Don't You Know?

A woman came home from a nearby farm with two
buckets of cow manure for her garden. "What's that for?"
Asked her 6-year-old daughter.
"The strawberries, " Mom answered.
After staring at the buckets for a moment, the youngster
asked, "Can I just have mine with whipped cream?"
I guess she would rather have whipped cream. Yet here,
again, as with all jokes, it points out a truth for us.
The little girl responded that way because she did not
know what her Mother was really planning. She had not
yet experienced the idea of putting the manure on the
ground around the strawberries in order to fertilize them
and help them grow.
When we say, or do, things are you always conscious
of those around you so you know they are aware of
what you say or do?
How many times do you run into conflict because those
around you don't know what you are doing?
It happens to me all the time. Having thought out a course
of action I go ahead and do it. Sometimes those around
me have no idea what I'm doing and, if it concerns them,
they will speak up, usually angry.
It all goes back to the "Folks are always down on what
they're not up on!" theory.
Yet it shows, too, a responsibility for us. We must ensure
those who are affected understand the issue. If we do
this before we act it will save everyone frustration.
How many times have you written material, a letter, an
ebook, a website, from the platform you understand,
yet have given no thought to your audience and how
many of them understand?
Communicating is one of the world's greatest skills. It
takes one hundred percent thought, even some inner
guidance, to get it done correctly for all listeners
or readers.
When writing or speaking try to keep those thoughts
in the back of your mind - -

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Leg/foot - Diabetes
QUESTION: One thing that has been bugging me is a
problem leg/foot. I have diabetes, but I also have back/neck
problems. Now my foot will act up at times. It would either
burn, ache, or just feel that pressure on it is a no-no. I have
asked doctors about what could relieve it, and the answer
they have given is to take Vitamin B supplements. I have
been doing that, but there has been no improvement.
ANSWER: Foot care in Diabetics is very, very important. The
reason is that you have poor circulation in your extremities....
hands and feet. So any trauma (accident) or infection will have
little help from your body's defense mechanism. This "system"
is designed to bring extra fluid to the area (feet) and then take
away toxins as they build up... sort of like washing them out.
Diabetes is a degenerative condition, and the American
Medical Association (AMA) has suggested that this could be
reversible with a "optimum" amount of nutritional supplements",
the most helpful being a multi-vitamin & mineral supplement.

with more cell degeneration. However, please don't diagnose
yourself. I hope you are in touch on a fairly regular basis with
a health care practitioner who specializes in Diabetes. There

so full of hope and advanced knowledge! He personally
has Diabetes and THEN got into medicine to help others!

David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

"I tell you this place was hell, before the lady came to set
up the orphanage. The kids used to steal from us regular.
They used to break our windows. They used to gang up
on us. They used to call us names. They used to get mean.
There was nothing we could do. The police did
nothing." said the man.
"Why did she come here?" asked Maria.
"I do not know. It took nearly a year, but slowly, in that time,
the stealing, the vandalism, the name calling all changed.
We all noticed the kids did not steal any more. They would
come in the store and they were polite. We no longer had
to buy new glass windows. We did not really understand.
So I watched. All the kids were staying right there, next door,
in that vacant lot. All they have done to the place is put up a
roof over a large part of the lot. The city tried to come here
and close them down, you know. But that lady, she was a
smart one and soon the city stopped trying. Good thing,
too." the man said.
He went on, "Then that day came when the lady was shot.
I thought for sure all the good things she had done were
going to stop. She is no longer there, but the people, they
come to worship her. They come to see the never ending
hot food, and the never ending drink. The kids, they are
polite, nice, and they help out. They have come to be good
neighbors. And the business we do because of it is
wonderful. But I miss the lady. She was a truly holy lady.
She was nice to talk to, and somehow I felt good just being
near her. She was a special lady."
"Did you see the kidnapping take place?" asked Maria.
"Yes, yes. Right there, on the sidewalk. I watched it. I
couldn't get to them fast enough. By the time I got there
the kidnappers had already gone with the kids. It all
happened so fast the crowds didn't even respond. It all
happened like lightning." he answered, "I was really
concerned, but then a calm came over me, and I knew
the kids would be alright. I did not know how, but I knew."
"Would you recognize the kidnappers again if you saw
them?" asked Maria.
"Certainly. They are the ones who's picture is in the paper
telling the story. They are the ones who took the first two
anyway. They took the money the kids had, too. They were
on their way to the bank to deposit some of the money from
the shrine. I see they now use an armored car service. I did
not see who kidnapped the other two. That took place across
the way. I did not see it."
"So you are telling me the children are good
neighbors." said Maria.
"They are the best. They will help us with anything, They
pretty much protect the area, what with all the crowds. The
crime in this area has dropped to almost nothing. I am very
glad the lady came and set up the orphanage. I think if you
speak with the other business owners you will get just about
the same story."
"I imagine I would." said Maria, "They have certainly had
an affect on this city. There have been reporters here from
every country in the world. This latest thing with the church
has caused some uproar."
"And so it should. They sit up there in ivory towers telling
us they are the representatives of God and then they pull
this stunt. Those men should be treated like any other criminal.
They should be taken into custody and given a trial and
punished according to the verdict. They have committed
crimes far beyond what most men do. They have breached
the trust of the public. They deserve to have no congregations
left. I hope that is what happens." said the angry businessman.
"A little rough aren't you?" asked Maria.
"All men are equal under the law. No man should be
exempt for any reason." was his curt reply.
Maria left the store and worked her way through the crowds.
She wanted to go across the street to ask questions of a shop
owner over there.
By the time she was done she had taken the entire afternoon.
She was tired so she returned home to write her story.
As she did, she was plagued with the thoughts given her
by Reno. The stories of the shop owners seemed to corroborate
the truths she was learning about the orphanage. She was
being pulled toward what Reno told her.
She felt at peace when she visited the orphanage. She did
not know how the kids did it but that was a very peaceful
environment and one that pulled those needing rest within
their souls. She decided she would go back to speak with
Reno again.
