through convection. Warm air rises at the equator and then

north/south direction. However, the earth's rotation causes
them to veer off course. In the northern hemisphere this

Have you ever felt left out? It does not feel good.
Have you ever experienced loneliness during the holidays?
Many people find this to be the loneliest time of the year.
Everyone seems to be going somewhere, meeting
someone, doing something exciting and there we sit.
Doing nothing, nowhere, with no one.
NEWS FLASH! That's your choice! Oooh, does that sound
a little harsh? It is not. It's the reality of the situation. Sure,
you may wish that one group had invited you to join in
and that saddens you. There's a big question, though.
Think about this story. I love it. It was told about
Leo Buscaglia, the well-known therapist and author and
it has always stuck in my mind.
Some people in his class rushed to him one evening and
told him that a young man had committed suicide. They
were so moved because the young man had left a note
saying, "I am so lonely. I am going to walk across the
Golden Gate Bridge and, if no one smiles at me, I am
going to commit suicide."
"Isn't that sad?" they moaned to Leo.
Leo thought for a few minutes and responded,
"Yes, that is sad. However, I have a question. How many
people did the young man smile at?"
Sometimes, we leave ourselves out. We think others are
responsible for our happiness, for our self-esteem, for our
self-confidence, for our sense of belonging. No. Lovely
though it might be to have someone to blame, it is our
responsibility to build the life we most want.
I looked up the word 'include' in the dictionary and found
that it actually means "to take in or comprise as part of
the whole".
Do you see yourself as part of the whole or apart from
the whole? If the group does not invite you in, invite a
group to you. I know that makes it sound so easy and
that it is not always easy to think that way. Your feelings
may be hurt.
OK, you know what I'm going to say, don't you? When
your feelings are hurt, take action. Tell the 'hurter'! How
can anyone know what hurts you unless you tell them?
Do you live in a colony of mind readers? Of course, not.
Do you think and act as though you do?
No one knows how you feel unless you tell them. And,
sure, even when you tell them, there are a lot of folks
who just don't listen! That might happen, but, do take
responsibility for telling folks how you feel and what
you want. After that, it's up to them. How they respond
tells you whether they are actually the kind of people
with whom you would want to be included!
Take responsibility: you have to do your homework,
your 'own' work first! Examine yourself. Have you treated
the person well? Have you demonstrated willingness
to be included? Have you expressed a desire to be
included? More importantly, have you included them?
You are responsible for teaching people how to treat
you. Take that reasonability seriously.
Do not get caught up in 'victim' thinking! You know
that old song:
"Nobody likes me. Everybody hates me.
I think I'll go out and eat worms."
Whoever wrote that song needed a mental makeover.
Yes, it could have been just a fleeting thought in the
songwriter's mind--and I sincerely hope it was--,however,
some folks make it a lifestyle! If you ever feel like a
victim and then take no action to remedy the situation,
you've just become a volunteer!
So, begin now. Have the best holidays ever. Take action
now. Be inclusive to be included.

increases its speed. DMA access is supported by most new
DVD-ROM Drives. Click on Control Panel then System and
finally the Device Manager icon. Now select your DVD-ROM
Drive and go to Properties. Click on the DMA Box and make
sure it is now checked. Now REBOOT

