TODAY'S TRIVIA - - -
-----------------------

What common bathroom product are roaches attracted to?

How big are piranhas?

How fast do piranhas eat?

--------------
ANSWERS TO YESTERDAY'S TRIVIA - - - -
--------------

What is the largest cockroach on the record books?

Don't read this answer if you're squeamish. The largest
cockroach on record was a whopping 3.81 inches in
length. That's nearly 4 inches, the size of your kid's
action figures! Imagine that running up your walls at
night!

Can roaches fly?

I am answering this one from personal (very traumatic)
experience. YES, some types can. Worse, certain flying
roaches are very large and, unlike other roaches, are
attracted to light. While I was still a lowly graduate
student, I shared an old country house surrounded by
pine trees. According to the exterminators who showed
up repeatedly at our house, these roaches are attracted
to areas with pine trees. I came very close to a
"nervous breakdown" that year. Imagine roaches that
fly, that come out at all hours of the day and night,
and that aren't afraid to fly right into your face! I'd
hear them fluttering around at night, I swear. Amazing
I made it to any classes that year, as I hardly ever
slept for fear of flying bugs.

Here's To Think On ...

Set The Rules Before You Wager!

Stevie Wonder and Tiger Woods are in a restaurant
having dinner. Woods turns to Wonder and says, "How's
the singing career going?"

Stevie Wonder replies, "Not too bad. How's the golf?"

Woods replies, "Not too bad. I've had some problems
with my swing, but I think I've got that going right
now."

Stevie says, "I always find that when my swing goes
wrong, I need to stop playing for a while and not think
about it. Then, the next time I play, it seems to be
all right."

Tiger says, "You play golf?"

Wonder says, "Oh, yes, I've been playing for years."

Woods says, "But you're blind! How can you play golf
if you can't see?"

Wonder replies, "I get my caddy to stand in the middle
of the fairway and call to me. I listen for the sound
of his voice and play the ball toward him. Then, when I
get to where the ball lands, the caddy moves to the
green or farther down the fairway and again I play the
ball toward his voice."

"But how do you putt?" asks Woods.

"Well," says Stevie, "I get my caddy to lean down in
front of the hole and call to me with his head on the
ground, and I just play the ball toward his voice."

Woods asks, "What's your handicap?"

Stevie says, "Well, I'm a scratch golfer."

Woods, incredulous, says to Stevie, "We've got to play
a round sometime."

Wonder replies, "Well, people don't take me seriously,
so I only play for money, and never play for less than
$10,000 a hole."

Woods thinks about it and says, "OK, I'm up for that.
When would you like to play?"

Stevie says, "Pick a night."

Maybe Tiger Woods can afford a bet like that, but I
don't know how many of the rest of us would.

The joke above reveals a perfectly natural part of
human nature. So often we do things without thinking
them all the way through. Too often we do things
without giving them near enough thought.

How many have begun internet businesses thinking they
were going to make money quickly, only to find it
doesn't happen? How many then go searching hither and
yon for things to recoup their investment and as a
result end up taking anything that looks like it will
double their money.

I receive around 3000 emails a day and I watch the
trends and patterns. I can almost tell you who will
last and who will not.

Those who got into it out of greed alone, not thinking
through the responsibilities, can be spotted right
away. I have purchased programs from those I no longer
see doing business on the net, yet at the time, they
were willing to tell me it was the best program since
sliced bread.

If you are going to play golf with Stevie Wonder, if
you are going to get into the internet business, if you
are going to succeed at what you are doing, you best
research the field before you invest your energy, your
effort or your hopes.

It is always better to have knowledge before you begin
rather than face a myriad of detours after, only
because you didn't look, ask, seek.

One more thing. We recommend this to everyone, even and
maybe especially those who purchase our products, go
inside and see if it feels good. See what your insides
are really telling you about your next step.

In the business world there is the phrase and
commandment "caveat emptor", meaning buyer beware.
However, if you go inside and really listen, not to
your hopes and your own consciousness but to what you
are being told by your Maker, you will never be misled,
you will always get the right instructions.

Think about these things.

Stop The World: I Want To Get Organized!
PART 3 OF 5

In the end, although this farmer's cost for the equipment
was substantial, his stress level was low. He was
relaxed: even a bit excited to see such big machinery
working so smoothly and efficiently. His emotional
and financial cost would also be considerably less.
He was leveraging his time, money, and people skills.

And this is how your body works. It likes the path of
least resistance. It wants the inner paths straight and
relaxed. As soon as you get all worked up about a
problem or the chaos facing you on the desk or your
overbooked calendar, the body goes into a fight /flight
response. This is how high blood pressure (hypertension)
starts. (You have NO control over this automatic response.)
It's terribly unhealthy. The blood flow is no longer
smooth and direct. Normally, when your body is
relaxed, the blood flows to all areas as needed. But
in a fight/flight response, it is restricted to the vital areas
only and everything else "shuts down" until the
emergency is over.

