Does crime increase during a full moon?
The full moon doesn't appear to have a link to crime,
either, despite what popular folklore suggests. A
frequently cited study by psychologist Arnold Lieber
claimed to have found a link between lunar phases
and crime. Dr. Lieber looked at more than a decade
of homicides in Dade County, Florida, and said he
found a lunar pattern. But no other researchers have
been able to duplicate his findings, even when they
looked at Dade County as he did. Crime rates DO
appear to rise during hot weather and on weekends.
Is air mostly oxygen?
Nope. About seventy-eight percent of earth's
atmosphere is actually nitrogen. Oxygen makes up
most (but not all) of the rest of the atmosphere.

You have the opportunity of a lifetime. That sounds like
marketing hype because you have heard it so often, doesn't it?
Think about it this way: you have the opportunity to live one
lifetime. Does that make a difference? How are you using your
opportunity?
Are you doing the things you want to be doing in the ways that
you want to be doing them? If not, why not? What are you
viewing as obstacles to having the life you want? Are the
obstacles you perceive real or just convenient? So often it
is comfortable to complain about them. Sometimes folks think
that acknowledging the obstacle in this way relieves them of
the requirement to overcome them. Could that be you?
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the
question, "What do you REALLY want?" Do you know? Are you
clear? That's the beginning. Most folks can immediately say
what they don't want. When you can very clearly state what
you do want, then, you are on your way!
The next step is to be able to picture yourself having what
you want. Can you see, feel and hear yourself living the
lifestyle that you most want? It's important to be able to
imagine yourself doing just that in great detail. Your mind
works in pictures, so make yours a good one.
Spend some time each day picturing your ideal life in great
detail...even just five or ten minutes will do. Be prepared
for some changes in your life when you make this a habit
because they will come.

Windows has a built-in screen-capture function that can
take a picture of what's on your screen, after which you
can easily insert that picture into any OLE-compliant
application as a ready-made graphic .
Here's how:
First find the Print Screen button on your keyboard.
To capture the entire screen, simply press the
Print Screen key. To capture just the active window
or dialog box, press Alt+Print Screen.
Although it will seem that nothing has happened,
Windows has actually saved the picture to its Clipboard.
Now, you can retrieve that image into your application.
Place your insertion point where you want the
image to appear, and paste it into your file.

In the acute stage of a suicide attempt, the help and
crisis lines are helpful, but so are you, if you truly
wish to help them. Loneliness is one of the biggest
drivers" toward ending a person' life. Maybe you feel
lonely yourself and wish someone would help you.
So that makes two lonely people who know one
another. Couldn't one of you suggest a cup of coffee
together and a chance to chat? You don't have to
have any special knowledge to help, but you do have
to have one special quality. And that quality is a
caring attitude. Help another person and
you ...surprisingly ...help yourself!
Please let people with degenerative conditions
such as Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, etc.
know that there is now a lot of hope. The recent

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

make the decision to go inside and be near their
Maker the sooner the hard lessons stop. It is the
same for all, rich or poor, in all lands."

"So when we look for the lesson in all the things
that happen to us we think is wrong, they will
soon stop?" asked Shing Li.
"Each lesson is for a purpose Shing Li. You can
only bring them to a stop when you make the
decision to go inside and listen to your Maker.
The more you listen to your Maker, the easier and
more fruitful your life shall be. There is no more
need for hard lessons when you are one with your
Maker. Every lesson points in that direction. It
is up to you whether you learn it or not. Your
Maker wants only the best of abundance for you,
yet as man you reject, you fight, you fail to
listen. Stop the fight, learn to listen and all
you want is yours." responded Mae.
"Shing Li, it is like the wise ones of old have
taught. Learn to give up your life and you shall
gain it an hundredfold." said Susan, "Life is not
in resistence but in acceptance. Man must learn
this to gain the things he is looking for."
"It sounds confusing to me." said Shing Li.
"One day it will be clear. The path to
understanding is first to declare you want to know
and then commit unto yourself to find the true
answer. When you do that, answers begin to come."
said Mae.
"Is it so for all men? Can everyone in the village
be like you?" she asked.
"In this all men are equal. None are exempt except
as they render themselves." said Mae.
"What do you mean except as they render
themselves?" asked Shing Li.
"Shing Li, some men cling so close to their
possessions they will not let go of what they
think is their wealth. They foolishly believe that
to have possessions is to make them powerful. They
believe this until, on their death bed, they
realize possessions serve them not. Yet until then
they will fight all who they believe threaten
their possessions. Men are the same everywhere. In
all places in earth they are exactly alike. Only
those who see through the veil of ignorance, who
begin to see the light of life, who go inside to
create a relationship with their Maker, who leave
their possessions, gain life and abundance. It is
completely a matter of personal choice. All may
choose the way." said Mae.
Mae went on, "It is like you, Shing Li. You walked
all that way with your pig. You thought you would
sell it and have some money and then live a little
longer. Yet you met us, came home, and now you
have a box that will give you food forever. What
need do you have of your pig now? Should it not be
given to someone less fortunate than you, who
might use the pig to help them live? Until they
learn, as you, that life does not exist in
possessions, but inside themselves, they might
make better use of your pig."
"Yes. You are right. I have been blessed. And I
feel love for my people. I want to serve them. I
want you to stay and teach me higher law. I want
our people to learn. Will you stay and teach me?"
she asked.
"As long as we believe we are of value. You do
understand we will have to leave one day when you
least want us to, that you might function
according to higher law. You cannot form a
dependency upon us." said Mae.
"Shing Li, that is how it must be. We will always
be able to contact each other, but there will come
a time when you must stand on your own, in higher
law. It happens to all of us. We will teach, but
you must do." said Susan.
"I will do this." said Shing Li.
Shing Li had been much impressed at how the
village had taken to the two guests. She saw, in
men and women who were her elders, a glint of the
respect and admiration they felt for Mae and
Susan. It allowed her to believe the village
elders thought these two were genuine and they
envied their knowledge and power. Shing Li saw all
that in their eyes and in their actions. It
allowed her to accept fully, without reservation,
the two teachers. She now possessed a thirst for
knowledge the two had. She wanted it.
