It's Nice To Be Wanted!
After not seeing each other for quite some time, two elderly
women found themselves at the hairdressers at the same time.
After inquiring about each other, one asked her friend how
her husband was.
"Oh goodness, of course you couldn't know. Jack was out in
the garden last week, digging up some potatoes for dinner,
and he died right there in the potato patch from a heart
attack!"
"I'm so terribly sorry dear," her friend replied. "What did
you do?"
"I opened a can of green beans instead."
Goodness! I hope my wife never thinks like that. Wow!
It makes me think how much I appreciate being wanted.
I'll bet you appreciate being wanted, too.
If that is the case then there is a lesson for us. If we like
being wanted as much as we do, then can you imagine
what you do for others when you make them feel they
are wanted and needed?
And extrapolate that into the business you do, the work
you do in the community, the social life you lead. Look at
what advantages that would have for you, provided you
are genuine to the core.
Am I advocating being nice to others so you can do well
in your business? YES!
Am I saying you should be nice to further your community
life? YES!
Am I telling you to be nice so you are more socially in
demand? YES!
In fact I am telling you that when you are nice to people,
make them feel important, needed and wanted, you are
using the law the way it should be used. I am saying your
life will go much better, be much more prosperous and
happy, when you treat people like you like to be treated.
That sure sounds like the Golden Rule doesn't it? Yet
it goes much further than that.
One of the most fundamental of all laws of the universe
is "As ye sow, so shall ye reap."
It then becomes clear that when you make people feel
wanted, important, you are then using the law in a very
positive way. You know what your rewards shall be.

A Few Basic Essentials To Keep In Mind

Cleaning is simply washing off dirt from the surface of
an object. Disinfection is the removing of harmful
microorganisms from the surface of an object (germs).
Sterilization is the killing of all microorganisms from
the surface of an object. All of these processes have
products to go along with the required/desired
actions.
A cleaning product is usually soap and water. Water
alone would do a lot: soap alone is pretty useless.
Other ingredients added to soap, would be called
detergents. It might have some additives such as a
sheeting ingredient, (it makes the water run down
faster). There are several variations to “soaps” and we
call detergents soaps as well. Then to add to the
confusion we get detergents that are labeled
antibacterial soaps. This means that the product has
been given chemicals to kill bacteria. But as you have
no idea what kind of bacteria, if any, you have, this
is a poor choice. (More about that later.)
A while ago, I heard about a young mother who was often
dizzy and nauseated: had headaches and noises in her
ear. She was using this type of product in her daily
cleaning along with other strong household cleaners.
She was surprised to learn that these might be giving
her these symptoms. When asked why she used such strong
chemical, she replied that someone had told her that in
order to prevent infections in her family; she needed
to do take these precautions. Her nausea, ear noises,
headaches and dizziness disappeared a while after she
stopped using these strong products. (More about this
later.)

You won't believe this folks, I'm going to give you a break
today. There is not much in the news that is any different
either in act or in principle than any of the news we have
been seeing for years.
However, there can be some light that glimmers once in a
while. Would you believe it, the Palestinians are actually
talking about a plan that would recognize Israel as a state.
Wow! That would be a huge step forward by that group.
And there are other good things happening around the world,
isolated little signs here and there on things that could
help mankind. Things like a vacine for the bird flu, new
product inventions etc.
I guess it is a good thing to keep up one's hopes for a
better tomorrow.

Half-Seas Over: Why do we say an intoxicated person is
"half-seas over"?
It's a nautical phrase and originated with the thought that
a ship that is halfway across the sea will keep on going
rather than turn back. But the application of the expression
to an intoxicated person was strengthened by a pun - for the
English imported from Holland a strong beer which the Dutch
called op-zee-zober, meaning "oversea beer".
