What is the fastest time someone has climbed the
102 flights of stairs?
The fastest time is 10 minutes, 15 seconds (a new world
record) established in 1999. (The person who made that
record was participating in a contest sponsored by the
Empire State Building). He had to climb a total of 1,860 steps
to make it from street level to the 102nd floor. The average
person climbing one stair every 2 seconds would take
1 hour and 2 minutes.
Does ANYTHING live in the Dead Sea?
The Dead Sea really is dead. It's actually a lake, but one
that contains no life of any kind except for a few microbes.
No plant, no seaweed, and no fish will live in its water,
which is about six times as salty as the ocean. (The shores
of the Dead Sea are white, covered completely by salt.) Fish
that accidentally swim into the Dead Sea from one of several
freshwater streams feeding into it are doomed. They die
immediately and their bodies are quickly coated with salt.
Even sea fish put into its waters soon die. Humans, however,
are not bothered by the mineral salts. In fact, many people
go to the Dead Sea just to cover themselves in minerals and
mud as a beauty treatment for the skin.

What Marketing Is

Marketing is the analysis of market. If you have a product
you must analyze the market to know two fundamental things:
<> Can you sell the product?
<> In what conditions?
Marketing is not advertising or promotion, it is a complex
operation in order to find the answers to the above questions.
You may use advertising as a tool to collect some data for
a subsequently processing, but marketing means to analyze
customers needs, similar products, competitors and their
companies.
Combining all this information into an overall picture you should
find the right answers to the followings.
1. The Market Segments.
In different words, that means to know what kind of people need
your product, from what area they belong, why, when and where
they buy what you offer. You need this information to target all
your activity to those most profitable segments.
2. The Similar Products.
At this point you need to know what needs they cover, prices,
warranties, ways of selling, payment and delivery. Analyzing all
this data you will be able to find the right positioning for your
product and what is necessary to deliver on that positioning
3. Competition.
Not only who they are is important, but especially what they do.
You must analyze their companies too. That means having a
profound understanding the forces of competitors in your industry,
their attitudes, objectives and capabilities.
4. Tactics and Strategies.
This point means to know how to advertise correctly, how to
communicate with the potential customers (via email, letters, etc)
how to sell your product.

DERMATITIS is the inflammation or infection of the skin,
and it can be from many, many different causes…."dermis"
being skin: "itis" meaning an inflammation or infection of
the skin. But the skin is usually intact, meaning there are
no cuts or holes in it. and unless it's worn down (abrasion),
it should offer you lots and adequate protection. So in
dermatitis, something has gotten into it or under some or
all of the layers. So again you would have redness and
warmth, and maybe even eventually some discharge of
pus. Pus is the combination of toxins and body fluid.
Then you see what is normal for an infection. It can effect
anyone at any age, and can occur on any part of your
body. It can have happened recently (acute) or stay a
long time (chronic).
ATHLETE'S FOOT is also called ringworm of the feet or
"tinea pedis". It is caused by fungi (fungus) and will grow
most commonly in nails and feet, especially the soft and
moist area between toes. You would not want to examine
this very closely. It requires professional treatment, as this
is VERY difficult to get rid of. It is contagious, meaning
you can spread it to others if you don't take proper
precautions. Ringworm, on your arms, is a member of
this group and it is characterized by ring-shaped discolored
patches on the skin. These would be covered with vesicles
(pools of liquid exudate) and dried scales. Again, it would
reddened and dry or very moist. Because this is very itchy,
it is common for people to scratch, but that contributes
to its spread.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

"We went to visit Eric, Sam. Oh, you said you know. I
was not very impressed with my son this day. And it
seems he doesn't have much use for his
family." said Mae.
"Yes, I know, Mae. I just saw, when I asked you the
question. It is not a pleasant condition is it?" said Sam.
"No, I wonder how it could happen?" she asked.
"Mae, when a doctor graduates from college and begins
to earn some money, any money is like winning a lottery.
After all the pain and discipline he is suddenly free to
do the things he wants. In some men, like Eric, where he
had the example of Frank before him, they think they are
much more than they are. They develop that air of
invincibility. That accompanied by pride causes this
condition. Worse yet, when things don't go right they
blame anyone but themselves. Frank is still blaming you
for his mess, Mae. All these years he has not had the guts
to look at the real truth. It is sad." answered Sam.
"It also hurts, Sam." said Mae.
"Don't let it, Mae. He owes you nothing. You owe him
nothing. I don't know what you wanted from the relationship,
but you already possess all you want, with David and Pam.
Few parents have the deep love and devotion you get
from those two." said Sam, in front of David.
"Careful now Sam." she laughed, "He'll get a swollen head."
"Not David. Once you step over the veil to live by higher law
you are considerably exempt from the maladies offered by
man's world. None of the things man wants is needed when
you live by higher law. David wants for nothing. That makes
him strong. He can therefore give, without taking or wanting
anything in return. You will not sway his head. He has too
much to lose." said Sam.
"I guess I knew that." said Mae, "My children have each
turned out different than I expected. I expected much more
of Eric. He used to be so attentive to his Mother. David is
the one who seemed aloof. Now look at them. The weakest
became the strongest and the strongest became the
weakest. Strange."
"Not so strange when you know and understand the
circumstances, Mae. I am sure Frank's trial and imprisonment
had given Eric the notion that he has to be better. He likely
thinks his Father's reputation affects how folks look at him.
Little does he know how foolish that is." said Sam.
"That coffee was good, Sam. May I have
another?" asked David.
As he got up to get the coffee pot, the door to the garage
opened and they could all hear a car drive in to the garage,
shut down and the garage door close.
In minutes Alewka came in with parcels in her arms and
her two sons following her, each having their arms full, too.
"Hi Mae! Gee, it's nice to see you here. Hello David. How
are you?" said Alewka.
The boys offered their greetings and everyone sat down
for coffee.
"So, Tom, Tim, how do you like being
uncles?" asked David.
"Fine, I guess?" came the answer in unison.
"We have not even seen our niece, David. We have to
get down to the village and have a look." said Tim.
"Well Tim! It isn't as if you can't get there in quick
time." observed David.
"Yeah. I know. We have just been busy." said Tom.
"Why don't you come back home with us, and stay
awhile? I'll bet your sister would like that." asked David.
"That's a good idea. I think we will." said Tim, speaking
for both of them.
"Good then. When we're set to go we'll go
together." said David.
Mae was explaining to Alewka the events of the day
earlier experienced.
Alewka was empathetic. She could see things like this
happening in the Wiley family. That was just a casual
outsiders observation of the family.
No one had heard from Frank in years. Beyond
recognizing that, there was no conversation about him.

own candles. Next, everyone takes a trip to the store

bill. On the way home, a discussion develops over
