Is there such a thing as a vegetarian crocodile?

What is the difference between a crocodile and an
alligator?

ANSWERS TO YESTERDAY'S TRIVIA - - - -
--------------

What is the most popular month for births in the US?

The most popular month for births in the US is August,
followed by October. Statistics indicate that 9.2 percent
of births occur in August.

What are the most intelligent reptiles?

Crocodiles are pretty smart. They are the direct
descendants of the "archosaurs," which until about 65
million years ago ruled the reptile kingdom. They've
had plenty of time to learn and are actually able to
observe behavior and recognize patterns. That's why if
you live in crocodile territory, it's wise to vary your
routine and NOT go to the river the same time each day.
You might find a crocodile lying in wait.

STRANGE BITS AND PIECES!

The banana was officially introduced in 1876 in the U.S. at
the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition. The bananas were
wrapped in tinfoil and were sold for 10 cents each.

Phone rings - - -

Man: "Hello?"

Woman: "Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?"

Man: "Yes."

Woman: "Great! I am at the mall two blocks from where
you are. I just saw a beautiful leather coat. It's
absolutely gorgeous!! Can I buy it?"

Man: "What's the price?"

Woman: "Only $1,000."

Man: "Well, OK, go ahead and get it, if you like it
that much."

Woman: "Ahhh, and I also stopped by the Mercedes
dealership and saw the 2001 models. I saw one I really
liked. I spoke with the salesman, and he gave me a
really good price...and since we need to exchange the
BMW that we bought last year..."

Man: "What price did he quote you?"

Woman: "Only $60,000."

Man: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the
options."

Woman: "Great! But before we hang up, something
else........"

Man: "What?"

Woman: " I stopped by the real estate agent this
morning and saw the house we looked at last year. It's
for sale!! Remember? The one with a pool, English
Garden, acre of park area, beach-front property."

Man: "How much are they asking?"

Woman: "Only $450,000 - a magnificent price. It may
seem like a lot, but I was reconciling your bank
account...and I see that we have enough in the bank to
cover the down."

Man: "Well, then go ahead and buy it, but just bid up
to $420,000. OK?"

Woman: "OK, sweetie...Thanks! I'll see you later!! I
love you!!!"

Man: "Bye...I love you too..."

The man hangs up and closes the phone's flap. The other
men are looking at him in astonishment and derision.
The man holds up the phone and asks "Anyone know who
this phone belongs to?"

I'll bet she thinks he's perfect, right?

Well, guess what? So are you!

That's right. YOU ARE PERFECT!

In the eyes of your Maker and in terms of higher law
you are perfect just the way you are and where you are.

Put your arms around yourself and give yourself a big
hug, because you are worth it.

The great crime in all we learn as we go through life
is that we end up thinking we don't deserve the best.
We think we are not worthy. We think we make mistakes,
we have hurt some people, we have sinned, we are far
less worthy of our Makers attention than anyone else.

While that is what too many people think of themselves,
not out loud, of course, but buried deep inside, it is
in fact garbage and if the truth were known -
blasphemy.

You are a child of your Maker. Is there any way you can
conceive in your mind that your Maker would make or
give birth to anything less than perfect? Then why do
you insist on being less than perfect?

For whatever reasons you are, today, what you are and
where you are because you have used the law with or
without knowledge. The law has worked, always. You may
have used it in ignorance or you may have used it in
knowledge but you are in the perfect set of
circumstances to use higher law for your entire future.

And you, your body, regardless of its condition, is
perfect for it. Rejoice. Love yourself. Hug yourself.
YOU ARE PERFECT!

Dedicate yourself to loving you. Find a friend, a
spouse, a confident, with whom you can share the idea
of loving yourself. And you insist that they learn to
love themselves. Get together once in a while and make
sure each of you knows YOU ARE PERFECT! Make sure each
of you loves yourself.

Do not think this selfish. Consider the words "to thine
own self be true". When you learn to love that broken
body, when you learn to love that person you thought
unworthy, when you learn YOU ARE PERFECT, then good
things will begin to happen for you.

Learn to communicate with your Maker within. Most of us
have to learn to listen. We are okay in the talking
department. Then you can go forward daily with your
Maker giving you all the things you deserve. You can
bet that nothing - that's right, nothing - would allow
your Maker to be happier. Just as you, a father, a
mother, a friend become pleased to give good things to
your children or to others, can you imagine how
wonderfully pleased your Maker is to give to you?

Try it...

You Are Perfect!

To do otherwise what you would not do with love for your

Your Heart And Your Courage:
Both Belong To You
Both Must Be Nurtured And Respected
PART 6 of 11

You have also been born with your intelligence. Once
you really begin to use it to preserve your health,
your courage will automatically grow. As I remind
readers all the time…this is YOUR body: not your
doctor’s. You will have to suffer when thing go wrong:
they won’t. But please remember all the knowledge in
the world will do nothing until it is “covered” by
action. And at that point, something happens to you…you
get it! You suddenly see the need to look after
yourself. Now your courage soars! You are no longer
afraid to ask for clarification or a second opinion. It
may be difficult to find a new doctor, but suddenly you
have the determination to follow a new path to your own
health goals. If you decide it’s too much trouble for
you to ask for more understanding or you feel
intimidated, it can only lead to continuing ignorance.

