Did Saint Patrick really drive the snakes out of Ireland?

Pure blarney! There is no evidence to support this legend
and the story didn't appear until hundreds of years after
his death.

What does kissing the Blarney Stone do for you?

According to Irish legend, if you kiss the Blarney Stone,
you'll receive the gift of eloquence. The stone, in the village
of Blarny, Cook County, Ireland, is not easy to kiss, however.
You have to hang upside down to do it.

TITLE ARTICLE - - -

Around The Net

Here we have an article from eMarketerDaily. it is about
VoIP, the telephone over the internet phenomenon that
is happening. While not yet fully deployed it is my opinion
this technology will hurt the telephone companies bad.
So look for some serious competition in the way of
phone bill prices and services. Here is the article ...

Wireless VoIP on the Way
Published: February 10, 2005

Wireless, Wi-Fi and VoIP technologies are by now
enjoying widespread adoption, so it's inevitable that
some users have already begun to look for ways to
combine these technologies into a single device.

The result could be a major shift in how people use
mobile devices to make calls. Instead of using a
mobile phone provider, consumers and businesses
could access the Web through their phone and make
calls through a VoIP provider, saving money in the
process. It could also have a large impact on laptop
use, transforming the device not only into an Internet
access port, but also a portable communications
device.

In a recent report on the subject, Richard Webb, Directing
Analyst for Infonetics Research, comments on this
possibility: "Voice over wireless Internet devices have
the potential to be a hugely disruptive technology, too.
One big factor is the low cost of calling, especially long
distance, overseas, and during peak hours. The
traditional model of time and distance-based pricing for
voice calls will be eroded by VoIP, and as VoIP goes
wireless, this will present a challenge not only to fixed
line operators, but to mobile operators as well."

The market is still young, as data from Infonetics indicates.
For example, dual-mode Wi-Fi/cellular handsets became
available in the fourth quarter of 2004, and there have
only been a bit more than 8,000 units sold. Revenues for
these devices totaled $6.6 million worldwide in 2004.

According to In-Stat, by 2009, 12% of all cellular subscribers,
or over 256 million subscribers worldwide, will have WLAN
capabilities on their device, and the number using the
service for voice will be higher than the number using it
for data only.

Businesses have begun to notice the potential of merging
the technologies, and are particularly interested in using
VoIP on Wi-Fi enabled laptops or PDAs. Research firm
In-Stat finds that 23% of decision makers at over 300
medium- and large-sized enterprises have already
deployed wireless VoIP in some manner, and an
additional 30% say they plan to in the next 6 to
12 months.

HOW TO CHOOSE A NUTRITIONAL
SUPPLEMENT: A "Multivitamin" Safely And Wisely
Part 4 of 5

Understanding Free Radicals, Oxidative Stress, And
Degenerative Conditions: Finding Help That Might Reverse
The Effects These Could Be Having On Your Life

Are There Expiration Dates On The Bottle?
The potency has to remain past the expiration date.

Does The Label Say "Natural"? (Did you know that it is legal
to say 100% natural, even though they just have 4% of the
natural product in the container? Are mushrooms natural?
Beware of the term.)

Are the supplements complete and balanced? "A supplement
must supply in the correct balance and at potential shown
to promote lifelong health. Avoid nutritional fads - insist on
balance, completeness, and quality. Your health depends
on it." Lyle MacWilliam

They should be providing all of the essential nutrients to the
cell at optimal levels, not RDA levels. Incidentally you will
not find a manufacturer going to al the trouble of meeting
strict regulations and standards voluntarily, and not apply
these parameters or guidelines to all the other products.
That would be foolish and a waste of money. After you
have chosen the foundational products, stay with the same
company for all your other needs. You have already
done your research.

Why Shouldn't You Buy On Price?
Recognize that price doesn't dictate quality and safety. Be
aware that the cost of the scientific manufacturing does
increase the cost. So don't give your body's nutritional
needs to the lowest-priced bottle

Does The Company Do It's Own "In-House" Manufacturing?
It may be fine for your mushrooms to come from a generic
manufacturing location, but it's important that your
supplement can be checked and validated at every point.
Trust the process. Your health is at stake.

Does The Company Encourage Independent Testing?
The more objective and professional processes the
company participates in, the better the end product.
Does the company provide technical support?

Is There A 1 800 Number On The Container? If you had
a reaction to the product, you need to be able to contact
them. So the number is important. They will not be able
to give you any medical advice, but they can give you
all the answers to these questions.

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby

--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts

The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many
adventures and many places.
As you read enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

This was one of those special moments lovers
have. They were having real soul felt fun with
each other. The noise they were making was drawing
attention. Soon there were folks from lots of the
suites in the complex standing at pools edge or up
on the upper balcony just watching and enjoying
the fun two lovers can have. Everyone knew what
was up. Many had gone through it themselves. It
was a joy to watch the two young adults play.

