What can destroy diamonds?
Acid won't destroy a diamond. The only thing that can
destroy a diamond is intense heat. Diamonds are the
hardest substance known to man. "Diamond" comes
from the Greek "adamao", transliterated as "I tame" or
"I subdue." The adjective "adamas" means "unconquerable"
or "indestructible" and was used to describe the hardest
substance known. It eventually became synonymous
with diamond. Ancient Greeks revered diamonds and
some believed that they were actually splinters from
fallen stars.
Where do diamonds come from?
Diamonds crystallize at very high pressure. This means
they must be created by geologic processes at great depth
within the earth, usually more than 150 kilometers down,
in a region beneath the crust known as the mantle. Diamonds
ascend to Earth's surface in molten rock, or magma, that
rises and erupts in small volcanoes. Just beneath such
volcanoes is a "pipe" (called kimberlite after the city of
Kimberley, South Africa, where the pipes were first discovered)
filled with volcanic rock, mantle fragments, and embedded
diamonds. Another rock that provides diamonds is lamproite.
Diamonds are actually found all over the world, even in the
US occasionally. They are primarily mined in about 25
countries, on every continent but Europe and Antarctica.
India was the only source of diamonds for nearly a thousand
years. In the eighteenth century, important sources were
discovered in Brazil and in the nineteenth century, a
significant source was found in South Africa.

Discover Your Passions
by James D. Brausch
The first step to true freedom with your own Internet
business is to discover your passions, hobbies and
interests. Don't skip this step. It will form a solid
foundation for starting your Internet business.
Don't be lulled into thinking that your particular
interests aren't the kinds of things that can make money on
the Internet. If you are interested in some topic, others
are also interested in that topic. You would be surprised
at what topics can be turned into thriving successful
Internet businesses.
Although it is possible to create an Internet business that
is on complete auto-pilot, there is generally a lot of work
to get to that point. I find that one of the biggest
obstacles to success in owning your own business (Internet
or otherwise) is to find the motivation to just keep
pressing on until you are profitable. Choosing to start
your first Internet business with a topic that you find
interesting, stimulating and enjoyable is actually very
crucial to your future success with that Internet business.
There is more to this step than just making sure you pick a
topic that will help you stay motivated though. You will
also be more effective when you enjoy what you are working
on. Your existing knowledge of a particular hobby or other
interest makes you stand out when compared to other
businesses of that topic who's owners are just interested
in making money. Your enthusiasm for the topic will bring
life to your web-site, ad copy, articles and many other
future steps you'll be taking as you build your Internet
business... So, just do it. Before you decide anything else
about your future Internet business, make a list of
everything that you find interesting.
Here are some examples:
1. What are your hobbies?
2. What do you like to do when you are with friends?
3. How do you like to take Vacation?
4. Do you travel? Where?
5. What part about your current work do you like most?
6. What do you do during your lunch hour at work?
7. Do you belong to any clubs? What kind?
8. Do you like to play any games? What?
9. What are your favorite kinds of movies?
10. What is your favorite sport?
11. What are you really passionate about?
12. If you didn't ever have to work another day, what would
you do with your time?
Make as long of a list as you can. Don't try to rule out
anything at this point. Just list all the things you find
enjoyable. Don't worry about the order or how much you find
one thing enjoyable in comparison to another. Just make a
list.
I believe you shouldn't take another step in building your
first Internet business before you have made a list of all
of your passions.

You may create one or more styles that you use frequently.
To merge styles from another workbook, open both the workbook
that contains the styles that you want to merge and the workbook
into which you want to merge styles. From the workbook into which
you want to merge styles, choose Format, Style and click the
Merge button. Excel displays a list of all open workbooks. Select
the workbook that contains the styles you want to merge and click
OK. Excel copies styles from the workbook that you selected into
the active workbook.

