The Hundred Monkey Principle!
Are you working the hundred monkey principle? You
should. That is to say if you want to be successful on
the internet it is a mandatory principle.
The Hundred Monkey Principle works.
It is the principle of hanging in there, of keepin' on
keepin' on, of trying especially when you are tired and
willing to give up, of things taking on a life of their
own.
It is a proven principle that will create your success
all by itself when you work it.
Oh! Yeah! What is it? Well, let me tell you a story.
It seems that some time back some scientists noticed
that in a certain part of the world there were monkeys
who practiced washing their food before they ate it. It
only happened in one area of the world and nowhere
else.
As an experiment they took a mating pair and placed
them on an island where there were no monkeys at all.
The next year they introduced another mating pair of
the same monkeys.
In five years there were a dozen monkeys from these two
mating pairs and all were washing their food just as
they had in their origninal home.
In the seventh year the scientists brought in two dozen
monkeys from another region, which monkeys did not wash
their food, and they were also in mating pairs.
As time went on the scientists observed that only the
monkeys from the original two mating pairs and their
offspring were washing their food before eating. The
monkeys brought in from the secondary source continued
their habits of eating their food without washing.
Then a miracle happened.
When the population finally reached over one hundred
the scientists noticed that suddenly one day - all the monkeys
were washing their food before eating.
From that time on all the monkeys washed their food.
Put this principle to work in your area of life.
Keep on keepin' on. Sooner or later the principle kicks
in and you are away.

Make A Conscious Decision Today To Reduce Your
Stress Level At The Beginning Of Your Day. Discover

I give you permission to stop working in a frenzy - Running
to meetings unprepared - Searching for papers in your
stacks "unsuccessfully". Looking for clean underwear,
remembering now that you didn't have time to do a
wash - Thinking about dinner and realizing that whatever
is left over, wouldn't make anything recognizable! So
take out it is - again.
As I write this, my heart is racing and I would suspect
yours is too.
So PLEASE STOP. Please!
See what you are doing to yourself, to your career, your
family, your STRESS level.
At some point in your life, if you haven't already done so,
you have to stop and see where you are heading. It's time
to make a conscious decision to check your personal
direction. You MUST decide that whatever career or
position you choose, must lead to your OWN goals. Does
it fit in with your inner needs? Are you happier in your
career activities or in your leisure activities? This is a very
important issue to deal with. Your leisure activities are
using your built-in skills and talents things you were
born with. This should give you a strong hint of your
purpose. If your present career is not in line with this,
you will experience a lot of turmoil, reluctance to work,
and confusion leading to unrelieved stress.

Bob looked at the kids parents to see if he
had permission to continue. They both nodded.
Bob then raised his arm to get the attention
of the waitress. He ordered two double ice cream
cones.
The kids had no idea what to do when they
came. They were big and they did not know how to
eat them. Grandpa had to show them.
About two licks each and they were into the
system with both feet. They liked ice cream.
Following the meal they left to do the other
chores and shopping Lynn Hunter wanted to do. Pam
and the kids came along because Pam wanted the
kids to see Pinehill and how other people did
things.
As you might expect they were wide eyed the
whole time. They had not yet seen what we refer to
as modern civilization. They were in awe.
David decided he would go home and begin
planning the statue project, so he returned to the
Hunters'.
His thinking had proven to be correct. While
there, in the kitchen, sipping on a coffee, the
phone rang. When he answered it was the same chap
from the city who was calling back. He wanted to
discuss an inscription.
"I have in mind what I want to say as an
inscription. Why don't you let me do it my way and
if you don't like what it says, then I can cause
it to be changed?"
"I guess that would be all right?" The man at
the other end of the line was perplexed. He really
didn't know if that would work or not. Then he
came again to the question of time. "Are you sure
you can have it ready in two weeks?"
"I know this sounds crazy to you, but I chose
two weeks because I know the annual dinner is
coming up and I thought you might like to have it
ready for then. It will be ready. I will work on
it day and night until you arrive to pick it up.
Oh, one thing I forgot to tell you, when you pour
the foundation I want you to place one inch bolts
in it in a square pattern with the bolt centers
being exactly eight feet apart, side to side and
front to back. I will make the pedestal to fit
that."
"I can have that arranged. You're sure it will
be ready in two weeks?"
"You just have your truck at the back of the
Hunter garage two weeks from today and I'll have
your statue ready for you to pick up."
"Okay, Mr. Wiley. I guess you know what you're
doing."
With that the two men said their good byes to
each other and hung up their phones.
In the meanwhile, Darryl Sparks dropped in to
city hall and sought out some of his friends. Two
of them were aldermen and he went to see if they
could see him. One of the men was free and ushered
Darryl into his office.
"What can I do for you today, Darryl. It's
good to see you again. I think the last time I saw
you was at the annual Scholarship Dinner. Boy are
we having trouble over that. Do you know this
David Wiley?"
"Yes. Why?"
"He made that statue for us for our centennial
project and it took months for it to be ready.
It's a terrific statue, mind you. But now we
wanted to get one to serve as a memorial to Old
Pete and he is saying to come pick it up in two
weeks. That would actually be fantastic, but two
weeks?"
"He came to me to get photographs of Pete. We
had long talk. I hadn't seen David for a very long
while. We spoke of this same issue. He didn't
think you believed him. That is really the reason
I'm here."
"What do you think is happening. I am afraid
to make plans based on that deadline. What if he
fails to deliver?"
"What causes you to doubt? Has he ever let you
down before?"
"No, Darryl. It's just that it seems
impossible, and then there was all that trouble
with his father and all."
"What has that got to do with David?"
"Nothing. It's just that it puts a negative on
the situation and since we have never had such
service on things like statues it just seems
impossible he can deliver in that time."
"One thing I have learned about David Wiley.
Unlike many men, if he promises something, he
delivers. I know not his reasons to promise
delivery so quickly but if he said it, I would
bank on it."
"Are you sure, Darryl?"
"I consider David to be a friend of mine. I
know him well enough to know that if he said he
would have the statue ready by a certain date,
then it will be ready. If I were you I would begin
my plans based on what he said. It is for certain
he will fulfill his word. You don't want to be
disappointed because you don't trust, do you?"

At the end of their date, a young man takes the girl
back to her home. He decides to try for that first
kiss. With an air of confidence, he leans with his hand
against the wall and, smiling, he says to her,
"Darling, how 'bout a good night kiss?"
Embarrassed, she replies, "Oh, I couldn't do that. My
parents will see us!"
"Oh come on! Who's gonna see us at this hour?"
"No, please. I would just die of embarrassment if
someone saw us."
"Oh come on, there's nobody around, they're all
sleeping!"
"No way. It's just too risky!"
"Oh please, please, I like you so much!!"
"No. I like you too, but I just can't!"
"Oh yes you can. Please?"
"NO, no. I just can't."
"Pleeeeease?..."
Out of the blue, the porch light goes on, and the
girl's sister shows up in her pajamas, hair disheveled.
In a sleepy voice the sister says: "Dad says to go
ahead and give him a kiss. Or I can do it. Or if need
be, he'll come down himself and do it. But for crying
out loud tell him to take his hand off the intercom
button!"
