Who or what made the dome?
No, it's not evidence of extraterrestrial life or the product
of an ancient civilization. The dome is a natural occurrence,
also called a bulge or elevated plain. What IS worrisome is
that some scientists fear the dome could be a precursor to
a hydrothermal explosion.
What's a hydrothermal explosion?
Hydrothermal explosions are caused by super-heated
water, under extreme pressure, that lets loose into steam,
hurtling rocks and everything else in its path. The damage
caused by such an explosion would be enormous, but other
scientists say there is nothing to worry about. The dome,
they say, may have been there for thousands of years and
may mean nothing.

Six Secrets To Ensure Success

If there were only six secrets and they did ensure success,
would you want to know? It brings a responsibility with it.
Once you know the secrets, you will never be able to ignore
them, or, to complain about the lack of success in your life.
If these six secrets ensure success and you know them, will
you do what it takes to be successful?
Years ago, when I owned a health retreat center, I would give
seminars to large numbers of people. My assumption was that
they wanted to be healthy. Some did. Some didn't. But, they
all wanted to know how. How many success secrets do you
already know? You likely do know how to be successful. You
could give great advice to a friend, right? Now, are you
following your own advice?
I'm going to make an assumption once again. I am going to
assume that you to want to know the secrets... because you
want to be successful. Am I right? You know, it could be that
some folks want to know them so they can talk like a person
who is going to really do something, but, of course, that's
not you. You are ready! Good for you.
Napoleon Hill wrote an amazing book called Laws of Success.
After researching long and talking to hundreds of very
successful people, he narrowed it down to sixteen laws. It's
a very thick book and every page is gold. Think about these
things. Spend a half hour after reading this considering the
place of these six in your life. If they need to be
magnified, now is a good time for that.
ONE: HAVE A BURNING DESIRE
These days we call that 'passion'. When you look that word up
in the dictionary, it says, in part, 'an intense, driving or
overmastering feeling or conviction' and ' a strong liking
for, desire for or devotion to some activity, object or
concept'.
What is it that you can pursue tirelessly? What is it you do
that allows time to pass without notice? What absorbs you?
Fires your imagination and enthusiasm? Inspires you?
Lofty words. It is important, though, to wrestle that concept
to the ground and come up with one or two things. Until you
know your burning desire, you are may feel short of a starting
place for your success journey.
TWO: HAVE SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Everyone can be an expert at something. All you have to do is
decide to become one. My grandson went through an early
teenage phase of answering most questions with a shrug
accompanied by "I dunno". He seemed to be afraid to risk
committing to an opinion, an idea, or, even a preference.
Fortunately, that has passed.
How about you? Do you know what you know and what you want to
know? Specialized knowledge is a saleable commodity. In the
manufacturing world, I've read examples of line workers who
took their contributions so seriously that they made them an
art form. You can do the same. Acquire the specialized
knowledge that will fulfill your burning desire.
THREE: BE GOAL-ORIENTED
You would not likely walk into a travel agency to buy a
ticket, and, when the agent asks 'Where to?" say "Surprise
me!" There are many people who seem to live their lives that
way. And, most of them complain like crazy!
As it says in Alice in Wonderland, if you don't know where you
want to go, any path with take you there. On the contrary,
you can cut down on your travel time enormously by choosing
your destination and mapping out the shortest or most scenic
route.
Goal-achieving is one straight road to self-esteem. It
allows you to give up excuses and save that energy for new
goals. Take the time to think through and write out your
goals.
FOUR: BE DECISIVE
Oh, this is big! Successful people make up their minds
quickly and change them slowly. Others make up their minds
slowly and change them quickly.
Napoleon Hill says never trust a man who has enough the facts
and will not make a decision. I would add 'because he/she is
likely to be a perfectionist'. Perfectionists are not happy
decision- makers because they are so afraid of making a
mistake. They truly believe that, if they could just get a
little more information, they would make a better decision.
Problem is, they seldom think they have enough.
Make up your mind. Take action. Do-o-o-o something!
FIVE: SURROUND YOURSELF WITH A MASTERMIND TEAM
None of us is as smart as all of us! Open yourself to
supporting and learning from other like-minded, like-focused
folks. Join together with them regularly to move your life or
business forward consistently.
That's why I offer regular group coaching sessions. It gives
people an opportunity to meet regularly by phone with five
other people over several months. The advice, experience and
expertise that is available in those sessions is invaluable.
Everyone wants everyone to achieve what they most want... and
they help them get there!
SIX: BE PERSISTENT AND CONSISTENT
Ever been around a person who always has a new good idea.
That's wonderful, but, do they follow through on their ideas?
One way of avoiding success is to just keep thinking and never
acting. Makes great conversation but very little is ever
accomplished.
When you get a new good idea, create yourself a safe parking
lot for it. Write it down. Capture it for further thought or
another time. Incorporate it when you have achieved your
current goal. It will be there waiting for you.
There's a very good reason that someone said 'When the going
gets tough, the tough get going.' That's a description of
consistency and persistence. And, when the tough get going,
they keep going. Not blindly thrashing and flailing through
the mire, but keeping their eyes on the prize while skirting
any obstacles in the way. They get going intelligently.
Many success writers have said that too many folks give up
just before they would have accomplished their goals. Don't
let that be you.
There are many more secrets and you likely have heard them
all. The secret part, though, is putting them into action.
Go for it!