So imagine how many times a day you get into these
"emergency" responses. Then imagine how often your
secondary organs are left without any decent blood
supply. I have to assume you are reading this information
because you are interested in your health. In which
you would like control. These situations are easily
within your control once you make the choice to
TAKE control.

So I give you permission (many people NEED
someone else to give them permission.) to TAKE
time to organize your life. Your desk, your dining room
table, your appointment calendar, etc. MAKE SENSE
OUT OF IT ALL. Create the larger picture of your real
dreams that will help you to achieve your future.
Get rid of the things you don't want to do. Delegate.

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby

--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts

The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places.

The Saga Of Pinehill, The Adventure
is now in bookstores. A controversial and powerful story.
It will change your life. Go to

As you read enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .
----------------

That was enough work for one day. He shut down
the light and headed into the house, looking back
to see the soft glow emitting from the garage.

David well knew it would not take the whole
two weeks to complete his task. The time he took
planning and thinking about it would take longer
than the actual formation of the statue. Yet he
wanted that time to ensure he was thorough.

The following day he spent doing just that,
thinking about the statue. He spent time with Pam,
the kids, and her folks. They went out to see a
local sight, did some more shopping and just
generally did the tourist thing, for the kids.

Grandma and Grandpa Hunter were really warming
up to the kids. This was really the first time
they had spent any time with them and they
appeared to be having a real good time.

The kids were now five and six with little Maz
being the oldest and Mae Eloise being the
youngest. The children were exceptionally well
behaved. Their grandparents found it hard to
believe. Yet it was not from parental pressure or
punishment this condition arose. The children were
well on their way to living by higher law so while
they were seeing new and different things and were
involved presently in an exciting situation, they
already knew this was man's world and that they
had better.

So, the kids knew this was a passing thing,
that the next time they came things would be
different again, and that the only thing that was
permanent in their lives was their Maker inside
them. They, by their own choice and no particular
leading of their parents, felt they wanted to
adhere to higher law.

This condition arose because they saw their
parents as examples. Not only that they saw their
Uncle Maz and their Auntie Eloise as examples.
Beyond that they saw Boolanga and others in the
village as examples and they chose to be like
these people. Somehow the idea of living by higher
law seemed the only natural or logical way to
live.

In fact, deep within them the kids were
wondering why the need for all the automobiles,
the food in the grocery stores, and all the
paraphernalia man seemed to want. One day they had
their Mother aside, alone. "Mom, what is all this
stuff. We don't have this at home. It seems to us
you don't need all this stuff."

"That's right Maz. This is the world in which
man lives. He gets himself pretty busy just trying
to buy all this stuff you see and he genuinely
thinks he is a hero, the best, that he is doing
right and that there is no other way. The majority
of men you meet in your life will be like this.
That is why Dad and I brought you here, to see
this. What you see at home with Mom and Dad and
with Uncle Maz and Auntie Eloise, or Grandpa Henry
or Grandma Henry is the way of life we have chosen
because we saw another way. Living by the
spiritual laws is far easier than living by the
material and physical laws man choses. All men can
live as we do, but they choose not to."

"Why?"

"Because they are that busy in their world
they cannot see. Only a few can see and they make
the choice to live by higher law. You two are
fortunate. You see higher law practiced daily by
those around you. You see higher law as a natural
choice, not a way of life by a group of far out
cultists, but a natural way our Maker wants us to
live. As you become older and wholly perfect your
Mastership you will be called upon to come help
man, just as your Dad and I do when called."

"I like where we live, Mom. I like the way we
live. Grandma and Grandpa have all these things
but they don't seem whole or happy. They seem to
be worried all the time. Everything they do has to
be timed or measured or sacrificed. Can't they see
how life can be easier?"

"No Maz. They have been taught by their
parents and by the church they go to that this is
their lot in life and that they should be happy
with it. They were even mad at your Daddy and I
for making the choice to live by higher law. That
is one of the reasons we chose to go live with
Auntie Eloise. That is even the reason why Grandma
Wiley chose to come live with us. She saw it was
easier to live there than here. Now even she lives
by higher law. Life can be tough to live man's
way. Only when they see through the veil of
simplicity will they then choose higher law."

"Mom," asked Mae Eloise, "will Grandma and
Grandpa learn higher law?"

"Oh, sweetheart. Is that what you want?"

"Yes."

"The truth is honey, I don't know. That is a
choice of theirs and Dad and I cannot interfere.
They must make that choice all by themselves. If
they so decide Dad and I can help, but we will not
force or encourage the decision. We must leave
that to them."

"It seems so hard, Mom."

'Yes, honey, it does."

HA! HA! HA!

A young woman, pursuing a graduate degree in art
history, was going to Italy to study the country's
greatest works of art. Since there was no one to look
after her grandmother while she was away, she took the
old lady with her. At the Sistine Chapel in the
Vatican, she pointed to the painting on the ceiling.

"Grandma, it took Michelangelo a full four years to get
that ceiling painted."

"Oh my, "the grandmother says. "He and I must have the
same landlord."
