known as "negligible senescence." They increase in

reaching maturity, but show no evidence of "senescence," a
fancy word for "aging." Turtles DO die, of course. Eventually,
they'll be taken out by disease, injury, or predators, but there
have been reports of turtles living more than 100 or even
200 years!

Working from Home!

So, you?re interested in starting a home business?
How can you make it happen?
Many people only dream of working from home and
don?t think it?s really possible for them to do
so. Sometimes it?s the fear of failure that holds
people back.
I?m here to tell you IT IS possible and you
can make money and enjoy working form home, you
just have to be willing to try.
First of all, you have to have a business idea.
Let?s look at some legitimate home business ideas
to begin with; let?s get some ideas going here?
Web design, Graphic design, Internet marketing,
Secretarial Service, Medical Transcriptionist,
Home Parties, (there?s lots of these around and
you can definitely make good money if you stick
with them), Pet Sitting, Errand Runner, Copywriter,
Real Estate, Photographer, Caterer, Furniture Maker,
Candle Making, Wedding Consultant, Computer Tuition,
Music Lessons, Insurance Agent.
There?s loads more, but as you can see, it is
possible to find something you enjoy that can be a
great home business. You might have to take some
classes to begin with if you don?t have a skill. It
depends what you are looking for.
The trick with any home business is to ease your
way into one. Keep your regular job while you
?develop? your home business. Start your business
part-time and let it build. When it reaches the point
where you are making enough money, you can quit your
regular job. This way, you won?t be taking risks and
depending on a new business to support you right away.
All the above mentioned businesses are relatively low cost
start-up businesses. Forget having to invest hundreds of
thousands just to start your own business. Some of the
most successful businesses were started on a shoe-string, or
thereabouts?
So now you?ve got some ideas, what else do you need?
You need DISCIPLINE AND MOTIVATION. That?s as important
as your business idea. You need to be a go-getter kind
of person to have your own business. You need to be willing
to get things off the ground yourself, and often willing to
work for no financial return at first, or very little financial
return. It helps to have vision; you have to sow the seeds
to see the flowers. Overnight success is quite rare.
You can help yourself stay motivated by making a ?to do list?,
and ?working your business? every day in some small or big
way. It doesn?t really matter as long as you have a ?plan? and
keep chipping away at it until it happens.
You hear people say all the time that you need to set your
goals, well you do, and a ?to do list? will enable you to
cross off things as you work through them, giving you a
feeling of accomplishment as well.
Okay, what else do you need?
CONFIDENCE
As you begin starting your own business, you may come
across negative people who will discourage you and make you
feel less confident. You must ignore these people and only
let yourself focus on the positive. One day these people will
eat their words. Try to find people who want the same out of
life as you do and mix with them. If you can, find yourself
a mentor in the field you are going in to. This is a great
help. You will be able to stay motivated about your future
goals if you have someone to share them with. A mentor will
also give you insights into your business and hopefully share
with you how to avoid certain mistakes along the way.
The last thing you need is FAITH ? in yourself. So go ahead,
start a home business ? You won?t look back!

Adding a picture of yourself to your User Account isn't tough,
provided that you have a image of yourself stored on your
computer.
Click the Start button, choose Control Panel, and
select User Accounts. Then click Change My Picture.
Choose an existing picture or choose Browse for More
Pictures. If you choose the Browse option, your My Pictures
folder opens up, showing its contents. Locate your saved
picture, click its name, and click Open.
Windows now puts it on your account.

