The Need of Popularity

In very simple words, the link popularity of your site means
the amount of links coming to you from another sites.
Every major search engine heavily weighs the link popularity
of sites when ranking sites. Some engines even claims they
won't index sites that don't have at least one link pointing to
them from another site.
Why they are doing that ? Just because zero popularity means
that nobody has an interest related to your site content. Since
nobody is interested, why search engines should consider it ?
From their point of view zero popularity is a time wasting.
Under the above circumstances, the link popularity of your site
becomes very important to you, especially if you aim to earn
traffic by indexing your site in search engines directories.
Let's see what you can do in order to increase the link popularity
of your site. First of all you should concentrate on finding sites
having a similar content to yours. This is the most important point
of your campaign because all those links incoming from sites
with similar theme will reinforce the credibility of your site.
Then you should act on the following three ways:
1. Link exchanging.
Contact the owners asking for a link exchange.
2. Sign in guestbooks.
Many website are inviting visitors to sign in guestbooks. Go there
and leave an appropriate comment and do not forget to add the
link to your site. Take care what email address you'll provide, as
many spammers are scrooling guestbooks to collect addresses.
3. Post in forums or message boards.
A lot of webmasters have developed forums and message boards
on their site. First read the terms of use. Most of the times you
have to sign in and to provide an available email address. Then
watch the sense of discussion and post an appropriate comment
together with your link. Some forums do not accept links inside
of your message but they accept signature files.

Your computer has to have enough resources to support
everything going on inside. If it runs low, or resources leak
into space, you may see a GPF. This may also happen if two
applications try to use the same memory location.
Answer: Restart your computer. The memory is cleared. And
you are back in business.

Reclaiming Your Power.
A Powerful De-Stressor!
PART 1 of 5
Last evening, I went for a drive with my son to look at
Christmas lights. To get to our destination, we had to go
through traffic in the main city and then the highway. In
each area I wondered who this strange driver of my car was.
The person I had left home with had turned into a chameleon!
The personality I left home with was fun and respectful and
caring... here was a hostile, speeding... and dare I say... idiot.
But none of it was his fault...everyone made him do these
crazy acts. And all because of a few drivers who were not as
careful or safety conscious as my son... or so he wanted to
believe. And all this happened without any mood altering
products! I was quite amazed at how he allowed these people
to control him. AND THEY HAD NO IDEA THEY HAD THIS
POWER OVER HIM! Pure heart attack fodder!!!
One of the very best "de-stressors" is reclaiming your "power".
Spend some time quietly by yourself. You might end up in
a corner of the local coffee shop or in your car in a park.
Or you might do what some busy executives do... plan:
actually create an appointment with yourself for this quiet time,
and then go to the local library. You want to go somewhere
where you can be alone and think and write. A walk is fine,
but it's awkward to write out your ideas as they come to
your mind. This process is all about capturing ideas in
YOUR mind.
So you need a place where interruptions are not going to
happen. Get yourself out of your normal space. When you
are settled in, reflect on things that have created inner turmoil
for you in the past. Was it the dog or your spouse or your
children? Or was it someone at work or someone totally
unknown as in my son's case... What argument caused
you to feel really negative? Or ready to give up?
The idea is to create a new "you" that allows for those
unexpected moments or minutes of stress, without it affecting
you in a major and unhealthy way. This "new" you will provide
you with instant knowledge and tested actions to prevent
giving your power away. Most of us allow "outside/external"
things to drive our behaviors and actions. We feel they are
not within our control. But they are! You can control your
reactions for the jerk that cuts you off with his giant "off the road"
vehicle in the local parking lot…or the gal who snitches your
parking spot just as you are backing into it. Would it be the
long delays at the checkout counter be causing you heartburn?
Or the spouse who gets very depressed at Christmas and
is unable to help with preparations. Or the smaller than
expected cheque.
If you spend some time reflecting on your reactions and
come up with new and more helpful behaviors, it makes
such a difference in your attitude. It gives you a feeling of
being in control.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

Finally, the Cardinal had to close the door. He was doing
poorly and he knew he was in trouble.
He quickly walked back to his office to phone the Bishop to
forewarn him. The person who answered the phone told
him it was too late. The Bishop was just now speaking
with reporters.
The Bishop fared even worse than the Cardinal. The
reporters went around to the back door. They even had the
two kidnappers with them, who showed them what had
happened. When the Bishop saw them, his lies lost all
power. The incessant questioning by the reporters finally
caught him in a lie.
The press was full of the story the next day. The church
was taking a slamming. The Cardinal and the Bishop were
doing even worse, having been caught red handed in lies.
The story the woman wrote about the kids at the orphanage
only went to corroborate the truth of the stories by the
kidnappers, and the events that occurred.
The entire city was in an uproar. That the church leaders
could impose this on anyone, then lie about it was not
only disgusting but a violent breach of trust. These were
no underlings either. They were the very top of the church
hierarchy in the area.
The public was beginning to think the whole church was
corrupt. They were right. The balance of the churchmen
under the Cardinals domain were well schooled in what
he expected of them. Corrupt cannot lead uncorrupt.
Uncorrupt cannot stay pure when continually rubbing
shoulders of the uncorrupt. All the apples in the barrel will
ultimately be alike.
There was much talk amongst the citizens for hundreds of
miles around. Was the church all false? Was the church
leadership less than what they portrayed? Were they telling
lies in everything they did? Why would church leadership
lower themselves to doing criminal acts? And if they did
such things what else did they do behind the sham of
"holiness"? If one does one thing they know is wrong, they
are fully capable of doing much more. Nothing is then
exempt from their thinking.
That they tried to hide behind the church was an outrage.
That they tried to insist they were innocent was an outrage.
The papers had too many stories from too many places
that all fit too well.
One by one the public wisely decided they would no longer
give their money or their hearts to those who were wolves
in sheep's clothing. They began to stay away from the church
in large numbers.
They turned instead to the shrine where they could not only
worship one who was pure, one whom they had known in
person and whom they knew gave the ultimate sacrifice,
they could, without asking, take the never ending food and
drink that the shrine miraculously offered. The shrine never
asked anyone for anything, neither did they preach, nor
pretend to be what they were not.
The crowds became so huge on the weekends they milled
for blocks and blocks in all directions. No traffic could get
through the throngs of people. The lines lasted all day and
all night, without end
The woman reporter returned once more to the shrine.
She wanted an update on what was happening now the
crowds were so huge. She passed the guards in the alley.
Looking up she waved and smiled. They recognized her
and waved back, nonetheless they signaled.
When the two at the door recognized her they asked her
to wait. They went inside and discussed her presence again.
It was agreed that she had treated them right, did not lie,
and she showed respect for them. She should be allowed in.
The two returned for her and brought her in. She was placed
again in a chair and in the same position. This time, though,
she was not so isolated. The kids moved in closer and were
more friendly, warmer.
"The story broke in all the news outlets. The city is buzzing
with talk about how unfaithful the church had been to its
public. I notice the crowds here have grown ten times
from what they were. Is that a problem for you
kids?" she asked.
"No. The crowds move in an orderly fashion. They come
in one side of the property, stop at the shrine, some want
to touch it. Then they move to the table, take some food
and drink, because they think it holy, then they move out,
down the other side of the property. It is a never ending
line, but quiet, orderly and reverent." said one of the
older kids.
