When You've Had Enough!

A couple with three children waited in line at
San Francisco's Pier 41 to purchase tickets for a boat
trip to Alcatraz. Others watched with varying degrees of
sympathy and irritation as the young children fidgeted,
whined, and punched one another. The frazzled
parents reprimanded them to no avail.
Finally they reached the ticket window. "Five tickets,
please," the father said. "Two round trip, three one way."
Boy! There are times in life when one feels like doing
just what the couple above are thinking. I can remember
times, too, when I wanted to do that with other people's
kids. Funny isn't it how at just certain points in your life
there appears to be no room or tolerance for this kind
of behavior.
I also know the frustrations that come from having little
or no money, and being disabled, by illness or bodily
injury. The condition plays such an important part in our
subconscious we are not able to truly think clearly. As a
result we become frustrated beyond measure with
reaching no success in our efforts.
There are times, too, when things you have been working
on just haven't gone right. It could be a work related task,
a relationship, teaching someone to do things, anything,
and it isn't going right. That can be a pain in the "you
know where".
Time to relax folks. When this happens it is the universe
telling you to back off. Note, I did not say quit. I said back
off. It is time for you to realize you have planted the seed
and now you must back off and give it time to grow a little.
Then you can come back in and give it water, or feed it.
Some things just don't go well when you are at it 24/7.
Scripturally we are admonished to take at least one day
a week off. According to scripture that day is for worship.
Yet, like so many of the laws that came out of the old
testament this one, too, is for one's own good health.
Taking time away from one's task is a means of giving
you psychological rest. It gives your mind time to go to
work and come up with new ideas.
That is why the one who is calm and spends daily time in
meditation often gets ahead faster than those who are
out there hitting it all the time. Follow the laws. You need
mental and spiritual rest, if you would succeed.
So remember, take it easy, back off - - -

I love the idea how police are trained to detect counterfeit
money. They are taught to recognize it by spending the vast
majority of their time seeing and feeling the legal bills. Once
they become familiar with the good ones, they are innocently
introduced to the counterfeit bills. These are now easy to spot.
The student is now confidently recognizing the real ones and the
fake ones stand out. Why is this important? How can you fix
something if you don't know how it works or what it is supposed
to do?
You want to learn the truth about your body. What it's all about
(anatomy). How it's meant to function (physiology). Once you put
this information together, it will then be much easier to
recognize "ill" or negative results. Your corrective action will
present itself. Be confident in its functions. In the vast
majority of people, the vital organs are of similar size. They
are definitely of similar actions or behaviors. So consider
yourself normal and learn to use this information. It can make
your life either very, very good or very bad. The choice is
yours and no one else's. So often we blame others for our
results. But in our bodies, the only person who can possibly be
responsible is that individual. No one forces you to drink a
super sugar-loaded drinks or high salt content fries. Someone
may cajole or shame you, but you do the swallowing. Let me
encourage you to at least become aware of this "distinction". As
part of this anatomy and physiology "lesson", I am also
mentioning the connection to the aging process and how it
differs from the degenerative process. These are important
issues to learn and then to apply if you wish to live a healthy
lifestyle.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

The month had been a rat race. Ben Striker had
brought in the new man and finally turned over control
of the Pinehill Police Department to him, but aside from
that, there was an endless round of farewell parties.
Well wishers had appeared in the Police Station nearly
every day since Ben had announced his retirement.
Over the last three months he had been asked out to
dinners and meetings at nearly every service club in
town, where their members all conveyed their
appreciation for his service.
Ben was nearly partied out. He had not expected this
reaction from the citizens of Pinehill. He thought he would
be able to be at home without interference, but everyday
his days were interrupted with someone wanting something.
Finally he phoned Sam. "Sam, I can't get anywhere on the
project I want to work on. I am continually interrupted and
bothered. Do you have any suggestions?"
Sam knew Ben was working on his commitment to higher
law. "Yes, Ben, I do. Tell Helen you are leaving for a while,
with me. You can tell her your purpose, but let her know
you will not return until you succeed. I'll have Alewka spend
some time with her, to keep her company. Bear in mind,
Ben, I will take you somewhere where there will be no
return unless you accomplish higher law. If you are not
willing to run this risk, don't come with me. Understand?"
"Yes, Sam. Let's go." Ben Striker was another who was sick
and tired of living according to the ways of man. He saw
his own weakness that day he threatened Darryl Sparks,
over at the Henry's. He had then committed himself to higher
law and in the meantime had experienced nothing but
difficulty trying to put his mind to the matter. He had committed
a long time ago and Ben Striker never let a commitment go
without finishing it, never.
"I'll tell Helen right now, Sam. You come over as soon as
you are able." said Ben.
Sam Henry was over at the Striker's within the hour.
"Ben, are you sure you want to do this?" asked Helen.
"Yes, honey. I have thought about it for a long time now.
Sam Henry is a friend of mine and I know he will steer me
straight. You know this is the right move and while I know I
cannot force you to think likewise, I am asking you to think
of this matter for your life, too." said Ben.
"How long will you be?" asked Helen, looking both at Ben
and at Sam.
"I don't know honey. All I know is I will not be home until I
succeed. I don't care how much time that takes. That is
the way I want my life to go." Ben was firm and spoke with
the authority he had learned over so many years in
police work.
He gave Helen a kiss. "Okay, then. I wish you well. I will
look forward to your return. Enjoy." she said.
Ben and Sam vanished, right from the Striker's living room.
They reappeared in a warm place in front of a large body
of water. It was obviously tropical from the jungle growth
behind them. There was an old and aging makeshift shack
that was coming apart, off to their right, about ten yards or
so. Someone had used this place to live some time ago,
but there were no signs of current habitation.
"This is where Eloise, David and Boolanga stayed on
Eloise's first trip here. This is where Boolanga learned to
live by higher law. It was near here that Mr. Gladstone
dropped them off and left them, without directions, money
or food. The kids had to learn to fend for themselves. For a
while Eloise left David and came here. She thought it best
for her survival. Later she went back to get David, who was,
by then, nearly dying of poison from an infected wound.
That's a long story, but here is where they stayed until the
day they decided to return home." said Sam, "This place
has good vibes, Ben. I brought you here because of that.
There will be no interruptions here. You will be able to deal
with yourself. I will stay for a couple days."
"You mean you intend to leave me here in the condition
Eloise was in? No food?" asked Ben.
"Worry not your head about such matters Ben. You will be
looked after. Concentrate, instead, on the purpose of our
journey." answered Sam. "You see that lake? It is formed
because of all the water from the rainy season, just passed.
In the months ahead that will turn into a large meadow. Over
there, is a waterfall, and about five hundred miles that way
is where Eloise lives. Let's get this camp in order and then
we can do some looking around."

formula is working for her. All is going according to plan.
The lady I was speaking with is sending out 6 introductory
letters, with out proprietary material, each day. She is following
up on those she sent last week, by phone, and finding she is
getting one appointment for each 7 phone calls. It is new to
her yet, so we discussed the following possibilities:
6 letters each business day = approx. 132 per month
(there is an average of 22 business days a month)
132 contacts that lead to 1 appointment for each 7 phoned =
19 sales calls to parties who already know what you are
selling and want to see you.
Of the 19 it is presently estimated she will sell 10 and as her
expertise develops she will sell more.
At that rate she will have a $500.00 per month expense
account in 10 months and a new car paid for by the company,
in 12 months, plus enjoying an income of $8000.00 U.S. per
month. She is one excited sales person.
