Here's To Think On ...

You Are Controlled By Your Point Of View!
Congratulating a friend after her son and daughter got
married within a month of each other, a woman asked, "What
kind of boy did your daughter marry?"
"Oh, he's wonderful," gushed the mother. "He lets her sleep
late, wants her to go to the beauty parlor regularly, and
insists on taking her out to dinner every night."
"That's nice," said the woman. "What about your son?"
"I'm not so happy about that," the mother sighed. "His wife
sleeps late, spends all her time in the beauty parlor, and
makes them eat take-out meals!"
How often do we think we work too hard? How often does a
spouse of someone else, significant in your life, think you
aren't even getting fifty cents an hour for the time you put
into your internet business? How many complaints do you get
that we, or I, hardly ever see you because you are always on
that darn computer?
I presume all of you get a little bit of this. What concerns
me is how does that affect your attitude, or theirs?
You will note by the joke that one woman was very pleased
her daughter found a man who would do all these things for
her. The other woman appears down in the dumps because he
married a woman who appears to be somewhat of a leach.
Each of these women have choices to make, and so do you, and
those around you. Each may choose to be happy or sad,
enthusiastic or depressed, keen or down.
The choice you make is yours, and is in no way influenced by
outside circumstances. You decide how happy you are going to
be, no one else. The responsibility is yours alone.
Some of you might be saying depression is a medical
condition, it can't be helped. I've got news for you. Your
Maker made a body that is perfect, and will do incredible
things to stay perfect. If you have overwhelmed it with
improper foods, drinks and intakes of all kinds, for years,
you may well find you have the medical condition called
depression. I have more news for you. Should you decide to
eat, drink and otherwise ingest the right food and
beverages, in the right order and at the right time, your
body will take less than a month to tell you it's coming
back.
You see, choices. How you decide will affect your life for
good or bad. The choices are up to you, not doctors, spouses
or bosses. Take charge of your own life. When you do, you
can then make choices that make you happy. When you spread
that happiness around you find all sorts of reasons to be
even happier.
Bear in mind, too, how you like to be around someone who is
always complaining, someone who is always down. Don't you
take steps to avoid contact? If you are this way, guess what
people are doing when you come around? They, too, take steps
to get away from you. Who wants to be around someone who
isn't happy, genuinely?
I have more news for you. Happiness comes before success.
Learn this and you will be amazed at how easy it is to be
successful.
The choices are yours. The responsibility is exclusively
yours. Your life is under your control whether you exercise
that control or not. In man's world it is said that
ignorance of the law is no excuse. So, too, with your
Maker's laws. If you have taken no time to discover them,
that will in no way affect how they perform in your life.
You must make the choice to be happy. From that will come
all the other things you are looking for.

MEDICAL COLUMN - - - -
by Karin Henderson
Don't Read This Unless Your
Health Is Important To You!
A while ago, researchers released results of a study that is
critically important to many of us. Basically it creates
possible links between the environment and our health,
especially cancer. Our lifestyle choices may be more
responsible for the development of cancer than our genes.
Why is this so important? BECAUSE IN THAT CASE, WE COULD DO
SOMETHING TO PREVENT IT! That way you can prevent a lot of
future grief, anxiety, and damage.
The results of this Scandinavian study were in the New
England Journal of Medicine.
http://content.nejm.org/cgi/content/short/343/2/78
Quote: "This finding indicates that the environment has the
principal role in causing sporadic cancer".
So the results of this study are music to those of us who
want to be in control of our lives. Now we know what to do
and how to go about looking after ourselves. We suspect our
water and our foods provide less than adequate nutrition and
yet we were powerless to do much. Now with confidence you
CAN create your healthy future.

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby
--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts
The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places.
The Saga Of Pinehill, The Adventure
is now in bookstores. A controversial and powerful story.
It will change your life. Go to

