How else is Pluto unique among the planets in our solar
system?
Pluto is hard to classify. It is neither a gas giant
planet nor a terrestrial planet. Pluto resides in the
outer solar system, where all its neighbors are gaseous
giants, but Pluto is a small, solid object. Pluto is
far too large to be a comet, but it frequently behaves
like one by warming up and losing its atmosphere into
space.
What controversy involving Pluto occurred in 1999?
In January 1999, misleading reports appeared in the
media that suggested Pluto was about to lose its status
as a planet and be reclassified as a minor planet or
even an asteroid. The furor was caused by a suggestion
to include Pluto in a specialized listing of
"Trans-Neptunian Objects," a group of smaller objects
that have been discovered in the outer solar system
beyond Neptune's orbit. These objects are similar to
Pluto, though drastically smaller. Astronomers did not
intend to imply that Pluto was not a planet by
suggesting its inclusion on the list, but the
assumption that Pluto was being "demoted" caused an
uproar anyway and the International Astronomical Union
had to issue a statement confirming that Pluto remained
our ninth planet.

You Do Not Have To Know!
I overheard a conversation the other day that really
tweaked my ears. No, it was not about me.
It was two people, whom I know, carrying on a
conversation and I became interested. The result was I
was sorely tempted to participate.
Then I remembered something. I remembered a rule I set
for myself a long time ago.
You see, when two people are carrying on a conversation
and that conversation is about another person that is
usually gossip. I made a rule not to do that.
I do not mean that such a conversation is always
gossip. Often folks are trying to help someone.
However, in my experience it usually comes around to
doing no good and can be easily categoized as gossip.
The title today is You Do Not Have To Know! That is a
truth. You know what I have discovered?
I have discovered two things. The first is that what
you really NEED to know, you will. What you need to
know has a way of making its way into your
intelligence. Trust that point and you will save
yourself a lot of time and grief. The second thing I
found out is that even if you do not need to know, too
often information will arrive at your doorstep anyway.
Do not participate in gossip. I know it is a rule many
people have. However, it is also something that tempts
you everyday.
Something of which you should be aware is - all gossip
is negative. All gossip covers negative topics,
emotions, attitudes. All gossip proceeding from your
lips can come back to haunt you, primarily because of
the law "As ye sow, so shall ye reap".
A friend of mine told me a long time ago that most
people talk about people. Some people talk about things
and successful people talk about ideas.
While that sounds like a pretty hard observation, why
don't you sit back and observe what is happening around
you and I think you will soon agree with the
observation.
There are many times this little tidbit can keep you
from company that will drain you of time and resources
rather than contribute to what you are doing and you to
what they are doing.
This little tidbit might make you more aware of who you
are dealing with so you will not have to waste your
time trying to sell your product or service to those
who have no interest.
So, remember, on the personal level there are some
things ...

Steroids and steroid abuse,
“There are several types of steroid (sex) hormones.
Anabolic steroids are hormone-like substances related
to testosterone, the major male sex hormone. Anabolic
steroid hormones are different from the steroids
produced by the adrenal glands that are similar to
"cortisone" and are often prescribed to treat
inflammation, asthma and rashes. The abuse of anabolic
steroid hormones among young people has been rising
over the past several years.” “Unfortunately, we still
don't know how great the problem is throughout all of
society, and don't know what the effects steroid abuse

Steroids were very useful and practical when
administered by qualified medical practitioners, but
this has now turned into a cultural pastime. Here are
two very helpful and easy to understand sites to learn
more. If you look at the psychological changes and the
health risks, you wonder why anyone takes these
willingly. Psychological symptoms include: Mood swings,
Sleep disruption,Aggressive behavior, Extreme
irritability, Delusions, Impaired judgment because of
feelings that nothing can hurt you, Paranoid jealousy,
Euphoria (exaggerated feeling of well being),
Depression (after stopping steroids),Lack of sexual
drive (after stopping steroids)

Conclusion: I hope this has been an interesting
overview into the actions of your hormones. They, like
the rest of your body, require tender loving care and
respect. Now you can appreciate that if there is a
problem with inappropriate or useless nutrients (empty
calories) coming into your body, this would have a
major effect on your health. Remember that the only way
your body gets any energy, is through nutrition/foods.
We don’t often think in terms of what we feed it. We
simply expect it to run all the time, in good health.
But here you can see if you don’t feed it proper
“usable” foods, it simply can’t get the fuel it needs.
And then the vicious cycle starts. Without nutrients in
your bloodstream, you are not feeding each individual
cell of your entire body. Result? Now you get fatigue
and a slowing down of all your systems. This is only a
brief overview and it certainly is not complete. If
this hormone interests you please follow up with a lot

other than to recognize your body’s importance in your
life?

