Another myth. In the latter part of the fifteenth century,

Every day you have the opportunity to do things differently.
Every day you have the opportunity to change and grow. You can
find comfort in knowing that you can reorient yourself in the
direction of you goals instantly by reading them and
recommitting, sometimes more than once a day! No matter what
you did yesterday, you can choose again today. Are you using
that opportunity?
For some folks, a pattern exists--that of continually "beating
themselves up" for mistakes from the past. You know, the
"I-should-have-known-better", "I-should-have-seen-it-coming"
variety of self-talk. That kind of talk is only useful once
or twice in any situation, and it only has value at all if it
is used to determine what could have been done differently and
to learn from the experience. Some folks make a life work of
beating themselves up for past mistakes, or missed
opportunities. In fact, some people in some cultures focus
entirely on the wrongs done to them generations before and
generate anger that prevents them from seeing clearly in the
present moment. Energy use is a choice, too.
Knowing both the direction in which you wish your life to go,
and how you would like to feel on the journey, gives you the
information necessary for drawing your personal map. It is
your choice what you take on this trip, which path you will
follow and when you would like to reach your destination. It
is your journey, and, therefore, your choice. Sure, you may
find some bridges washed out and have to find alternative
pathways. You may find unexpected jungles that slow you down,
however, remembering where you are headed rather than
bemoaning what you left behind, will always move you forward.
For today, read your goals. (If you do not have any written
goals, commit to writing one in each of four categories,
today--physical, intellectual, social/emotional and
spiritual.) Take one step, large or small, in the direction
of at least one goal before you sleep tonight. Just before
you drift off to sleep, review your day and acknowledge
yourself for the steps you have taken and make a plan for
tomorrow.

Question About Calcium And Leg Cramps
PART 1 of 2
QUESTION: I have been having (nocturnal) leg cramps at night. I
am not exercising as much as I used to. I am wondering if it is
the type of calcium that I am taking. Is calcium citrate good
enough or what about this coral calcium and won't that be more
expensive on a daily basis? Thanks for getting back as my leg
hurts!
ANSWER: I would start with looking at the calcium you
are taking in all different forms. Then you want to calculate
the ELEMENTAL" amount and it should be around 1500 mgs. If I
didn't know where to start, I would go for the TUMS special one
and see how that works...it's not very expensive, and will give
you a very good beginning. If you are on a low salt diet, be
aware it might need adjusting. I don't know much about Coral
Calcium, except it has all sorts of other things in it. You want
to take calcium for calcium's sake: not for any other reason. If
you want to take a balanced and complete supplement, I doubt it
will be that. Again, read labels and know it's calcium you
need.... And count the "elemental" amounts. The label will tell
you. One more thing you need to think about...could you have
something wrong with your legs and are doing a "self-treatment?
Be cautious of that. It may be a blood clot waiting to dislodge.
Feel your leg.if it's warmer than the rest of the limb, check
with your doctor and check your blood pressure. A local pharmacy
has the machines. Do the same machine roughly the same time of
each day and record your results for a two-week period. The
machine will give you the normal readings, although doctors now
want you to have lower readings. I'll help you interpret the
readings for your age. (And please avoid buying these kind of
products by price alone. Reputable safe companies have to meet
regulations and standards.)

The lightning hit a tree across the road. The
noise was so loud it had force to it that stunned
everyone. The children were crying. The cat
disappeared in about as much time as the lightning
took, the rains seemed to increase and parts of
the tree hit by the blow were scattered all over
the road.
Worse yet was that there were people under
that tree. Some were hurt, and the tree was
burning.
David went into action immediately. He closed
his eyes and concentrated on the perfect
condition. He saw the roadway dry, the tree
restored, the people dry next to the tree, and the
people all in perfect health and condition.
That was the vision that materialized
immediately before his eyes. He had a
determination like never before. It was as if he
knew his actions could outdo that of the
lightning.
He walked over the road and as he passed the
branches and leaves lying on the road they
disappeared. As he approached the people next to
the tree, they began to cower. In his
determination to restore everything his
countenance must have appeared angry. He stopped
and considered who and what he was. Immediately he
began to broadcast love.
It eased the people he was approaching. They
began to relax somewhat but in truth they were
really still in a state of shock from the
lightning. That is the actual effect the strike
had on their bodies. It sent them into shock.
David could see the tree was restored, the
fire put out and appeared normal, but he knew the
roots of the tree had also suffered from the blow.
He placed his hands on the tree, one on each side
and envisioned the tree as being the most majestic
of them all. He saw health, love and life flow
into the tree from his hands and he saw those
forces flow out into every leaf and down into
every root and fibre.
Then he came to look at the people. They had
been soaked from the experience as had their
goods. Earlier he had dried the people but not
those things they had with them. Now they were
dry.
He could see they were still in shock. There
were six of them including a small child who was
stunned so bad he would never talk again unless
David did something.
He walked over to each one sitting on the
ground, and he placed his hands on each head, one
by one. Projecting love and life force through his
hands he gave each a perfectly healthy body, mind
and heart. Unto each one he moved with calm and
with love. Each grabbed his hands and didn't want
to let go. Each reacted as if he were their
saviour.
When he was done they were perfect in every
way. They were happy, fulfilled, free of the shock
trauma. The young were restored to their youthful
vibrance and the old were made young.
They bowed to him.
"Do not bow to me for it is your Maker who has
made you whole. Be thankful unto your Maker within
for there is your source. Think not that I am your
saviour. You alone did this. Love all and if you
would spread that love your lives shall all be
better.
With that he walked across the road to find
that Pam, Mae and Susan had done similar things
with the children and those immediately around
them.
The storm was letting up and was passing. The
effects would be remembered forever by those
who were close to the lightning strike, even David's
own children.
The small group again settled down for more
conversation. They had calmed down somewhat and
were still within their "protected" space. The
children were calming as well, under the influence
of their Mother and Grandmother.
Surveying it all, David was pleased with the
way things simmered down and were under control
once more.

One day a traveling salesman was driving down a back
country road at about 30 mph when he noticed that there
was a three-legged chicken running alongside his car.
He stepped on the gas but at 50 miles per hour. The
chicken was still keeping up. After about a mile of
running the chicken ran up a farm lane and into a barn
behind an old farm house.
The salesman had some time to kill so he turned around
and drove up the farm lane. He knocked at the door and
when the farmer answered he told him what he had
just seen.
The farmer said that his son was a geneticist and he had
developed this breed of chicken because the he, his wife
and his son each like a drumstick when they have chicken
and this way they only have to kill one chicken.
"That's the most fantastic thing I've ever heard," said the
salesman. "How do they taste?"
"I don't know," said the farmer. "We've never caught one."
