to reach your marketing objectives...no paper, no

A while ago I wrote about skin in a general way. I
mentioned things that are normal and then shared ways
that a member of the medical "community" would report
observation on abnormalities. Now I would like to again
briefly restate some of the normal functions of the largest
organ in your body but also discuss some abnormalities
and I want to do it in a way that you can participate. You
need a tool...the poor man's microscope: a magnifying
glass. My battle cry has to be "this is your body. Learn to
protect it and understand how it works. Think." We put
make up on it. We shave it. We wash it. But do we really
take the time to study it? And understand how it can keep
us healthy? Rarely. And using an inexpensive tool like a
child's microscope, would be a perfect way to start. Most
of us have looked more closely at a beetle or frog than
our own skin! Here is a site, which has an excellent
cross section of skin.

You can get a good quality, reliable, inexpensive
magnifying glass in any supermarket, department store,
or school supply place. And if you are really creative and
frugal, you could use the bottom of a coke bottle, but the
details won't be so well defined. Once you have one of
these "tools" you will find all sorts of uses for it! So let's
start the anatomy and physiology lessons. "A&P" in the
medical world....

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

"SIEN" Eloise hollered, so surprised to see her long
lost friend. "I haven't seen you for so long I was thinking
about you and thinking I should go to meet with you."
Eloise ran up to him and gave him a big hug.
"Maz, this is Sien. He is/was my mentor. Had it not
been for Sien, I would not be here." said Eloise.
"Well, she puts it a little more dramatic than it really is." said
Sien as he walked up to Mazunta and shook hands. "It is
nice to meet you. I saw you at your wedding, but we did
not speak."
"Yes, I remember. You came with Jesus, and the others.
Thank you." said Mazunta.
"So now you two have brought a little girl into this world.
Where is she?" asked Sien.
"She's in the hut, sleeping. Come." said Eloise.
Eloise had a soft spot in her heart for Sien. It was Sien who
was her guide when she was new at learning higher law.
He had shown her the way and helped her step across the
veil. It is in that way Eloise was able to survive, and keep
David from killing himself, through his own ignorance. Sien had
"held her hand" so to speak at times that were critical for
her. Once she had committed, it was he who spent time with
her during those first few important days of living by
higher law.
"You have a nice baby girl." he said after he had looked at
her for a while, "I am happy for you."
Outside again, the three of them sat down on the bench
and on the ground, near the baby's swing. They talked.
"I see, also, you have been busy, you two, teaching others
the way. That is good. I am especially pleased at what is
happening at the orphanage and with the orphans at
Oomano's place. Your working with Romano as you did
has certainly changed his life. We will come to his wedding,
too, but don't tell him. There will be time for us
there." said Sien.
"We did only what seemed necessary at the time. Whether
by circumstance or by personal development, these people
seemed to be ready. Just today we had a couple orphans
here from the orphanage. They had been taught by Riata,
and today they stepped across the veil. It is wonderful to
help these people. They will be great assets to the cause
of helping mankind." said Eloise.
"That is true. I want to see David and Boolanga, too, before
I leave here this day. I was immensely pleased to see David
make the commitment. He has certainly changed his life
around. I guess having all that money was a lesson to him.
It brought him nothing but troubles. Too much too soon. It
was a bondage to him." Sien observed.
"David has become a real contributing member of our
village, Sien. He works hard and works well with our village
carvers, and he seems to like it." said Mazunta.
"Yes. and his family, too, I notice." said Sien.
"Yes, especially Mae, his Mother. She has been a help to
us as well. She, too is much welcome in this village." said
Mazunta, "Bueno loves her like she loves her own Mother."
"Eloise loves everyone. She has a special heart. She feels
she has so much she really wants to share it. While that is
a common trait among those who live by higher law, it is
especially strong in Eloise. She is a special woman. She
came to higher law of her own volition and by herself,
without anyone showing her the way. She is indeed a
special lady, and well respected among us for that." said
Sien, to Eloise's embarrassment.
And, so, the conversation went on. They had a lunch and
beverage and then the baby cried.
Eloise rose to go get "Allianni" as they were coming to
calling her, short for Alewka Aniata Mae.
Sien put his hand on her arm "Eloise, may I?" and he rose
to go get the baby.
As soon as he entered the hut the child stopped crying.
They could hear him cooing and talking to the child as
older folks do with babies. It was a while and then he
brought her out for her Mother for feeding.
As he brought her out there was a bright and brilliant light
surrounding him and the child. He was imbuing her with
a strong love that would stay with her for the rest of her life.
The child bathed in it. Slowly Sien walked toward Eloise.
"She is a wonderful little girl." he said simply, and handed
the baby to Eloise.
