Networking & A Personal Touch
(?What I Do ?Is Not? Who I Am?)

Ah, the personal touch that continues to make a big
difference, for the better in our lives and the lives of those,
who have an opportunity to experience a personal
touch from us.
If networking and effective communication are
centered on other people, can we effectively network
or communicate without the help of other people?
For the sake of argument, let us define networking as:
finding out what another individual wants or needs
and then fulfilling the want or need of the other person.
People want to know that their existence makes a
difference.
The term often used, "dissed", meaning an individual
feels disrespected by another might seem petty to us
but it is usually very real to the individual complaining.
An example, my friend Bill a Plumber who is financially
set for many years to come doesn't always get properly
acknowledged. We all realize that there is nothing
we can do without the help of other people. Yet, in Bill's
profession he is not always highly respected. This
is because society has taught us to value the title
of the individual and not the individual.
Let us take responsibility for going back to the basics
and simply treating people like we ourselves would
like to be treated. We will never know who can help
us until that time comes.
Really, it doesn?t take much imagination for us to
think of ways a Plumber can make us look good or
bad and we know bad can be real ugly when it comes
to our toilet and stopped up kitchen sink. All of a
sudden Bill is Mr. Bill, Sir.
Bill may not remember what you said to him, what
you did to him, but Bill will remember how you made
him feel. If you didn't know that Bill Gates was
Bill Gates of Microsoft, how would you treat Bill?
Bill the Plumber today could easily be Bill the owner
of a multi-billion dollar enterprise tomorrow! By the
way, where is Bill? I think Bill was President of the
United States for a while. He sure made people feel
good. My guess, he?ll always have a position of choice!

Word 2002
Changing or editing a document template in Word 2002 is identical
to changing or editing any document. The difference is that you
open a template rather than a document.
Open the template by choosing File, and then Open.
In the Open dialog box, choose Document Templates from
the Files of type drop-down list.
Find the Templates folder.
(You need to go to the Templates folder by choosing
drive C from the Look in drop-down list, opening the
WINDOWS folder, Application Data folder, Microsoft
folder, Templates folder.)
Open the template you want to edit.
Double-click its filename.
Now make your changes.
Save the modified template by choosing File, Then Save. Or,
choose File, Save As to assign the modified template a
new name and maintain the original template.
And then File, Close.

Stress And How It Affects Your Physical Body
A Few Ideas To Enhance Your Fitness Level.

Let me give you another example that is a twist to "cause and
effect" and decision-making or choices. A few days ago, I
listened to a talk show. A caller asked how he could prevent his
two daughters from becoming the "door mat' his wife was. He
didn't want that future for them. He told us that he and his
wife had made a decision to share all the household tasks. Both
worked and she felt overwhelmed with the load of
responsibilities she had for the family and her job. I applauded
silently as this husband shared this beautiful scenario of how
they would share this workload. But here is the twist...he then
added that if he felt he didn't want to do continue this longer
than the three-month trial, he would stop! Cause and effect! I
wonder if his wife had some negotiating power AND boundaries.
Some decisions are made silently without any thought for who
else can be affected. Hopefully this one would be negotiated.
The more additional experiences you have, the more they shape
your personal choices. It's those experiences that help you to
grow and upgrade. As you grow, your horizon broadens. And your
confidence grows. And your body learns that life isn't scary or
to be feared. Isn't it a whole lot better to realise that the
goal posts are always changing and so are you...with positive
anticipation than to accept fear and defeat? Acknowledge that
the long-term effects of this kind of conflict cause
hypertension and other health problems. So when you start to
build in some powerful de-stressors or protectors, it's worth
going through some of the short-term stress. Welcome your
experiences, but be discerning in what you commit to. If you
really want to do it, have your rules (boundaries) ready and use
them. Understand that every action has a built-in cause and
effect. And know that whatever decisions you make, are
"sanctioned" by you: not someone else. Welcome each "growth
opportunity": it will build up your confidence. Learn to let the
negatives roll off your back like the ducks do with water. At
some point you will suddenly like and welcome any tasks because
you know you can do anything!

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

"Reno will teach those who wish to learn. She will take
over where I left off." said Riata, broadcasting love unto
each one present. They all absorbed the love and knew
what she said would happen.
Within fifteen minutes Maria Sanchez came running into
the orphanage from her usual method of entry, the rear.
She came running up to Reno. "Reno! Are you alright?
I heard there was some disturbance here. They said
a little girl put a stop to it. The crowds made it sound
as if your life was in danger. Are you alright?"
The crowd of kids had split to allow Maria to see Reno
and let her in. They knew Maria was close to Reno.
"I am fine, am I not?" Reno stated calmly.
Maria looked up and saw Riata. Then she bowed to
both of them.
"Maria, rise. There is no need to bow." said Reno.
"But your countenance. It's shining with a light that feels
holy. It is beautiful." said Maria.
"She is fine, Maria." said Riata.
"I must leave now. I send my love and blessings unto
all of you." and with that she did. Then she slowly vanished.
Suddenly there was a loud murmur and ruckus outside
front. The kids went to see.
There were newspeople clammering to get in. They
were pushing and shoving their way through the crowds,
caring not for whom they pushed.
Three of the older boys moved, with purpose, out front.
One stepped forward.
"Halt" Amenti spoke quietly but with such authority the
crowd stood still.
They murmured "Not another one?"
The reporters stood in their tracks.
"You have no right here before those who have waited
hours. Your selfish ways are the ways of the world and
shall not be rewarded here this day. Turn and
leave" he said.
"Look here! You can't talk to us that way young man.
We're reporters and we have a right to be here to report
any goings on that happen." said one of the more
pushy ones.
Amenti held up his hands palms forward and sent a
beam of love unto the man.
He immediately crumbled. His aggressiveness had been
turned against him. He felt as ill as he had felt powerful
earlier.
Another spoke up in his place. The same thing happened.
Finally Amenti broadcast love unto all of them and all
forgot their purpose. They became confused and stumbled,
limped and otherwise left as if they had been drinking.
The crowd continued to murmur.
Amenti held up his hands and sent love unto one and all.
Then the three of them turned to return inside.
The crowd turned silent. To them this had just become a
more holy place. That they were permitted to attend upon
the shrine when there were such powerful people inside
would have scared them all away had it not been for the
magnetic love that still permeated the air.
When the boys returned Reno went up to Amenti and
hugged him. "Yes, we need only believe." she said.
From nowhere came the thoughts unto each of them "Well
done. I am proud of you. Now, each remember the law
'As ye sow, so shall ye reap'."
They knew those words came from Riata.
"What happened here today?" asked Maria. She had
lost her reporter aggressiveness and was asking only
out of interest.
Reno took her over to the chairs, sat her down and
told her.
"Oh Reno, I love you. You are such a wonderful girl.
And so brave." she said.