Signs of Diabetes
QUESTION: In reviewing your article on warning signs of
diabetes, I am experiencing at least nine of those symptoms.
The latest symptom is that my vision is getting very blurred and
I am able not to focus as good anymore.
ANSWER: The very first thing you must do is seek medical
help from someone who will give you a complete check up.
Having that many signs of a degenerative condition is very
serious. Get some help now and know this could all be reversible
once it is under control. Go back and get the JAMA information
mentioned previously. So there is lots of hope, but you can't wait
for things to get better. At some point total reversal of symptoms
would likely not happen. It all depends on the degree of harm
already done.
But diabetes is nothing to fool around with! It's a very
unpleasant condition with lots of complications, including
blindness. So I beg of you... get some medical help NOW!

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

Maria, Reno and Riata sat down and talked for nearly all
afternoon. Those kids who had no chores came to sit, too.
They all loved to be near Riata.
The day passed so quickly it took Maria by shock. They fed
her with the never ending hot food and by nine in the evening
she was tired and headed for home.
The orphanage returned to its normal routine.
But things were different three days paddling upriver.
Eloise was experiencing cramping with the yet unborn child
she carried. It was a sign the child was getting ready for birth.
Eloise was pleased.
She had spent a great deal of time with Pam Wiley, and with
Mae, Pam's mother-in-law. Eloise did a lot of talking in an
attempt to learn about rearing children. While she knew she
would have no difficulty, she was still eager and hungry for
that knowledge.
Mazunta, her husband watched. He fell in love with her anew,
everyday. He was so happy he had found her for a wife, he
was thrilled in every cell in his body.
"Maz" said Eloise, "I think the baby will be coming soon. It is
getting to be my time"
"I know my sweet one. I have been watching you. It will be
soon. Do you want to let your folks know, so they may be
here?" he responded.
"No. My folks have a sense for these things. They will know.
I am fine and so is our child, although he sure kicks a
lot." she said.
"So it's a 'he' is it. You know this?" teased Mazunta. He loved
to tease this woman who has so fulfilled his life.
The rainy season was coming to an end and the long hot
summer would soon be on them. He should organize a
trading trip to Matto Grosso. Maybe he would have time to
do this before his firstborn arrived.
In conversation with Eloise, he brought it up. She thought that
would be fine and she knew the villagers were getting anxious
to do some trading for materials for summer clothing and such.
Mazunta knew, too, that with David Wiley living by higher law,
along with his wife Eloise, all would be well. He went ahead
and began planning for the journey.
While visiting this day with Pam and Mae, Eloise told them of
the trip. Mae wondered if she might put in a request. She
wanted film for her camera.
"Mae, I think it would be better and easier for Mom and Dad
to bring that with them the next time they come. The trading
stores don't usually carry that kind of thing as most villagers
traveling the river only wanted to trade for cloth, knives,
trinkets and the like." Eloise thought out loud.
"Of course you are right. Do you think they would
mind?" asked Mae.
"Mae, I think they would move heaven and earth for you.
No, they won't mind one little bit." said Eloise, "I will send
them a message later. The next time they come you will have
all the film you need for a while."
"Thank you El. Thank you. How are you feeling
today?" Mae asked.
"I'm fine, Mae. I'm just a little sad Maz is going away for a
while. We have not been apart since we were married. That
is quite a while. I like being with him. He is wonderful to me
and for me." was Eloise's reply.
"Fear not, my dear. He can be at your side in an instant.
And he will be back as quickly as they can make it. The
whole village knows it is your time." said David. He had
come up behind her and had heard her last remarks.
"David you are just like all men. I guess I'm getting sentimental
and selfish. I know this trip has to happen just as it does
every time the rains end. I'm just being emotional about it."
she answered. "What are you working on lately? I hardly
ever see you."
"I was speaking with Ben Striker in Pinehill. He said the
town council finally approved that cenotaph project and
asked him to get me started. They will put the money in
Miguele's hands to direct to whatever charity he thinks
needs it the most. That was my request. I like and trust
Miguele. So the answer, I guess, is that I have begun
molding and carving the statue of a soldier, for the cenotaph
in Pinehill." said David.
"Wow, will that take you long?" asked Eloise.
"No, El, you know I could do it in an instant. But I don't want
to. I want this to come through me and my hands to be the
essence of art and beauty." said David.
