We take salt for granted now, but it was once considered
very valuable (after all, without it your food is terribly bland).
In ancient Rome, the seasoning was so precious that
soldiers were given special allowances for salt rations,
called "salarium." That's how we got our modern-day
word - "salary." Since salt was so valuable, it was bad luck
to spill it. If you did so, you were supposed to throw a pinch
of salt over your left shoulder to nullify the bad luck.
(More trivia - In Leonardo Da Vinci's famous painting,
The Last Supper, you can see that Judas has spilled the
table salt. It's the artist's way of foreshadowing the tragedy
that is about to follow.)

Just See It!

How is your creative imagination? Can you see things in your
mind's eye and make them "real" to your brain, nervous system
and senses? This is an excellent facility to develop further.
You can use this in your goal achievement process.
Here's an important fact: Your nervous system cannot tell the
difference between an real and an imagined event. That is why
your body goes through the same distress each time you re-tell
the story of a frightening or sad event. It may not be at the
same level of distress the event but the signals to the body
will be the same. Of course, this is also true of the
positive messages and stories you tell yourself and others.
How can you use this information to your highest good? You
can use the operation of this unconscious creative mechanism
by calling up, capturing and evoking the feeling of success.
You can envision your goals achieved and how you will feel
when that is accomplished. You can see yourself enjoying the
benefits. You can feel the exhilaration and relief in your
body. You can use the natural workings of your mind to
accomplish your goals.
Take the time to fully see, hear, feel, touch, taste and smell
the things you want in life. Just sit with your eyes closed
and imagine all the "sense-ations" that will accompany your
success. Get fully into it. It's simple and it works!

As you move the mouse across its pad, the cursor may move
across the screen, or it move slowly. This speed is easily
adjusted within the Mouse Properties dialog box. Use the
Pointer speed slider to make adjustments. Get there by
double clicking the mouse icon in Control Panel. Go to Start,
Then to Settings,and to Control Panel)
If the mouse pointer is moving too fast, drag the slider to
the slower side. If it's to slow, speed it up by dragging
the slider to the right, or faster side.

Aneurysms
A Leak In Your Circulatory System

WHAT TREATMENT IS GIVEN? Surgical intervention with
patches or excision if possible is generally recommended.
The timing and indications for surgery differ depending on
the type of aneurysm. Brain aneurysms are generally treated
surgically. A metal clip is secured around the base of the
aneurysm. Another type of treatment involves 'packing' the
aneurysm with small, flexible wire coils. These are placed
into the aneurysm using a catheter (thin flexible hollow tube).
Patches or artificial pieces of blood vessel are also used
defect where the aneurysm was. If no problems are noted with
aneurysms, they will be left alone. Once in a long while, a
series of multiple leaks occurs. Medical intervention will be
done appropriately using all sorts of technologies. If you use
the analogy of the garden hose, the concept is similar. You need
to fix the leak so the life-giving blood gets to its destination
and "life goes on".

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

Wong thought about that for a while.
"Wong, what you are having trouble with is we
ask for nothing in return. We don't even stay to
be thanked. It is completely unimportant to us.
Our pleasure is in the helping. The world of man
does not understand that. Everything man does he
does for some reward. He is therefore suspicious
of someone who serves without any thought of
return" said Mae.
"That is what has been getting to me. I see
now. Why would you need a reward? Who can give you
anything you do not already have?"
"Now you're getting it" responded Mae.
Night was beginning to fall and they decided
they best begin looking for a place to stay the
night. It looked as if rain was on its way, so the
night could be a wet one.
There were no other travelers on the road, at
least none that could be seen. There was no
motorized traffic either. They were alone.
They found a meadow and set up their camp for
the night under a large tree. They lit a fire and
had supper.
Life this way was governed by the light of
day. They fell into the rhythm of the day, as
everyone in this country does.
Chatting for a while, they soon laid down to
sleep.
It began to rain. Mae set up a "bubble" over
them that spread for 10 yards in all directions.
It kept the rain away. They were dry, and the fire
kept burning.
There was a disturbance. Some travelers had
seen the fire and approached. Mae, Susan and Wong
made them welcome, but the travelers did not trust
them. This was strange. It was raining all around
but not in this spot. That was not right. The
travelers were wary and sat down just inside the
dry area. They did not join the three of them.
Mae stood, and the guests cowered as if she
were going to hurt them. "Relax. I shall do you no
harm" she said. Having stretched and put more wood
on the fire, she again laid down.
They all slept well, without incident. Yet
when they awoke they saw immediately the guest
travelers had left.
"Funny. They do not trust anything that is
different. I set up that area of protection
against the rain and they were fearful because of
it" said Mae.
"Not so funny, Mae. All mankind is afraid of
what they do not understand. It is so everywhere"
responded Susan.
"True."
They brewed a hot beverage over the morning
fire, then broke camp and were again on the road.
It was slippery walking as a result of the rain
during the night. Susan set up a 10 yard area of
dry road all around them. They walked within this
dry area. As they passed the road was again
returned to its usual condition.
Wong was surprised a great deal of the time.
He was yet that young with higher law that he did
not see all the possibilities. That he could
change the elements around him to make his life a
little more comfortable was a revelation to him.
The day passed free of difficulty. They walked
most of the day admiring the countryside. They had
passed through two villages and were now again in
the wide open spaces. At least they were in
country with mountains running alongside them and
a vast plains area on the other.
They came to a fork in the road. "This is the
one you want to take" said Wong. "It leads more
north and toward the high plains."
"Where does that other road lead?"
"It leads eventually down into southern
China's coast. My monastery is in that direction.
We were only 50 miles from the coast where we
were. If we go north we will come to a very large
city, maybe 2,000,000 people. There is much
industry there. Beyond that city is the direction
you want to take." Wong was fidgeting a little.
"Wong, the monastery is not the direction we
are going. Yet you are nervous. They have no
authority over you. They lead you in directions
that are only partially true. They are in a
man-made system that was about to keep you in
bondage. Fear not the remarks of those who taught
you. You have much more power than they" Mae was
trying to be reassuring.

