbellah were using the UN
observation post for their own purposes. That sounds about
right to me. Cowards always hide behind the innocent. That's
a standard modus operandi.
I guess, in our world today, if there is no bad news then
there would be no news at all and no papers or radio and
television news broadcasts. Sick isn't it.
Yet the news does more than report. They colour the news to
make it appear more alarming or terrible than it is. The
real purpose, as you know, is to get readers, listeners,
viewers. So the more they can dramatize the news while
looking sincere and honest, the better ratings they get and
therefore the more advertising dollars. Everything in man's
world sooner or later comes down to dollars, even religions.
Too bad man did not heed Jesus. They did not when he walked
the earth and they do not now. And if you don't think you
want to follow Jesus there are hundreds of others who give
out the same message. In fact there is only one way to
peace, prosperity, joy and happiness and not one part of it
has to do with man's ways or religion.
If you would have peace and power the only way is to go
inside yourself and commune with your Maker. There you will
find all you need, want and think about. There, alone, is
the way. There is no other. That is the the way all the
teachers over all the millenia have taught.
