"curse." By the way, to break something that has been
given by a lover could mean the relationship is next.
Why is it bad luck to break a mirror?
Folk legends from around the world espouse the belief
that the reflection you see in the mirror, or in a pool of water,
is actually the soul temporarily separated from the body.
To break a mirror could mean a death in the house, or at
the very least, bad luck for a long while. To look in a mirror
and NOT see your reflection is a very bad omen that
means the soul has already departed and death is certain.

Here at SubscribeMe.net we have many publishers
that are new to the online world of publishing.
Many of you have written and asked about filtering
and how to work around it.
I decided to devote some time this morning to just
that - helping you, helping all of us work around
those filters that are blocking us from reaching
our readers.
I'm subscribed to Network Newsletters (Like
Discovery TLC, CBS, TechTV). I see in these
Newsletters even they have to take precautions
when publishing. So it's not just us.
Here's what I'm presenting today:
=> Understanding Filtering
=> How filtering systems/programs work
=> Triggers (what triggers filtering)
=> Tools to check your own Ezine for triggers
=> To Do's - your subject line
=> First, understanding filtering.
Filtering was basically developed to stop Spam.
Ok, really that wasn't a bad thing - creating
filters to stop Spam. But, what they did not
take into consideration was that it would also
stop delivery of emails of valid content. Content
which we requested to receive.
Now ISPs take it upon themselves to create this
filter without first consulting us. (This is a
soapbox for another time. ;-)
But then there are filter programs that the
consumer will install within their email client
that will also block emails. However, what some
people don't realize - when they install these
they may not get the emails they want in the box.
=> How does a filter system know to block emails?
What does a filter system consider "bad" and
choose to filter that email from reaching the
inbox?
Most filter programs have a point system. They
will apply points that vary in number to each
violation.
8 points and you're out! You are filtered and
your email will not be delivered. I say 8 points
and your out - that's my personal comfort level.
Here's a simple run-down of a point system:

checking service below. It's changed over this
past year - their service.

0-5 nice and clean, no problems except tiny
ones below; no action required
5-8 the strictest may object; clean up the
easy-to-find issues
8-12 getting into dangerous territory;
clean up any big issues and the easy-to-find
smaller penalties
12-16 likely over IPSs' limits; review and
clean
16+ major problems; overhaul needed --
systematically clean, point by point and then
re-test (this may require two or three
SpamChecks).

How to Send a Web Page In Your E-mail
Any page that loads in your browser can be sent right in
your e-mail.
Go to the File menu, and click.
Then select Send,
On the flyout menu, click 'Page by e-mail'.
"File send page by email.
Your e-mail client should load automatically. You type in the
address of the person you're sending to, and when they
receive your e-mail, they have the info right there in front of
them. You can even add a message to the page if you'd like.
Now, depending on how your recipient has his e-mail client
set up, he may or may not see graphics. But the text should
be there.
OR, you can just send a link. Same as above except
click "Link by Email".

Aneurysms
A Leak In Your Circulatory System

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU SUSPECT ONE? How
is an aneurysm detected? An aneurysm may be small and
not cause symptoms. Symptoms of aneurysms in the brain
can include impaired vision and headaches. A person who
has a ruptured cerebral aneurysm may complain of the sudden
onset of "the worst headache of my life." Symptoms or the lack
of them depend on where it's located. Pain is a common
symptom. Another is throbbing at the site. Sometimes
you can even see it throbbing and feel it! Of course you
wouldn't be able to feel it in the brain. Physical exam,
ultrasound examination, and CT scan are used to evaluate
aneurysms. The larger the aneurysm becomes, the more likely it
is to burst. Several tools using imaging techniques can be used
for diagnostic purposes. X-ray angiography is the examination of
the aorta by injecting a dye (contrast media) through a thin
flexible tube (catheter) that has been placed into it. Then a
quick session of X-ray images is done to see blood flow. MRI
(magnetic resonance imaging) or CT or computed tomography are
also used to detect aneurysms. An echocardiogram uses sound
waves to create a moving picture of the heart. This resulting
picture is much more detailed than and X-ray image and involves
no radiation exposure. If the aneurysm appears to be relatively
small and located in a fairly safe area, a doctor will want to
check it regularly to see if it's enlarging.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