QUESTION: I HAVE BEEN FEELING LIGHTHEADED/DIZZY
FOR THE LAST MONTH,AND MY HEAD FEELS CLOUDY
ALL THE TIME LIKE ITS FULL OF FOG.... SOME
DIFFICULTY REMEMBERING THINGS.SOMETIMES WHEN
I GET OUT OF BED I HAVE TO WAIL A BIT TO STOP THE
DIZZYNESS. I AM 32 FEMALE AND HAVE NO OTHER
HEALTH PROBLEMS AND TAKE NO MEDS.... THANKS
FOR YOUR TIME.
ANSWER: This is a very frequent question to our website and
I send out a list of items that I call "possible triggers". In the
eighteen months we have been online, we have found many
commonalties in symptoms which people describe. Our site
has to do with Meniere's symptoms. They all occur in the
head, BUT I hasten to add they are not psychological symptoms!
These are very real physical complaints in that part of the
body. So any nerves, which are there and are somehow
irritated by something, could well react in their "designed"
responses. By that I mean, the balance nerve in the inner
ear would give off balance symptoms if faced with unusual
conditions.
Lightheadedness and dizziness would have to do with the
balance nerve, as would nausea. Or the optic nerve in the
eye would give off "optical" signs and symptoms, such as
flickering or blurring, etc. So something is irritating the balance
nerve in the inner ear. The next step would be to figure out
what it could be. In our time online, this is one of the major
complaints, and when you start listening to people describe
their lifestyle or environment, you often find the key to the
problem. Then the challenge is to decide if you can eliminate
the "trigger" or have to learn to live with it. (Again the
JAMA information could apply here.) A very important point
to note here is the fact it has only happened in the last month... a
good sign. So I get people to go back in their minds and find
out what happened before that. Chances are they had some
sort of exposure to a procedure (dental work: root canals, or
cleaning, etc.) that caused the defense mechanism of the body
to start up the inflammatory process. But not always. Sometimes
things like noxious fumes, or diet pop or artificial sweeteners
could have build up to a saturation level in the body and it can't
handle any more. Then the symptoms start. Again, they would
reflect the area most affected.
Another note of importance is the fact this person woke up
with the symptoms. So the possible trigger might be in their
immediate environment. We have people who are allergic to
their pillows! It's detective work and very worthwhile doing,
either by yourself or with someone else. And remember if
you take something to relieve the symptoms, chances are
you are adding to the problem with more chemicals.

and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts
The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many
adventures and many places.

Both Mae and Susan were aware of the
monastery. They could not see it yet but they knew
it was there. They sat and studied the cliffs.
"There it is." Susan was the first to spot it.
There were several dark spots on the face of the
cliff that looked like they might be caves. They
were purposely disguised to look that way.
They were yet five or six miles away. Yet the
cliffs were such a large and inescapable wall they
commanded all one's attention. Slowly walking in
the direction of the cliffs the ladies studied
them. They were looking for more signs of the
monastery. They found none.
As they approached the cliffs it was getting
late in the day. The sun shone on them lighting
them up in ways that could only be described as
spectacular. It was quite a sight, the reds,
oranges and yellows bouncing off the different
color of rock within the escarpment. It was a
sight that could only be seen at this time of day
and only when the sun shone on the cliffs. Today
was one of those days and the ladies were
enthralled with the sight.
They decided to bed down and stay the night
without going any further. Tomorrow they thought
they might visit the monastery and then commence
the climb to the top of the cliffs. They would not
climb them, of course, but walk up the road which
was steep enough to be considered a climb.
While it was cool under the rocks, once the
sun set, the ladies controlled their own
environment and slept comfortably.
The next day they were back on the road early.
They were still a couple miles from the cliffs, so
they were wide awake by the time they got to the
road that climbed the steep rock.
Mae suddenly and for no apparent reason veered
to the left, rather than taking the road. Susan
knew exactly what she was up to. Maybe 150 metres
off the road, behind some trees was a well hidden
hole in the cliffs.
Mae walked inside and about 30 metres inside
they found another hole in the walls of the cave.
Mae had made light and warmth happen so they
remained comfortable. Going inside the hole in the
cave they found stairs carved out of the rock.
They began to climb.
They climbed 100 stairs before they were at a
chamber in the rock that gave them some rest for
their legs. The chamber was a large room that even
had a window, that is to say an opening to the
outside. Mae and Susan walked over to it. It was
one of those holes they had seen yesterday. It was
made to look like a hole for a cave and had no
particular dimensions.
They found another set of stairs and they
began their ascent. Another 100 stairs and they
met a man. "Welcome. We have been waiting for you.
We are about to commence our morning meal. Would
you care to join us?"
Mae and Susan knew immediately this man lived
by higher law. In fact they knew when they first
entered the cave entrance far below. The area was
filled with love. Yet few there were who found
this place. Only those on the path or who lived by
higher law already, would come here. The ladies
had passed through a protective shield that
permitted entry only to those who lived by love.
The thought communication passed back and
forth among the three of them at a furious pace.
The people who lived here had been aware of Mae's
and Susan's presence in China for months now. In
fact they had followed the work.
The man took them up another staircase. This
time the stairs numbered only 50 and they entered
another large room within the rock. From this room
there were entrances to six other areas. Light was
emanating from one of the doorways, as was the
sound of many voices.
The man guided the two ladies into this area
and there was a long table at which 20 people sat.
They were partaking of a meal. Once Mae and Susan
stepped into the room the eat ing ceased and all
stood. One by one they came to Mae and Susan and
hugged them. Each hug was accompanied with a
"Welcome" There were both men and women here.
Mae and Susan soon learned this was a special
group who never allowed themselves to be seen
outside this place. They would go out daily,
invisible, and do the work of broadcasting love
over large areas of the world. It was in this way
they helped create an environment wherein the
inhabitants could seek peaceful lives. it was also
in these areas they attempted to stimulate
interest in higher law.
As it happened there was one here whose work
had taken them over Pinehill for many, many years.
"We know of Sam Henry and his family. In fact
we will have one of our brothers join us later for
this meal. His name is Sien. We are aware you know
him."