"Of course not. You know how long these things
take. They will be shocked right out of their
minds that you will deliver it in two weeks. What
are the arrangements?"
"I asked them to have a truck with a pick up
capacity at the back door of Mr. Hunters garage
two weeks from today."
"Ha, ha, ha," Darryl laughed. "It's no wonder
they don't believe you. I'll bet they're stewing
over it right now. I'll bet you'll get another
phone call, attempting to confirm the delivery
date. They have never dealt with anyone for a
statue who delivered that fast. As far as they are
concerned it is impossible. Ha, ha, haaaaa! Boy
I'll bet they're in a fit over this." Darryl quite
enjoyed the little joke the two of them were
having.
"I expect they'll try to reach me again. They
didn't give me any inscription. I have one I'll
use that I know they will like but they'll call me
with that as an excuse."
Darryl and David spent a lot of time together
that day. They enjoyed each other's company.
To their surprise Pam, the kids and Pam's
folks came walking into the restaurant and all sat
down at the booth with the two men.
"Hello Bob, Lynn. How are you folks doing? I
haven't seen you since I left the paper. I hope
and trust all is well?"
"Just fine Darryl, " Bob Hunter took Darryl
Sparks offered hand and shook it. "It's nice to
have Pam and the kids back for a while. I have to
tell you Darryl, I'm having quite a time getting
used to this 'higher law' stuff. I just can't see
how it works and our church is vehemently against
it. Can you shed any light on the matter?" Bob
Hunter had no idea Darryl and Evelyn Sparks lived
by higher law. He was in for a surprise.
"What don't you understand Bob?"
"Well, Pam and David keep saying this is the
real message Christ ... I mean Jesus taught. They
keep correcting me on that. They tell me not to
use that word 'Christ' because most people,
including me, use it as if it is a last name, and
it is not. They keep saying Jesus came to teach
this message that whatever we believe we can bring
to pass. I can see that some, but manifest food?
Come on. Those things can't be done."
"Did you come here to eat today, Bob?"
"Yeah. We thought we would stop in for lunch.
We had no idea you and David were here."
"What do you think you would like to eat? Do
you have a favorite plate here?"
"I sure do. I love what these folks do to
oysters. I always order a half dozen oysters on
toast. I love them."
"Like those?" Darryl pointed to the plate full
of oysters he manifested in front of Bob Hunter.
Bob looked at the oysters, then at Darryl, at
his oysters, then at Darryl. "Do... do... do you
do that stuff too?"
"What stuff, Bob? Is that what you were going
to order?"
'Y... yes, but the waitress hasn't even come
to take our order yet." Bob Hunter was now
confused. He had run across a situation he did not
expect and from a friend from whom he did not
expect it.
"Bob, living by higher law is following what
Jesus said to do. If you read your bible and do
your own interpretation rather than let any church
do the interpreting for you, then you will see."
"But they are all learned men. They went to
college for years to learn what they are saying to
us."
"I see. So you think many years at college
learning what other men want them to learn
qualifies any man or woman to teach you things
other than what Jesus taught you? I find that
surprising, Bob, coming from a thinking man like
yourself. As I see it Bob, the church keeps
teaching you all about Jesus, but they do not tell
you to follow Jesus' instructions. Why is that?"
"Well they tell us to go out and be loving,
kind and generous like Jesus."
"Good. Now why don't they tell you to read
your bible to discover what Jesus told you to do
and go out and do that?"
"I am not sure I understand what you are
saying, Darryl."
"Bob. Read your bible. Read Matthew 6: 19 to
31 and read Matthew 21: v 21 & 22. Do your own
thinking. Read what those passages say and do what
they say. That is what Jesus came to teach. Read
it. One more thing. Don't go reading any of those
modern versions of the bible. They are only
perverted man made versions trying to make things
'easier' for you. They are playing right into your
hands. Read, instead the King James Version or
older translations. Then you will see what was
said."

Rick and Cherie met at a church potluck one day and to
their surprise they had quite a bit in common. On of
the items they both had in common was that they had
both worked for 6 Flags for 2 years. Neither knew the
other one through the park though, for it seems Rick
ran the Ferris Wheel and Cherie ran the merry Go Round.