The rest of the day was uneventful but for one
incident. They were walking along chatting
casually and were not aware of animal life around
them. At the time they were passing through a bit
of a valley created by drainage off the land,
heading for the river. At one point a fairly large
deer came out of the bush and charged them.
The deer was male with new antlers coming.
However, one side had been broken off somehow. One
look at the animal and it was plain it had not
eaten in a while. It was sickly.
Mae took charge. She stood right in front of
the charging animal and broadcast love. It
stopped, mid charge, and calmly came up to Mae and
nuzzled against her.
Mae took her hands and opened the animals
mouth. It's teeth had been smashed. They were all
broken and there was no way the animal could eat
without a lot of pain.
Mae whispered in the animals ear, telling it
to stay right where it was. Then she stepped back
and sent an energy beam into the animal, through
it's chest. The deer nearly collapsed from the
force of all that went on, but it did manage to
keep upright.
Then she walked up to it and hugged it, once
more whispering in it's ear.
She opened the deer's mouth and there was a
full mouth of good healthy teeth. The broken
antler had grown to match the other, and the
overall appearance of the animal had changed
dramatically. All was well.
Whispering in the animals ear once more she
told it to go and have a happy life. the deer
bounded away.
"All are God's creatures. Our job is to give
life, not take it. We must learn to channel our
Maker's life force to the benefit of all, even the
inanimate." Mae was speaking in a way that let
Wong know she was speaking to him.
Wong marvelled at the event. He was learning
that all life was valuable, that all must be
respected. He learned some of that in the
monastery but not quite to the depth the ladies
were showing him. He liked this new concept, this
living by higher law. He was a man full of love
and wanted all to flourish. It made him feel good
that the deer would now live a long healthy life.
"This pleases me. I like all animals to live
healthy. It pains me to see another living thing
in pain" he said.
"Yes, Wong and more than that, each stone has
a purpose. We live in this earth and are to
respect what is here. We must not be of the world
of mankind, promoting greed and avarice. We must
be aware that all is one, all is God. Even the
ones that murder and harm others are serving some
purpose that benefits the players involved. We may
and usually don't know the reason but it is always
there. It behooves us to find it."
"But Miss Mae, surely murder is not good!"
"I did not say murder was good. I did not say
murder was bad. I said even murder serves some
purpose that benefits those involved. I am not
speaking of mankind's things. All acts are to
teach so that our souls continue on their journey
back to God, the Garden. Further, I said it is
much to our benefit to find the good in all acts
for it means we grow faster and better" answered
Mae.
"You mean I should begin to look at things
from the perspective of God, rather than the
perspective of man?"
"In part that is what I mean and you are not
to think that blasphemous. Are you not made in the
image of your Maker? You are therefore to see
through your Maker's eyes. Know what is going on
from your Maker's point of view and you grow
rapidly."
"That I will do. I will try to see the real
event behind the visible one" said Wong.
"That is a point of view that keeps you
powerful and keeps you from becoming involved in
man's world. All men can do this but greed keeps
men away. Some men will fight to the death
defending what they think is theirs, even if it is
nothing more than three square feet of land, that
will not serve them when they are dead. Their
defense of what they think is right is sometimes
completely preposterous. Their posturing and
strutting serves only to set them back for it only
harms others and that is not your Maker's way. Yet
the law, above all, will reward all men according
to their deeds. Nothing is more just than the
law."
"It is the same in the monastery. They teach
what is right but insist on the hierarchial order
of things. That alone requires an agenda. I had
not seen that before. Moreover, I must now leave
that behind me to pursue higher law. Yet I look
for your agenda. I cannot find one."
"That, Wong, is because you do not believe it.
Our whole purpose is to aid mankind in any way we
can. The closer man comes to his Maker, the more
perfect the world becomes." Mae wanted him to go
deep in understanding. This man would serve many
and in a land so vast, filled with so many people.
His options were many.