The pair swam to the shallow end and just lay
there in the water, catching their breath and
laughing. Then they became aware of their
audience.

A cheer went up from the crowd. There was
clapping, hollering and cheering. The crowd had
witnessed the chase, the catch, the dunking, the
use of higher law to evade one another and finally
the laughter and embrace when, without words,
there was the mutual realization the chase was
over.

Sharon was a bit embarrassed. Her cheeks were
now red not only from the exertion of the chase
but from her embarrassment. Tim laughed, then
stood up. and bowed to the crowd. That sent up
more cheers. It was a good time. The pair got out
of the pool and began to walk up to the suite. The
onlookers once more blended back into their
suites. When they were nearly at Sharon's suite
Tim gave her a short whack on the back of her
legs. With a squeal she was off and running once
more. Getting to the suite first she ran inside,
slammed the door and locked it, laughing.

She had forgotten that Tim lived by higher
law. When she turned around from the door, there
he was. Again she squealed. He had her. He wrapped
his arms around her tight and she couldn't move.
She was laughing so hard it was a good thing he
was holding her for she could hardly stand.

Tim was becoming conscious of her body next to
his. He was beginning to respond. He gently let
her go. She knew, too, for she, also, was wanting
him. Yet the pair of them had made a pact with
each other that they would wait until they were
properly living together. They wanted to marry
before they culminated their relationship in sex.
Each wanted the other, but they knew of the
rewards in store for them when they refrained from
sex until after marriage. They wanted to be able
to hold their heads high, to enjoy the honor that
goes with restraint and self discipline, the
respect they would hold for each other if they
followed their pact.

This was no religious thing, no moral thing.
It had nothing to do with the whims of society or
any church dictates. It sprung from the clear
realization of knowing the rewards that come from
self discipline. They knew this and arbitrarily
chose to enjoy those rewards for a lifetime rather
than satisfy their lust now. They also were keenly
aware of the law "As ye sow, so shall ye reap."
They wanted full measure of satisfaction from the
law rather than momentary, fleeting pleasure of
this instant.

"What's on TV? I know you said there wasn't
much but we need something to keep us out of
trouble. You're just too tasty, too appealing for
me to keep my hands off you."

"Oh!" She slapped him on his arm, "You're just
a big chicken!" She laughed and got up to leave
for she suspected he was going to take up the
challenge.

Tim did. He reached for her but she was too
quick. He just missed her. She squealed and ran.
She got behind the table and did her best to keep
the table between them, dodging from side to side.

Tim could see he would not be able to catch
her for as he went one way she went the opposite.
The table between them was an obstacle she has in
her favor. Then he just stood up straight and
began to walk directly toward her, right through
the table.

"Eeeeks! Tim! What are you doing?" Sharon
yelled and laughed. She knew what Tim was doing,
she just didn't expect it. She ran again. She was
now laughing so hard she could hardly see out of
her eyes for they were tearing. Also she now knew
there was nowhere else to run. She ended up in the
bedroom with the bed momentarily between them.

Tim started to slowly move around the bed
toward her. He had now lifted up his shoulders and
put his arms out slightly to look as if he were a
mean, ugly ogre. He, too, was laughing.

Sharon squealed and jumped up on the bed to
get to the other side but Tim was too fast for
her. He caught her leg and she fell headlong onto
the bed. In a flash he was on her and had her
pinned down. The more she squealed and wriggled in
an effort to get away, the harder he pinned her.

Finally, laughing, and plain exhausted from
the effort and the laughter, she quite. Tim
allowed her to turn over on her back, but he was
sitting on her legs so she couldn't use them as
weapons, and he was holding her hands for the same
reason.

TODAY'S REPORT:

I'm not sure you guys will believe this, but I have decided to
take guitar lessons. I have always wanted to be able to play
some music and I had a whim one day and made the
decision. Today is my lesson day and I will continue until I
can play in a pleasing manner. Boy! My wife has lots of
patience. You can imagine the terrible sounds she must
put up with as I am learning this thing. One thing I have
already noticed is that my finger tips are sure sore. Oh well!
That's the price you pay for one's whims I guess.

HA! HA! HA!

After learning the Lamaze method of natural childbirth, I
was admitted to the delivery room with my wife.

It seemed like an eternity before the doctor finally
announced, "I've got the head now; just a few more
minutes."

"Is it a girl or boy?" I asked excitedly.

The doctor replied, "I don't know. It's hard to
tell by the ears."

Use a quiet time each day to think of your objective.
