No sooner do I finish an article on using good english,
but someone else throws a curve at us.
I don't know why the above message works, but it does.
Yet, folks, we should still use good english, correct
spelling and proper grammar.
Good clear communication is tough enough without
learning the above will work. Think of it as funny, but don't
use it as an excuse to permit poor spelling.
I notice many mistakes when I go through the material
I write. I hope I catch all of them. However, since the
worst proofer in the world is the one who did the writing,
there is a better than excellent chance things get through.
That is why, when I can, I like to have someone else
read it, too. Another good trick to use is to put it aside
and come back to it in a couple or three hours.
Now the point here is not that I'm an english nut, that I
get upset when I see poor use of the language. The point
here is that when you use the language in a way that
gets your message across to your audience, whether it
be one or a thousand, then everybody is happier. It is
most important for ones progress to be able to
communicate in a way where one's audience
understands quickly.
Actually, I can't think of anything that can advance a
career faster than good strong communications skills
coupled with a good memory. Think on that, long and
hard.
The language you use is a magnificent tool and it's
correct use will go far to putting bread and butter on
your table and dollars in your pockets.

There are two places where you need to remove
a checkmark.
First, from Word's menu, go to Tools, then AutoCorrect
Options, and then, AutoFormat As You Type. Uncheck
the option "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks."
Then, click on the AutoFormat tab. Uncheck the box
next to "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks."

To open cupboard doors, put a nice soft cloth into
the handle...or better still get a high school
student to make a S shape tool to fit into the
handle and then easily loop for their fingers. A
padded stainless steel shoehorn from a shoe store
would be really good for this as well. Again, pad
the end that is pulled. This tool could be taken
lots of places instead of staying only in one
room. And make sure all drawers and cupboards open
smoothly without sticking. (Spray with silicone
when no one is in the area will be helpful. Be
careful not to breathe it in yourself.) Have a
cushioned chair in the kitchen for frequent
resting. Move as much kitchen equipment to the
lower shelves or put them out of reach and out of
sight...so the temptation to use them is gone. See
what you can make mobile...with wheels, but be
careful not to make them too smooth as the item
might "run away" from them. Use Lazy Susan's' too.
They can be turned by an elbow and can have
several stacks or layers. Do they have slippery or
small handles for spoons and brushes or knives and
forks, making eating and meal preparation
difficult? Then use the foam plumbing padding for
pipes to surround the ends. (Just split the side
and place the handle into it, then close it with
tape.) Or wrap sufficient layers of a slip-proof
material around the handles. But remember that
these items have to be washed, so make that part
easy. And yes, it will be frustrating at the
beginning, but it's well worth the effort. And
don't forget writing things like pens or pencils.
You can slip "grips" onto any pen or pencil to
prevent it from falling out of their hands.

David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.

on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

allow these things to own you. Make nothing more important
than higher law and your Maker. You know you can have
anything you want, because of higher law. Therefore, nothing
you presently have should be so important to you that you
cannot let it go. Taking any of this 'worldly' baggage with you
will only hamper and impede the things you can do and have.
Most people want money. Yet, you have no need of money,
when you can manifest anything you want or need. Only in
this way will you be able to go the complete journey into higher
law, Ben. You must give up your life if you would have
life." Sam explained.
"I am not sure I understand Sam." Ben came back, "I can
see there is nothing for me in material goods. I am not
concerned about that. Yet I sense you are coming to
something else."
"I am, Ben. If you would overcome death you must first give
up your life. By that, I don't mean you must die. I mean that
even your life you must forfeit, if you would live. You must
detach from the importance of yourself, your life. Even that
you must give up. You are now able to move from this life into
others, Ben, but only when this one is no longer so important
to you that you are unwilling to leave it. Overcoming death is
no large step, Ben. It is only the completion of your preparing
to live completely in higher law. So what I am saying to you
is that you must make the conversion to higher law complete,
if you would serve yourself and your fellow man." Sam
told him.
"I am quite willing to do that, Sam. I can already see I spent
years going down the wrong track. I can see from what I
have already accomplished here with you, that I must give
up my life. That is to say, give up ownership of it. I know and
understand I will live, that you are not saying I should do
something to kill myself. I know the difference. What you want
me to do is give no more thought to my life, or my safety. I
must realize I can do anything, that that will keep me safe,
that I no longer need worry about having food or water close
by, or worry about someone pointing a gun at me. That I know
that living by higher law I can take care of all these things.
Even if I cannot then some master will be there to help me.
Is that what you mean." asked Ben.
"Your lessons are complete, Ben. If you take that lesson to
heart so that from this moment you think not of you, then
you are an accomplished master. Now, I think we should
talk of the press people will put on you, wanting you to do
things for them." Sam was moving on to application of the
knowledge.
"If you mean people always wanting miracles, Sam, I think
I know about that. I witnessed the crowds wanting everything
from being healed to wanting money, when you had that
fiasco with the churches. Once folks know I am capable they
will be after me as they are after you. Is that what you
mean?" Ben asked.
"That's it Ben. But tell me why you don't do it. Wouldn't it be
nice to help one and all with their difficulties?" asked Sam.
"Sure it would! But the problem is they just don't stop. They
want one problem solved and then they are after you for the
next one, and the next and the next. They soon come to rely
on you for everything and do nothing for themselves. They
learn nothing. They do not advance. They become slaves
and beggars. Doing any of that kind of work is not only non
productive, it is counterproductive." said Ben.
"Yes it is." said Sam, "That is why you must always discern.
You are able to 'see' into their hearts, Ben. You are able to
'read' their thoughts. Serve those who are on the path,
individually. Others you must serve globally, in groups."
"I can see that Sam." replied Ben.
"Why don't we go see Miguele and Abetta? Take me
there, Ben." said Sam.
Without hesitation, as if it were perfectly natural, Ben put
his mind on both Miguele and on Abetta.
"I sense they are not both in the same place Sam. Which
one would you like to visit first?" asked Ben.
"Let's go see Miguele. He is nearly finished his day
anyway." answered Sam.
Within the instant, with Ben doing the directing, they were
leaning up against Miguele's truck, waiting for him to return
from his last delivery of the day.

I did a little more web work today, put out a bunch of
newsletters and had a happy interview with a thankful
client.
I had a client who was thinking he wasn't getting much
attention from his newsletter. We had only sent out three,
so I don't know what he really expected. However, he
called me last night saying that four of his customers
had commented to him last week, on his newsletter. It
seems they like it.
He was some excited, and began to realize that folks get
addicted to reading the newsletter. He was a pretty
happy camper.
