Having acquired all this knowledge now, you should
be able to look at your symptoms and see a couple of
possible solutions or at least a small hint at possible
treatment. This will allow you to write out your symptoms
with clarity. You can then ask if a certain treatment
could be a possibility. You can refer to certain friends
(Internet friends are friends) as having done this or that.
But don't mention the Internet research unless your
doctor has given you an indication that they accept this
willingly. Be factual and non-emotional! If you have
access to a medical article written by an expert or authority,
by all means print it off, but don't, for instance, take an
article such a the one out of the Seattle Times and
use it as a reference.

But the REFERENCE used BY the Seattle Times
could be a recognized authority, and that is fair. Lastly,
think about how you would feel if your own professional
status and capabilities were challenged. Then figure out
how you would like someone to work with you to make
this work. And do that. (It's a quick course Dale Carnegie.)
So until you know how it would be received, leave your
Internet research out of the picture. Use it for your
education. Many, many doctors are open to people
doing their own research and considering their
suggestions, but a few are still offended when you
bring them another point of view. You need their
help . . . to do your tests, to get specialist support, to
be your advocate, to smooth your path through the
health care process. They will be your best ally. And
so is the office staff. Treat them all with courtesy and
respect, and as you would want to be treated.

universe. The laws are the laws whether we like
them or not, whether we see them or not, whether
we use them or not. That is why it is important to
learn the laws because they will work in our favor
when we do. When we do not and we do something
stupid the laws still work, only they will work
against us. The laws are. That is the beginning
and the end of it Sharon. There are no gray areas.
Learn and use the laws or do not learn them, that
is your choice."
"That is why I came here to question you. I
want to learn the laws, but it's tough, and when I
overcome my emotions won't that make life a bore?"
"My goodness no. Life becomes so enriched it
is far superior to life man's way. Begin to
practice doing the good deed and then leaving.
Begin to withhold your emotional outburst and see
the strength and power that comes from it. Begin
to overcome your emotions in all aspects of your
life and you will see the beauty, the value, the
benefit and the strength that comes."
"Then what?"
"The next step is a continuation. Once you are
in control of your emotions at all times, once you
see the world through clear thinking then you are
able to see that spiritual law exists. You begin
to 'know', inside, the power of thought. From
there you can commit to living your life by higher
law and accept no alternative. It is at this point
you learn the power of belief. You practice
believing, and now you no longer have the doubts
taught you in your youth but the experience of
successful control and clear thinking."
"I can see that. Would meditation help?"
"Meditation is the vehicle whereby you can
reach a communication with your Maker. Yes, it not
only helps, it is necessary. One must take time
every day to be still. However, you must also
still the mind. You must cease all talking to
yourself within your mind. Do not describe things
or call them by name. Do not send word or a prayer
to your Maker with words. Practice 'knowing' ,
sending the thought, not the words. You will
receive a 'knowing' back and not words."
"That sounds hard to do. How will I know?"
"You will know. There will be no question in
your mind once you have practiced. Soon you will
see."
"Do I do anything else?"
"Yes, visualize yourself as a Master, as one
who knows the laws and uses them, as one who
manifests what you need, who aids mankind in all
manner of disaster, who spreads love wherever you
go, who is always calm and powerful, at one with
your Maker. KNOW this to be a fact. No doubts. See
yourself as this Master in all things. Desire not
any of the things of man. You will not need money
when you are a Master. You will not need cars,
houses, clothes, prestige, position, or any of the
things of man because you can create all you need
when you need it. You need not accumulate. You use
only what you need when you need it and you do not
horde. What you need you manifest. That is why you
must clearly understand the law 'As ye sow, so
shall ye reap.' You will learn that any emotion
will bring you thoughts that will manifest into
things that will harm you. There is a time and
place for your emotions and it is not in the daily
practice of your life with higher law. Any
thoughts of anger toward someone you think wants
to harm you will result in that anger being
unleashed upon yourself. You must always and only
deliver love, no more, no less."
"But if someone wants to harm me can I not
defend myself?"
"Certainly. You broadcast love unto that one
or those who wish you harm. They will receive that
love and use it in one of two ways. They will
either receive it and stop what steps they were
taking against you or they will use that love as
power against you. However in doing the latter
they visit upon themselves the harm they would do
to you. You are always delivering the love of your
Maker. No harm shall come to you."
