What is a "red dog"?

You Don't Have To Fool Them!

My grandfather worked in a blacksmith shop when he
was a boy, and he used to tell me, when I was a little boy
myself, how he had toughened himself up so he could
stand the rigors of blacksmithing.
One story was how he had developed his arm and
shoulder muscles. He said he would stand outside behind
the house and, with a 5 pound potato sack in each hand,
extend his arms straight out to his sides and hold
them there as long as he could.
After awhile he tried 10 pound potato sacks, then
50 pound potato sacks and finally he got to where he
could lift a 100 pound potato sack in each hand and hold
his arms straight out for more than a full minute!
Next, he started putting potatoes in the sacks.
Wow! I love this joke. Here he is leading us on to thinking
grandfather is quite a weight lifter, until the last line, then
he gives us the truth. A surprise wasn't it.
You know that's a good way of developing your marketing,
or of getting attention, or of capturing the attention of others.
But it has a downside if you aren't real careful. You can
get their interest, but you don't have to fool them. If you
do, then make one hundred and ten percent sure you
are completely genuine and legitimate.
Folks will accept being played with if the fun leads to a
lesson or benefit. It backfires if it does not, for then you
make them look like the fool.
So, when using humor to attract attention, to make a sale
or to make a point, make sure there is a lesson or a truth
within the humor. Do not use humor at the expense of
anyone. Use it to teach.
Practical jokers are fun for about the first joke. Thereafter
they become boring fast. But a joke used to progress
conversation, where it is not a joke at anyone's expense,
can really make you an authority.
Consider that the storytellers are the ones who get their
point across. It has been that way for thousands of years.
If you want to make a point, put it in a story.
It is in the skillful weaving of that story that will bring your
prospect to the end you want him to see. So tell stories.

Meniere's Syndrome
"Meniere's" is a condition affecting the
nerves of one or both inner ears.
PART 2 of 5
Why do some people get this? This is seen as a degenerative
condition. This is not part of the normal aging process
(otherwise we would all be getting this). That means something
has worn down or been damaged. Most people get some or all of
these symptoms in different degrees or intervals at some point
in their lives and think nothing of it. With Meniere's
sufferers, these "normal" activities seem to be hindered,
impaired, or completely incorrect. So messages are either not
going to be received correctly or will it be misinterpreted and
returned with a false command, because the nerves that should be
receiving the "information" are not healthy (for whatever
reason). Your may not think very much about these symptoms until
you have someone close to you do something very strange. But I
would like to be just a bit clearer, so if you ever have an
occasion to see this in real life, your reactions will be
sympathetic, helpful, and resourceful. For instance, being able
to hear someone speak (acoustic) to you one minute and not being
able to hear them at all the next second, is rather unnerving
and distressing. But standing upright one minute and finding
yourself on the floor, cut over an eye, is entirely another
shocker! This is not a conscious or chosen activity. The person
simply has no control over the episode. Something at that point
has disturbed the inner ear's balance nerve, in a very direct
and severe way.
Causes? There are many theories, and none are definite. Some of
the medical community feels this is the body working against
itself (auto-immune), others feel it's a virus, and many just
feel it's there because something has damaged the inner ear
nerves or tissue. It's virtually impossible to take a direct
look at the inner ear's working.

made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.

The kids were playing out in the yard, under Oomano's
supervision. Abetta was cooking in the kitchen. Her Father,
Miguele, was at work, and Romano had gone somewhere
on an errand for Abetta.
"Hi Mama." said Riata, walking into the kitchen, "Got anything
to eat?" she grabbed a bit of cookie dough, only to have
Abetta chase her with a wooden spoon, laughing.
"Mama, I want you to meet Sandra. She is the lady from
Australia I went to help out. She was caught in a storm
and was delirious from an infected wound." Riata introduced
the two.
"Welcome to our home, Sandra. Has Riata told you where
you are?" asked Abetta.
"No. I just trusted her that we would be fine. Where
am I?" she asked.
"You are in the northern part of South America. This city
is on the Amazon River. Thats about six or seven thousand
miles from your home in Australia." said Abetta.
"It can't be. We got here in less than a second. It can't
be." said Sandra, surprised.
"Yes, Sandra, it is." said Riata, "You traveled this way courtesy
of higher law. Now I would like you to sit at the table and
get each of us a drink of cool clear water."
"How do I do that?" asked Sandra.
"Sandra, last night, in your dream, you crossed over to the
spiritual side of life. You know how to manifest water, for
you did it in your dream. Just do it again." said Riata.
In a very short while there were three glasses of cool clear
water on the table.
"See? You did just what you will always do. You saw what
you wanted. You saw where you wanted it and you believed
it would be there. Guess what? That is all there is
to it." explained Riata, "Well done."
"I can't believe it. Look, three glasses of water. How did I
do that?" Sandra asked.
"When you think of a glass of water you, in your mind, actually
hold up a picture to the ethers, a spiritual framework, so to
speak. Hold it there long enough and know it will be, causes
the molecules to form and the water and the glass are both
manifested. When we are finished with the water, you can
make them disappear the same way. If you want the glass
to remain full, no matter how much one drinks, you can do
that too." answered Riata.
"Oh! I'm going to like this." said Sandra.
"You bet! It makes life a lot easier. Remember we spoke of
you no longer needing money? Do you now know what I
mean?" asked Riata.
"I think so, Riata. I don't need money because I can manifest
the things I would buy with the money?" said Sandra.
"That's right! There is no place you will need
money." said Riata.
"What else can I do?" asked Sandra.
"Do you remember, in your dream, how Sadhu said you
were to help others less fortunate? Well, that is what you
can do. One day, likely often, you will be called to go help
someone in need, even as I was called to help you. It will
be your job to go to the aid of the person or situation. There
you will do whatever is necessary to resolve the issue of the
moment and return home, without receiving thanks. You
will have to travel, learn to remain invisible, manifest yourself
when needed, and otherwise do all that must be done. The
first few times you will be asked to go where there are others
to show you the way. Soon, though, you will be asked to go
alone. It will all work out." said Riata.
"Hi Sis! Come over here and meet Sandra. She is from
Australia." said Riata as Oomnao came into the house.
"Those kids. They are a never ending bundle of energy. Hi
Sandra. Welcome to our house. How do you like traveling
by higher law?" asked Oomano.
"Hi Oomano. Wow! It's fast, and easy. Are you also a
master?" asked Sandra.
"Yes. All who live by higher law are known as masters. It
only means they appear to have mastered the universe. It
really only means they have learned to master their
own minds." said Oomano.