I want to repeat what I said before. This is your body
and you have the final right to make an informed
decision as to its care. In fact you have an obligation
to look after yourself. That means you must understand
what information you need to be informed, right? How
can you find that out? Ask! It’s that simple. Ignore
negative or discouraging body language. Don’t let
anything stop you from reaching your goal of
controlling your health. One reason mothers are so
successful as mothers is that they will fight for their
families. But will they fight for themselves? Rarely!
Many of us find it easier to fight for someone else, so
fight for your body! As you “journeyed” through you
cardiovascular system, were you not impressed with the
complexity and ability of your body to keep you going?
And you really didn’t have much to do with it. Did you
wonder about all the things that could go wrong? Did
you think of all the things that are right, 24/7?

THE NET'S BEST KEPT SECRET

THE SAGA OF PINEHILL
by Ken Darby

--------------------------------------
Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began
and David Wylie, age 20, were selected by a
stranger in town to take a dangerous trip,
together. The idea was that each was to take
only the clothes on their back and go
anywhere in the world where the stranger
took them. They were to be left there to find
their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they
were. If they arrived back home, there
would be a million dollars waiting in each
of their bank accounts

The story deals with their adventures along
and leads to the only way they could survive.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places.

The Saga Of Pinehill, The Adventure
is now in bookstores. A controversial and powerful story.
It will change your life. Go to
http://www.the-pebble.com OR order yours from
your favorite bookstore. ISBN # 1-4137-4723-X

As you read enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .
----------------

"My, to what do I owe all this affection? I
love you too, sweetheart. Life has been good to us
hasn't it? I can't possibly think of what my life
would have been had I not come down here with
Eloise. That sure led us to some terrific things,
didn't it? I love living down here, and I love
being here with you and the kids." David gave Pam
a big hug and a kiss, right in public. Some of the
kids in the game noticed and whistled cat
whistles.

They walked back up to the hut and disappeared
inside.

Later that day David received a call. He
looked at Pam, who already knew he had the call.
She nodded, and he was off.

He didn't return for two days, and when he did
little Maz queried him as to where he went and
why, what happened.

"Maz, when you live by higher law you are
sometimes asked to go help out some man, woman or
child or many of them, in situations that are
harmful to them. Man, not living by higher law,
gets himself involved with things that his greed
gets him into. Most men want more and more
material goods and that can lead to trouble.
Another thing that leads to trouble is attempting
to protect religious beliefs. Too many men think
it is all right to kill, to protect their
religion, in spite of the admonition in all
religions against killing. And then there is the
youth, people not much older than you.

For some reason Maz, there is a universal
epidemic amongst youth. They get themselves all
tied up with drugs and ruin their lives. Some get
into it for peer pressure. Some because they are
not heard or listened to at home, others because
they think it is an opportunity to make money and
become independent of their parents."

"Dad, when we were visiting Grandma and
Grandpa we saw some kids in a playground. They
weren't having fun like we do with our ball game.
They seemed to be picking on someone. I didn't
like what I was seeing. Are all kids like that up
in Pinehill?"

"Not all Maz, but too many. Life in what is
called the developed countries is very unsettled.
People are striving for more material goods and
have lost sight of what life is about. As they do
this they fail to treat each other properly, and
they are failing their children."

"Where did you go and what was happening?"

"I had to go to a country called Canada, Maz.
It is further north than Pinehill. There was a
young man there who had gotten himself and his
girl hooked on drugs, expensive drugs. He was no
longer living at home and had no source of money,
yet he had to have his drugs. He was on cocain. It
is addictive. It causes young ladies to get into
prostitution, selling their bodies, so they can
raise money for drugs. Young men don't do that,
they gather a bunch of young ladies around them
and force them to do this, then take the money so
they can buy drugs. Some turn to stealing by
breaking into homes and taking whatever they can
find to sell. When they sell this stuff they then
buy drugs. It is a vicious circle they can't get
out of and it literally and absolutely ruins
lives. Those who make it through this period
usually have serious brain trouble, a hard time
holding down a job and find it practically
impossible to handle money. They become a terrible
burden on society."

"Why do they do these things Dad?"

"Mostly because they run up against trouble at
home, son. Parents are so busy trying to get more
money so they can have more things they fail to
spend time with their children. Parents do this
because they falsely believe they are doing it for
their kids. Another situation is that too often
two people are sexually attracted to one another
and think they are in love. They want to marry.
Then the woman gets pregnant and things change
around the house a little. Once that happens there
are arguments that develop and sooner or later
over half of them split up. That means that the
Dad goes one way and Mom goes another. Mom is left
with the kids and has to work just to support
herself and her kids. They have no father around,
and Mother is too long away and too tired to spend
time with them. The whole condition ends up a mess
and the kids hit the streets looking for
entertainment. Once out there they run into
hundreds of others pushing them to get into drugs.
Once they start they're lost."

"Why does man allow that to happen?"

"Allow what to happen, the marriage to break
up of letting the kids hit the streets?

"Both actually."

THINK ABOUT THIS TODAY!

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty
of their dreams." -? Eleanor Roosevelt

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

HA! HA! HA!

There was a job opening in the country's most
prestigious law firm and it finally came down to Robert
and Paul. Both graduated magna cum laude from law
school. Both came from good families. Both were
equally attractive and well spoken. It was up to the
senior partner to choose one, so he took each aside and
asked, "Why did you become a lawyer?"

In seconds, he chose Paul. Baffled, Robert took Paul
aside.

"I don't understand why I was rejected. When Mr.
Armstrong asked me why I became a lawyer, I said that I
had the greatest respect for the law, that I'd lay down
my life for the Constitution and that all I wanted was
to do right by my clients. What in the world did you
tell him?"

"I said I became a lawyer because of my hands," Robert
replies.

"Your hands? What do you mean?"

"Well, I took a look one day and there wasn't any money
in either of them!"
