Valentine's Day?
I'm providing a real public service with today's facts. I've
got stats direct from the National Retail Federation, which
monitors things like this. According to the NRF, in 2003,
men said they planned to spend an average of $125.96 for
Valentine's Day. Women reported they planned to spend
an average of $38.22. Hey, sounds fair to me!
Who was St. Valentine and how did he become associated
with a day for lovers?
The Catholic Church recognizes at least three different
saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were
martyred. According to one story, Valentine was a priest
who served during the reign of the Roman Emperor Claudius II.
The emperor outlawed marriage because he decided that
single men made better soldiers than married men. Valentine
defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for
young lovers in secret. When his actions were discovered,
Claudius ordered that he be executed. Other stories suggest
that Valentine may have been killed for helping Christians
escape Roman prisons. Pope Gelasius declared
February 14 St. Valentine's Day around 498 A.D. Later,
during the Middle Ages, it was commonly believed in France
and England that February 14 was the beginning of birds'
mating season, which enhanced the idea that the middle
of February -- Valentine's Day -- should be a day for romance.

Few Times Of The Year ...
All year long I write about loving, giving, sharing, knowing
full well you are busy and most of the time your own goals
and objectives get in the way of paying attention. That's okay.
I understand those things. I continue because I know that
from time to time things don't go your way, or at least you
think they're not, and I know you can use a little
encouragement.
That is the purpose behind thePEBBLE and that is the
purpose behind the story of The Saga Of Pinehill.
Christmas time is the one time of year, whether you are
Christian or not, when all the world is bent just a little more
slightly toward good will, rather than fighting.
It is the one time of year when we all appreciate that we
should give, that we should share, that we should consider
our fellow man and work to his benefit rather than our own.
I love this time of year and I love each and every one of you.
It is a pleasure for me that you have subscribed to
thePEBBLE. It is my sincere wish it brings you joy and a
little insight here and there. It is my wish it helps show
you the way and from time to time brings you to that place
in your life where you want to be.
I hold no exclusive to the ideas shared in thePEBBLE. All
men have them. My job is to get them out front and center

Why You Need To Study This Information Carefully
This is one of the most important articles regarding
your overall health you will ever read! Please print it
AND save it. The subject is the highly toxic mercury
you are being exposed to from your dental fillings.
Mercury fillings are more commonly called amalgam
fillings. This article has to do with these poisonous
fillings: the silver looking ones in your teeth that
release mercury vapor into your body. Do you recall the
silvery liquid you used roll around in the palm of your
hand when you broke a glass thermometer, not realizing
it was hazardous? That’s the form of elemental mercury
that consists of 50% of your amalgam fillings. We now

require special precautions wherever it is used. Yet
dentists everywhere continue to fill your dental
cavities with it. Therefore you might rightly ask; just
why are dentists still using it? The answer is that

these fillings are safe and because these fillings are

Dr. Tom McGuire “entered” our lives as I researched
possible underlying causes for a very debilitating
condition called Meniere’s. It had seriously affected
our family’s life since the mid 90’s. I sensed that
there must be valid causes for the classic symptoms of
dizziness/vertigo, pressure or fullness in the ear,
tinnitus and hearing fluctuation. In my research, I
came across references to mercury toxicity and root
canals as potential contributors to these symptoms. But
I needed more help in understanding how mercury and its
properties might be related to the Meniere’s symptoms.

"I just don't understand why we aren't taught
this by the churches, Tim."
"Sharon you have a choice. You keep coming
back to that statement as if you are afraid to
leave the church. You are acting as if by going in
this direction you are leaving what the church
teaches and what if they are right? Maybe you will
be condemned to hell or something. This path is
not for the weak of heart, Sharon. If you see this
as the way you want then commit to it. You will
not proceed unless you commit to the point where
you accept no alternative. If you don't want to do
that then don't waste your time, it will only
bring on heartache and frustration. It is always
your choice, Sharon. None of this is forced upon
you. It is there for you to observe and act upon
if you wish. None but you can choose the direction
you will take."
"But Tim, this is a big step."
"Is it. You came here looking for answers and
now you have found them and are at that point
where you must choose you suddenly develop fear?
Are you afraid to take action because you are
afraid you will become responsible for your own
life, that you can no longer lean on what the
church teaches you, that it is you alone who
directs your life?"
"I...I don't know. But I am afraid. I was
afraid when I came here because I thought you
might not want to talk with me. When I found you
did, that you forgave me, I then wanted to know
how I can learn but now that you show me the way
I'm not sure I want it."
"Are you afraid that you will leave all you
know? Are you afraid you will leave all your
friends, money, your home, your way of life? Ask
yourself what are these things you are afraid of.
Do they keep you in bondage? Do they own you or
are you in control of your own life? Can you leave
these things or do they own you?"
"What do you mean do they own me? Of course
they don't own me."
"If you cannot leave these things then they
own you. They are more important to you than where
you are going. They are so important to you that
you will not make the choice to take your Maker's
way. They own you."
"That's crazy. These things don't own me."
"They do if they control the way you think
about your future. If they are so important to you
that you are afraid to leave them then they
control you. You don't control them. They own you.
You don't own them. They are directing your life.
You are not directing your own life for you will
not leave these things."
"Tim that is preposterous."
"Is it? Why are you afraid to stand alone? Why
are you afraid to leave these things and start
again all by yourself, alone, strong and
courageous? Why are these things so important to
you that you are afraid in the first place? Think
on these things Sharon. What do you think Jesus
meant when he said it was easier for a camel to
pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich
man to get into the kingdom of heaven?"
"Tim, this is hard. Why are you chasing me
like this? Why are you forcing an answer?"
"I force no answer, Sharon. It all comes down
to a choice for every man. Either yes or no. There
is no maybe, or sometime, or when the sun shines
through the clouds, or when the kids leave home,
or when things are better, or quieter, or more
secure. Anytime you think on this matter Sharon
the time is now. It will always be that way. The
fears you have now you will have later. The things
that deter you now will deter you 30 years from
now. It is the same for all men. Each must make a
choice. There is no other way. One does not slip
onto the path unnoticed. It is by choice only."