Life's Funny Little Realities
I had to give up jogging for my health. My thighs kept rubbing
together and setting my pantyhose on fire.

A distant traveler sees the home of a missionary.
Tired and weak, he crawls up to the house and
collapses on the doorstep. The missionary finds
him and nurses him back to health.
Feeling better, the man asks the missionary for
directions to the nearest town. As he leaves, he
sees a horse. He goes back into the house and
asks the missionary, "Could I borrow your horse
and give it back after I reach the town?"
The missionary says, "Sure, but there is a
special thing about this horse. You have to say
'Thank God' to make it go and 'Amen' to make it
stop."
Not paying much attention, the man says, "Sure,
OK." So, he gets on the horse and says, "Thank
God" and the horse starts walking. Then, he say,
"Thank God, thank God, " and the horse starts
trotting.
Feeling really brave, the man say, "Thank God,
thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God" and the
horse just takes off.
Pretty soon he sees this cliff coming up and he's
doing everything he can to make the horse stop.
"Whoa! Stop! Hold on! Halt!"
Finally, he remembers, "Amen!"
The horse stops four inches from the cliff. The
man leans back in the saddle and sighs:
"Thank God!"

The deer was male with new antlers coming.
However, one side had been broken off somehow. One
look at the animal and it was plain it had not
eaten in a while. It was sickly.
Mae took charge. She stood right in front of
the charging animal and broadcast love. It
stopped, mid charge, and calmly came up to Mae and
nuzzled against her.
Mae took her hands and opened the animals
mouth. It's teeth had been smashed. They were all
broken and there was no way the animal could eat
without a lot of pain.
Mae whispered in the animals ear, telling it
to stay right where it was. Then she stepped back
and sent an energy beam into the animal, through
it's chest. The deer nearly collapsed from the
force of all that went on, but it did manage to
keep upright.
Then she walked up to it and hugged it, once
more whispering in it's ear.
She opened the deer's mouth and there was a
full mouth of good healthy teeth. The broken
antler had grown to match the other, and the
overall appearance of the animal had changed
dramatically. All was well.
Whispering in the animals ear once more she
told it to go and have a happy life. the deer
bounded away.
"All are God's creatures. Our job is to give
life, not take it. We must learn to channel our
Maker's life force to the benefit of all, even the
inanimate." Mae was speaking in a way that let
Wong know she was speaking to him.
Wong marvelled at the event. He was learning
that all life was valuable, that all must be
respected. He learned some of that in the
monastery but not quite to the depth the ladies
were showing him. He liked this new concept, this
living by higher law. He was a man full of love
and wanted all to flourish. It made him feel good
that the deer would now live a long healthy life.
"This pleases me. I like all animals to live
healthy. It pains me to see another living thing
in pain" he said.
"Yes, Wong and more than that, each stone has
a purpose. We live in this earth and are to
respect what is here. We must not be of the world
of mankind, promoting greed and avarice. We must
be aware that all is one, all is God. Even the
ones that murder and harm others are serving some
purpose that benefits the players involved. We may
and usually don't know the reason but it is always
there. It behooves us to find it."
"But Miss Mae, surely murder is not good!"
"I did not say murder was good. I did not say
murder was bad. I said even murder serves some
purpose that benefits those involved. I am not
speaking of mankind's things. All acts are to
teach so that our souls continue on their journey
back to God, the Garden. Further, I said it is
much to our benefit to find the good in all acts
for it means we grow faster and better" answered
Mae.
"You mean I should begin to look at things
from the perspective of God, rather than the
perspective of man?"
"In part that is what I mean and you are not
to think that blasphemous. Are you not made in the
image of your Maker? You are therefore to see
through your Maker's eyes. Know what is going on
from your Maker's point of view and you grow
rapidly."
"That I will do. I will try to see the real
event behind the visible one" said Wong.
"That is a point of view that keeps you
powerful and keeps you from becoming involved in
man's world. All men can do this but greed keeps
men away. Some men will fight to the death
defending what they think is theirs, even if it is
