What exactly causes an ice cream headache?

Court Rules Against Sanitizing Films
Sanitizing movies on DVD or VHS tape violates federal
copyright laws, and several companies that scrub films must
turn over their inventory to Hollywood studios, an appeals
judge ruled.
Editing movies to delete objectionable language, sex and
violence is an "illegitimate business" that hurts Hollywood
studios and directors who own the movie rights, said U.S.
District Judge Richard P. Matsch in a decision released
Thursday in Denver.
"Their (studios and directors) objective ... is to stop the
infringement because of its irreparable injury to the
creative artistic expression in the copyrighted movies," the
judge wrote. "There is a public interest in providing such
protection."
Matsch ordered the companies named in the suit, including
CleanFlicks, Play It Clean Video and CleanFilms, to stop
"producing, manufacturing, creating" and renting edited
movies. The businesses also must turn over their inventory
to the movie studios within five days of the ruling.
"We're disappointed," CleanFlicks chief executive Ray Lines
said. "This is a typical case of David vs. Goliath, but in
this case, Hollywood rewrote the ending. We're going to
continue to fight."
CleanFlicks produces and distributes sanitized copies of
Hollywood films on DVD by burning edited versions of movies
onto blank discs. The scrubbed films are sold over the
Internet and to video stores.
As many as 90 video stores nationwide — about half of them
in Utah — purchase movies from CleanFlicks, Lines said. It's
unclear how the ruling may effect those stores.
The controversy began in 1998 when the owners of Sunrise
Family Video began deleting scenes from "Titanic" that
showed a naked Kate Winselt.
The scrubbing caused an uproar in Hollywood, resulting in
several lawsuits and countersuits.
Directors can feel vindicated by the ruling, said Michael
Apted, president of the Director's Guild of America.
"Audiences can now be assured that the films they buy or
rent are the vision of the filmmakers who made them and not
the arbitrary choices of a third-party editor," he said.

The very best and fastest and easiest and cheapest detox
product is water! Nice clean, healthy water. Your body will
love you for giving it all it can handle! (But be careful it
is clean and has no other “additives”.)
There are other more medically controlled methods such as
dialysis and drug therapies, but I won’t go into those. You
HAVE TO HAVE THESE DONE UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION.
No EXCEPTIONS! As I stated earlier, it is my intention just to
do the general detoxification information.
Once you understand that your body does this constantly then
anything that you do is in addition to your body’s natural
routine. Your common sense and not someone’s enthusiastic
suggestion should make this decision. Decide what is best
for your body. But there is another element in all of this.
You may think it’s fine to detox your body, once in a while,
or periodically. But what about the rest of the time? You
are living in our somewhat polluted environment, eating
foods that are grown in somewhat unhealthy and depleted
soil. You may also possibly be taking chemicals. Where do
you think it all starts? You may only now be aware of this
possible negative reaction, but it has been going on all
your life: since your birth. So think of this. Your body has
kept you relatively healthy till now when it lets you down
and alerts you to the need for some other kinds of
decisions. You would not be reading this information in this
article unless you had a need. (That is how your mind works:
it brings required information to your conscious awareness.)
The natural or default state of your body is be healthy. It
will do everything in its power to maintain its healthy
balanced: all day, everyday. This state of your body is
called “homeostasis”. Mosby: a relative constancy in the
internal environment of the body, naturally maintained by
adaptive responses that promote healthy survival.” From
conception, this has been the action of every cell of your
body.

As you can see, our title article today is on the never
ending discussion of our rights or lack of rights to show
and display sex, violence and bad language in movies.
While realizing many in the world do not want the human body
displayed and certainly not in an act of copulation, there
are those in the world who feel the choices to view this
kind of thing is an individual choice and not one to be
legislated by government.
I am not in favor of any stand on this matter, preferring to
simply watch the argument rage on. Life, after all, has
nothing to do with this continual preoccupation with these
things kept alive in man's material world by those who
really are only concerned about making money.
The fundamentalists, of course, take severe, even violent
objection to what can be seen in films. To them it is
abhorrent.
What is interesting, on both sides, this is strictly and
only a matter of choice regardless what authoritative
position you take to justify your stand. None are right
except in their own minds.
And, thus, the argument will go on for centuries. And, all
the while it will be used to keep man from learning his true
spiritual nature, occupying his mind with man's nonsense
rather than taking any opportunity to explore the true
essence of life.
Man is created equal. You can argue with that statement if
you wish and so long as you confine your discussion to the
material world you will think you are right. Yet each is
created in the image of God and can have all his/her Maker
has. It is only a matter of choice. Choosing to go inside
yourself to meet your Maker will show you a life that is
without all the strife mankind offers. If you would seek
peace, prosperity, love, joy, and no longer have to concern
yourself about sanitizing films, then go inside, meet your
Maker.

Tickets, Please
Three lawyers and three engineers were traveling by train to
the same meeting. At the station, the lawyers each buy a
ticket but the engineers buy just one. When asked why, the
engineers coyly said "You'll see."
They all board the train, the lawyers taking seats, but the
three engineers all crowding into the bathroom. After the
train has left, the conductor comes around and takes the
lawyers tickets and knocks on the bathroom door and says,
"Ticket Please." An arm stretches out from the bathroom and
the conductor takes the proffered ticket. The lawyers were
very impressed.
On the return trip, the lawyers proposed to emulate the
gearheads and bought only one ticket. To their amazement,
the engineers bought no ticket at all. When asked, the
engineers said, "You'll see."
All board the train and the lawyers and engineers cram into
separate bathrooms to await the conductor. After a few
minutes, one of the gearheads emerges from the bathroom,
goes over to the lawyers' bathroom, knocks on the door and
says: "Ticket please."