MEDICAL COLUMN - - - -
Meniere's Syndrome
"Meniere's" is a condition affecting the
nerves of one or both inner ears.
PART 4 of 5
Why does it affect people differently? Why is it more severe in
some and not in everyone?
As mentioned previously, the symptoms can vary in intensity and
severity. You have to realize that the human body is different
for each person, so their reactions are completely "their own"
No one CHOOSES to have these symptoms, and they cannot predict
or prevent them.
How did it gets this unusual name?
"Meniere" was a French physician who recognized the group of
common symptoms and gave them his name. It is sometimes easier
for the medical community to give things a name and then
everyone can recognize the required treatment and follow through
quickly without further testing.
Prognosis: what's in store for the Meniere's sufferer?
Most doctors, after exhausting their "traditional" medical
treatments, will tell the person they "have to just live with
it".an immensely difficult and depressing "treatment"! Often
this is seen or discussed as "all being in your head" or having
an over-active imagination! How wrong that is! These symptoms
are as real as having appendicitis: yet it's not recognized the
same way.
This condition has a negative affect on the entire family. Not
only does the person have the attack and knows the very real
loss of control and dignity, but they are also afraid to move in
case any movement will set off even a more severe episode.
Frequently they are speaking to a person that can't hear them
very well, in either one or both ears. That's very frustrating
and tiring. They feel physically exhausted and mentally
terrified. Each episode's onset is so completely out of their
control and can come quickly without any warning. People who are
not familiar with this condition tend to avoid Meniere's
sufferers, thinking they are drunk or dangerous. How sad and
incorrect a perception!

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

"This is neat!" said Pietro, Romano's little brother.
The children were enthralled. For a lesson in natural
history they could not have had better. Oomano wondered
why she did not do this more often. From here on she
would.
They spent the entire afternoon there, walking, looking,
seeking. Their fascination never waned for one minute.
And they were all disappointed when it came time to
leave.
"I think it is time to go home, guys!" said Oomano.
She got what all children, of all ages, in all parts of the
world give, "Aaaaawh! Do we have to?"
"We will do this more often, guys. I enjoyed it too. We
will be back one day. What do you say to Sandra?"
They all thanked Sandra.
"You are welcome. I think I must go back to my camp
now where your Aunt Riata found me. I have much to
think about." said Sandra.
Turning to Riata, she approached and gave her a hug.
Whispering, she said "Thank you for all you have done."
"You are welcome Sandra. Fear not I will see you soon.
Remember, if you need me all you need do is think of me,
then call. I will come." responded Riata.
With that. they all joined hands and in that instant they
were home, in the yard, just in time to hear Abetta
call "Supper!"
They all went tearing into the house as enthusiastic
and animated as ever. The supper table was alive with
conversation about their journey. The adults just looked
on and smiled, answering questions and nodding or
saying yes whenever they were invited to participate.
The kids were some excited this night.
"So you liked going to Australia?" said Miguele, starting
to tease.
The kids, in one voice answered "Yes."
"I think you guys are fooling me. All they have over there
is desert and ocean. They don't have the things you are
telling me about. That must be somewhere else." he said.
"Noooooooo!" came the reply.
"I've been to Australia, and I didn't see any animals
bouncing around. I didn't see any ground hog with the
nose of a duck. I didn't see any flightless bird that stood
six feet tall. You guys are pulling my leg. I think you're
teasing me." he said.
The kids left their chairs and jumped on him. This was
all part of a ritual they played out many times when
Miguele decided to tease them. "Papa, you're teasing
us. You have never been to Australia. If you didn't see
what we told you then you haven't gone. You're teasing
us!" and they were pummeling him, laughing all the way.
Miguele faked falling off his chair, and they jumped him on
the floor. They all had a wonderful time. He was good with
them and he always enjoyed teasing them if he got a chance.
They loved him dearly.
"Come on you guys! Time to clean up the table and get
to our chores." said Oomano.
With that the kids got up off Miguele and began cleaning
the table. They took turns washing and drying dishes and
cleaning up after supper. The younger ones prepared to
go to bed so there was an orderly procession to and from
the bathroom. The older ones would proceed in order.
There were no fights, no fooling around. All was orderly.
They were still talking amongst themselves about their
trip today.
"I guess that was the right thing to do!" said Oomano. They'll
remember that for a while.
"I hope Sandra enjoyed her visit, Riata." said Abetta, sipping
on her coffee.
"I am sure she did Mama. She now has a lot to think about.
She just learned higher law. Her life went through a major
change yesterday. She will have to work with it a little to get
used to it. I'll go visit her again in a couple days to see how
she is getting on." replied Riata.
"Who is Sandra?" asked Miguele.
"She is the one I went to help Papa, when you and I were
last talking, remember?" said Riata.