WONDERING ABOUT SYMPTOMS

Back to the chemicals ... you have read about all the proposed
changes it will do to your body. Are you sure? Can you live
with the results if they are not as planned... as our friend's are
now? Can you go to work as a elementary school teacher and
be sick and dizzy and nauseated? How about being an airline
pilot or ICU nurse and having dizzy spells... So how do you
find out about possible side effects? Look on the product bottle,
read the inserts, ask the pharmacist, but know that some
pharmacists aren't always willing to give negative feedback.
The next best area to research is the Internet with Medline.com
or Google or Ask Jeeves. Any good search tool will be helpful,
but get some objective information about the products you are
about to put into your body. And when you read some negative
or confusing wording, stay calm. Ask someone to "interpret"
them for you. Don't jump to any conclusions until you have
considered all the angles. If you have sensitivities or intolerance's,
be doubly alert. Will they be affected adversely? A sensitivity is
something that your body reacts to a little more "intensely" than
the average person. It could give quicker and stronger results,
which you may not want. Read the ingredients carefully. You
may not have any major problems with the main ingredients,
but maybe some of the associate ingredients could be harmful.
A good example is antibacterial soap. Most of us can tolerate
those, but if you have an allergy or intolerance to the microbial
agent in it, you could have side effects. Again, it's your body: know
what is going into it.
So who would possibly ever connect this 'wonder drug' to dizziness?
But then who could ever connect artificial sweeteners with
92 possible side effects? These are all "foreigners" going into
the body: not of its original composition. And then remember,
too, all the environmental and probably hidden…chemicals you
are exposed to every day. There could be great difficulty in
trying to match symptoms with chemicals, so it's up to you to
make wise choices when you add chemicals in many forms.
My friend was fortunate to find a health professional who made
critical suggestions. His gift to us is to share what he has learned.
So stay healthy. Eat your veggies and supplements, avoid pain,
and enjoy pleasure!

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

It was first light. Eloise kept her eyes closed and, thinking
about her Mom, she called her.
She knew this would be the day for her. She turned over,
carefully and kept still. She was asleep again before long.
Three hours later she awakened and got up. She was feeling
contractions, but they were a long way apart.
Mazunta rose and came outside. There was Eloise starting a
fire. He took over the job.
"Our baby will be born today, Maz. I feel it." she said.
He stopped what he was doing and looked at her. He knew
she was right. He smiled. "What can I do?" he asked. He
was calm.
"Nothing. This is women's business. I called Mom. She will
likely be here soon. When it gets closer you can go get
Karmuz and Mae for me. I'll let you know when." she
responded.
He got up from the fire and came over to her. "Bueno, do
you know how happy you make me. It will be a joy raising
children together. I love you dearly. I am very glad you said
yes when I asked you to marry me. I will do anything for
you." and he gave her a kiss and a hug.
She pushed him back. "The first thing you can do for me is
give me some breathing room." she laughed. "Things are
getting a little crowded in there." she pointed to her tummy.
"Do you know when yet?" asked Mazunta.
"No, Maz, that's up to the baby. I know I'm having labor
pains nearly an hour apart. Those will come closer together,
my water will break and then things will start to happen. I'll
send you for Karmuz and Mae before that happens.
They ate a breakfast, a light one, then, putting the fire out,
walked arm in arm toward the beach. Along the way they walked
by Boolanga's and Karmuz's place and Eloise spoke
with Karmuz.
Karmuz immediately smiled. "Don't you worry missy.
Everything will be alright. I will look after you." Karmuz
patted Eloise's arm.
Next they went looking for Mae. She was not at her hut,
so they went over to David and Pam's hut. Mae was there.
Eloise had much the same conversation with Mae, with
much the same results.
The two midwives had now been forewarned, and were
ready to serve. They would await the time when they
were needed.
Eloise and Mazunta casually walked down to the beach.
Eloise had a pain along the way. It hurt. She stopped,
bent over. It left after a short while and they carried on.
Mazunta found a nice spot at the top of the beach near the
tree line. There they sat in the warming sun, and watched
the children at their ball game.
Their conversation was light. Both had the imminent birth
on their minds.
"I'm glad this is a woman's thing. I think you would be too
scared to be there. You're too clumsy!" she laughed and
poked him.
He was about to poke her back when another pain grabbed
her. This one was longer, and stronger.
"Are you alright Bueno?" he asked.
He had not been personally involved in these things before.
He had heard women screaming in pain from the birthing
hut, but never was it his wife or his child. This was a new
experience for both of them.
"Oh! Hi you guys!" said Alewka as she and Sam came from
the village and found them on the beach.
"Hi Mom!" said Eloise, "Hi Dad. It's good to see you two.
You obviously got my message."
"You bet we did Tinkerbell." said Sam as he gave his daughter
a kiss and a hug. He walked over to Mazunta and shook
his hand.
"Hi honey! Are you alright?" asked Alewka as she gave Eloise
a kiss and a hug.
"I'm fine Mom. I was just explaining to the brute over here,
some of the process I'm about to go through. I'm not sure he's
up to it!" she exclaimed.