The group of men knew the words Billy spoke. They were
ashamed. They each knew they had not acted like men but like
a herd of ruffians, each incapable of commanding respect
alone. They knew they were using superior force to extract
the behavior they wanted from ignorant children.
The manner in which Billy spoke caused them to see and
to be ashamed. If they had the power they would have slunk
away as a snake in the grass, to avoid being seen and known
for who and what they were. Billy's talk had a way of making
them understand they, alone, were responsible for who they
were and they were painted a scene showing this image of
themselves, and they were not pleased.
Billy did not force the drinking of the liquid, except
by the headman. As he swallowed he began to throw up. He
disgorged everything that was in his stomach. It was a bad
scene as the man wretched and wretched. He got to a point of
dry heaves and still wretched.
Both Billy and Sonora knew this uprising was over. They
both knew this man or any of them would never again start a
rebellion. Indeed, if they knew of one they would attempt to
dissuade it.
"Go and be of service to your fellow man. Let not ego
rule your days, but wisdom only. Lead with love, not force.
Lead for good, not selfishness or for personal gain. Give,
don't take. This will garner more rewards than the path that
brought you here."
The men began to move to where they had clothes, and
dressed. They knew they were free to go. One of them looked
back and began to think with hatred. Immediately he doubled
over in pain. All about him knew what had happened. They
went to his aid, to no avail. The chatter between them
allowed Billy and Sonora to understand they had planted the
lessons well.
Billy and Sonora returned to the hill behind Sonora's
home. The sun was beginning to set and they enjoyed this
time of day.
He put his arm around her and she lay her head on his
shoulder. "I am glad to be with you. I am happy we can work
together for good. I love you deeply."
Sonora put her arms around him and held him tight. The
pair of them sat there for a couple hours, until the last
vestiges of light were long gone. They watched the stars and
the moon was slowly rising before their eyes. This day it
was one of those huge red balls on the horizon that appeared
easily four times as big as when it was high in the sky. The
red was from all the African dust the light had to
penetrate. Occasionally they would see a bird fly across it.
The sight was mesmerizing. It was so beautiful Billy could
hardly understand why the pair of them were alone. He
thought the entire village should be out here admiring the
view.
He turned to Sonora and gave her a long and loving kiss,
right on the lips. Sonora opened her mouth and their tongues
danced together. Their breathing became faster and ragged.
Billy lay her down on her back on the grasses and he lay
on top of her. She instantly permitted lust to take over and
she became like an animal. She thrust her groin into Billy
and wrapped her legs around him so he couldn't get away.
Billy, for his part, thrust his groin into hers. The
pair of them were groaning, moving, thrusting, murmuring
into each others ears. The passion was overpowering. The
blood was flowing through their veins a mile a minute.
He reached for her breast and she not only wanted it but
required it. He was going to reach between her legs, but he
stopped.
Breathlessly he whispered, "Sonora, honey, we can't do
this. We must wait."
"I know, Billy. I don't want to. I want you, now. Take
me Billy."
"No, Sonora, we can't. We will wait until the time is
right."
He broke the lock of her legs and rolled onto the grass
beside her. "Phew! Honey, we must not do that again. I very
nearly did not quit."
"I know. I don't want you to quit. When will you get
that through your head." To some degree she was displaying
anger. She knew he was right but she wanted him so bad she
was angry he did not fulfill her desires.
"Sweetheart, don't be angry. It was all I could do to
stop. You know we must not. We will have each other when the
time is right."
"Oh, Billy, when will that be?"
"When, maybe tomorrow, we can speak with cooler heads
and the lust we feel for each other settles, that our minds
can be clear. Then we will speak of marriage. How's that?"
"Oh, yes, Billy. Tomorrow."
The rest of the evening Billy tried to stay away from
her. She would try to get to him and kiss him. Once in a
while she caught him and she would rub her breasts against
him and her groin.
Billy knew all too well how close he had come to losing
control. He knew, too, that if she caught him he would go
all the way. She was weakening his defenses.
Finally they walked up the hill to the family hut. Billy
was hoping for all he was worth that Kenyata or Mombudo or
both were still there by the fire. They were.
As they approached the fire they both attempted to be as
calm and nonchalant as possible. Kenyata nearly slapped them
in the face, "So, can't keep your hands off each other,
hey?"
Billy was shocked. Sonora laughed.
"We know what's going on. Young lovers can't hide their
feelings for each other. My Mombudo and I were the same way
when we first met. Fear not, kids. This is good that you
feel this way. It is good you do not go all the way, and it
is good you respect each other. All will be well and one
day, soon, the time will be right."
Billy had thought their actions were not known. Kenyata
surprised him completely. He laughed.

WHY DO WE SAY IT?
Ham Actor: Why is a poor actor called a "ham"?
This theatrical slang term contemptuously applied to
low-grade actors is a shortening of the term "hamfatter".
"Hamfatter" comes from the old-tme blackface comedian's
practice of putting "ham fat" on his face-so that it would
be easy for him to remove the burnt cork after the show. All
"whiteface" actors once looked down on "blackface"
comedians; many still do.

HA! HA! HA!
An 80 year old woman was arrested for shop lifting. When she
went before the judge he asked her, "What did you steal?"
She replied: a can of peaches. The judge asked her why she
had stolen them and she replied that she was hungry. The
judge then asked her how many peaches were in the can. She
replied 6. The judge then said, "I will give you 6 days in
jail."
Before the judge could actually pronounce the punishment the
woman's husband spoke up and asked the judge if he could say
something. He said, " What is it? "
The husband said "She also stole a can of peas."

REMEMBER! - IF YOU SEE IT IN thePEBBLE - IT IS SO!
Emotions generally lead away from the life your Maker wants
for you. Before using emotions as an habitual platform from which to
make decisions you might want to go inside to commune with
your Maker. Better things are in store for those who do.
