The twenty dollar bill is just the first to be changed. It

ahead of counterfeiters, many of whom now work from
home with computer technology, the Feds plan to
introduce new designs every seven to ten years.

Nope. In 1869, US bills ranging from one dollar to one
thousand dollars were printed in a variety of colors. In
1905, the twenty dollar bill featured yellow and gold,

"Often the difference between the successful man or woman and
a failure is not one's abilities or ideas, but the courage one
has to take a risk and to act on those abilities and ideas."
Those wise words from Maxwell Maltz remind us that success in
life is likely to involve some intelligent risk.
Those closest to you are not always supportive when you want
to take a risk, are they? Sometimes this is because they are
unwilling to take risks themselves. Sometimes it is because
it threatens what they define as security. No doubt there are
other reasons, however, will you let that stop you if you know
that this is the best thing for you to be doing next?
The key to risk is make it "intelligent". That intelligence
requires the mind, the heart and the gut operating
simultaneously If the heart and gut say no, it will be clearly
very difficult to bring passion to anything, no matter how
mundane. If only the mind is interested in the project, it
may never get off the ground. Things considered "calculated"
risks, are easier.
Think of the times you have not taken a risk--times when you
talked yourself out of doing something only to regret it
later. What can you learn from these times? What held you
back? Was it lack of self-confidence, funds, time, or some
other commodity? Was it fear of failure? Where would you be
now if you had chosen to proceed?
Risk it.intelligently!

Health Question About
Fibromyalgia & Arthritis

HEALTH QUESTION: Hi there, I have a question. I had an x-ray
confirming I have "degenerative lippings" in my neck. Is this
Osteoarthritis? I am 32, what can I expect to happen in the
future as I age?
(1) Will this cripple me?
(2) I also have fibromyalgia.... which is painful, but at least it isn't
degenerative!
(3) Any help you can offer in answering my questions is greatly
appreciated... as I have searched a bunch of different websites,
but none actually specify what "degenerative" lippings are.
(4) Since I have had the Fibromyalgia in my upper back, I have the
degenerative lippings, I have had constant "bloatedness"
(5) I now have a sluggish bowel, occasional swelling of my
leg calves, eyes sore & swollen, jaw aches, inflamation in
my shoulders, neck & upper back. I never sleep well, wake
sore and unrefreshed. I feel like I am 90
(6)! Thanks so much for you're time.
(4) "Degenerative" lippings is a term I could not find, but if
you think about the wearing out of the soft and bony tissue, it
should be easy to see how these would develop. I can easily
picture "sandblasting" your joints and bones wherever they are
exposed to the disease process (free radicals). Our reader
mentioned many of the classic signs of Fibromyalgia. If you
think this could be of more interest to you as well, I urge you
to study what can be done to halt this condition and how you can
take back control. There are many links included here. Please
use this information only as a stepping stone to more research
and a visit to your health care provider.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

Alewka left, with the admonition that he should join them
when he thought he was ready. She had shown him
where the bathroom was, towels, face clothes, soap, etc.
So there was nothing, now, that Billy had need for that
he didn't know where it was.
Billy sat on the bed for a while. He just pondered his
new situation. It was almost too good to be true. He
couldn't believe it.
He lay back on the bed. It was soft and comfortable. It
was a good quality bed and supported him. Unlike the one
he had slept on for years where he had to sleep around
springs coming up through the mattress.
He decided he liked it here. He decided he would stay
until they tried doing anything funny. He put them on
probation. "They do good or I'm outta here!" he thought.
Soon he opened his eyes and he heard strange voices
downstairs. He had no idea how long he had been there,
but he must have drifted off. He rose and walked downstairs.
Suddenly he stopped in his tracks. He knew that man.
He knew that voice. He panicked. He turned suddenly
and ran up the stairs. What was he going to do. This man
had surely come for him. Those Henrys, they turned him
in. What a crooked bunch they were. They soft peddle
you, just to con you into doing their things. I've got to
get out of here.
Too late. He heard footsteps on the stairs. He couldn't
go anywhere. There was nowhere to go except out that
door and that was being blocked by whoever was coming
up the stairs.
The door opened. Just as Billy thought. Oh yeah! Here
we go again. What a mess this is.
"Hello Billy!" said a booming, but kind and loving voice.
Ben Striker was broadcasting love unto him and Billy
felt it.
He couldn't believe what was happening. He was
looking for places to hide, much like a mouse when
there's a cat in the room. He could turn nowhere.
"Don't worry Billy. I'm not here for you. That is what I
came to tell you. I am no longer with the police, Billy. I
retired and I am here visiting as a friend of the Henrys,
much the same as you. I have nothing I want from you
Billy and I am not here to take you anywhere. When
Mr. and Mrs Henry told me you were here I was very,
very pleased Billy. This is a good home. I think you'll
like it here. Can you and I be friends, too?" asked Ben,
holding out his hand in friendship.
This was too much for Billy. He didn't know how to
react to this. This is the man that had put him in a cell
three or four times. This was one of his enemies. He
didn't know how to react.
"Billy, my friend Sam Henry is the reason I retired from
the police force. Sam has learned a very special way
to live. So has his entire family. I wanted to live that way,
too, Billy, so I asked Sam to show me the way. I am
extremely fortunate to have a friend like Sam. It is because
he loves mankind so much that he is willing to help them
out, and that is what they are doing with you, at least until
you decide to do something else. You can live here as long
as you wish or you can leave this instant, if you want Billy.
Not the Henrys nor I will force you to do anything against
your will. I thought I best come and tell you these things. I
am a friend of the Henrys and you will likely see me here
fairly often. I don't want you to be afraid of that. Is that okay
with you?" asked Ben as he once more held out his hand.
This was all new to Billy. How was he supposed to react?
"One thing you might want to think about Billy, is that when
I was a policeman, I did things that were my job. I was never
your enemy Billy. I just could not do anything any different
when one of my men picked you up. I am no longer in that
position and I cannot any longer do those things. Don't look
upon me as the enemy. I never did have anything but love
for you Billy. You were, up to this day, a complete victim of
the circumstances under which you lived. You were never
given any training on how to put your life together. Now,
here, with the Henrys, you have a chance to look at the
world through different eyes. Now you can relax and put
your life together so it is fun and enjoyable for you. And, if
you let me, I'd like to be a part of that. Will you let me?" and
once more Ben put out his hand in friendship.
"Y-y-yes, Mr. Striker. There has been a lot happen to me
today. I thought sure you were here to get me. I thought
sure the Henrys had turned me in." said Billy, taking Ben's
offered hand.
"Good! Let's go down and join the others." said Ben.
