Starting your own free newsletter is a great way to target the
market, earn customers and stay in touch with them. At the
same time by running an ezine you may build an image for you
and for your business and to earn poeple's respect
2. Participate actively on Message boards and Discussion lists.
Before subscribing check if they have an item close related to
your business. This way you may be sure you're in touch with
people interested in what you sell. By actively participating on
Messages boards and Discussion list you can earn an expert
status. On the other hand, you will be allowed to post either
a full SIG (your signature) file or, at a minimum, your name and
URL (your website address)
3.Drive traffic to your website.
There are several ways to send visitors to your business site
- get listed in search engines and directories,
- request a link from sites complementary to yours,
- write articles that include your URL in the resource box,
- start an affiliate program,
- use paid and free online advertising,
- sign online guestbooks where appropriate.
4. Barter and Partner
You can gain some free publicity by trading your services or

Word 2000
Word 2000 provides many ready-made shapes,
called AutoShapes, that you can add to your
document. Word can only display AutoShapes
in the Print Layout and Web Layout views.
To place an AutoShape in your document,
follow these steps:
Choose View, then Toolbars, then Drawing toolbar.
Click AutoShapes. Then click the type of AutoShape
you want to add. Click the AutoShape you want to
add. Position the mouse plus sign where you want
to begin drawing the AutoShape. Drag the mouse
plus sign until the AutoShape is the size you want.
The AutoShape appears in your document. The
handles around the AutoShape let you change the
size of it. To hide the handles, click outside the
AutoShape anywhere in your document.

Health Question On Positioning
PART 1 of 4
I received a question about positioning from a reader quite a
while ago. I sensed it had to do with possible litigation, so I
won't include all the factors. But it was unique.
And I thought it would bring out some very different kind of
"thinking". In essence, the patient was depressed and in the
local hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for observation.
This is a fairly routine procedure. Most small and medium size
hospitals have ICUs, but some don't have any psychiatric units
where this could also be done. (And in my mind, more
appropriately.)
I was asked if anyone had a responsibility to make sure the
person was turned to prevent tissue damage. In my response, as I
always do in this column, I cautioned against using this
information for any other purpose than education. Please respect
my wish.
Here is some of my thinking. I knew the patient was depressed.
But they were "otherwise healthy". However, there was also a
concern about pressure on the body and injuries at the wrist and
ankles. This could mean that the person is restrained. That
would then be done at ankles and or wrists. But if the person
was that agitated, positioning would not probably be an issue,
unless other problems arose.)
Healthy people don't need to be turned unless they have some
kind of medical problem that prevents them from turning
naturally in bed. Most of us turn automatically during sleep.
Healthy patients don't get wedged between railings and
mattresses. They will wake up and move themselves.

David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.

on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

Things were happening so fast for Billy he was a bit
bewildered. He was glad he didn't have to deal with
his foster parents, at least for a while. This stay at the
Henry's would at least be a break from that. But what
was the police chief doing here? Not at the Henry's but
in his life? That was an odd one. He couldn't figure it out.
He walked down the stairs following Ben Striker, as if
he were in a daze. It was like being on a ride at the
State Fair, where you could see what was happening
but had no control over your person at all.
Oh well. He would go along with it for a while just to
see what happens.
They arrived in the kitchen, where, as usual, everyone
was seated around the kitchen table talking, and sipping
on coffee.
Billy and Ben joined them.
"Hi Billy. You must have had a nap. You've been up there
for two hours." said Alewka.
"Yeah! I guess I was tired. I was sure surprised to see
Mr. Striker." he answered.
"Ha! Ha! I'll bet you were. I'll bet you thought we turned
you in for something. No, Billy, Ben is just a friend. I hope
you come to find that out. You could sure have worse folks
on your side. Have you met our neighbor, Sue Miles?
Sue! This young man is Billy Hendricks. He is going to
be staying with us for a while." said Alewka.
"Hi Billy! You better get used to seeing me. I spend more
time over here than I do at my own house." said Sue,
holding out her hand.
"Hello Mrs. Miles." said Billy.
"Here, Billy. Come sit down." said Tim, moving over to
another chair and making room for Billy.
That left Sam, Alewka, Tim, Tom, Sue Miles, Ben Striker
and Billy all at the kitchen table. Seven in all. They were
chatting up a storm, with everyone animated, laughing
and enjoying the get together.
Before they knew it the time had come for supper.
Alewka got up to begin preparations.
"Alewka, don't get any supper for me. I have to return
home. Thank you for the afternoon folks, and Billy, it's
good to have you here. Enjoy." said Ben, and once more
he offered his hand in friendship to Billy.
Billy took it, a little more confidently this time, although he
was still on his guard.
The moment Ben's hand left Billy's, Ben disappeared. He
had vanished to go home. Billy had not seen anything like
that before.
"What happened? Where did he go?" he asked.
Sam smiled, "There are likely going to be a lot of things
happen around here Billy, that you have not seen before.
We'll try to take it easy on you but just to let you know, we
live by what we call higher law. That means we can do
anything we think of. We are able to manifest all we need,
have all the answers to questions we need answered, and,
like Ben, we can travel from one place to another simply
by 'seeing' ourselves in the place we want to go. I know
that likely sounds a bit farfetched right now, but you did
see Ben disappear, and earlier today you saw Tom take
care of you ribs and Tim take care of your foster mothers
injuries. Don't let all this fool you Billy, or frighten you. We
will all explain it to you as you ask questions or as we see
you need an answer."
"Wow! I never knew you could do that. Wow!" was Billy's
only response.
Alewka brought out a meal of savory roast beef and
mashed potatoes and gravy. The smell caught Billy's
nostrils and he could hardly believe it. He had never smelled
that in his old place. He was instantly hungry.
The table was set and the meal began. Billy came back
for a third helping of everything. Sam and Alewka smiled
at each other. "You are one hungry kid, Billy. I sure hope
you enjoy the meal." said Sam.
"Oh! Mr. Henry, this is terrific. I never eat like this at my place.
I mean at the other place. Are you saying I don't have to go
back there?" asked Billy.

HA! HA! HA!
The coach had put together the perfect team for
the Pittsburgh Steelers. The only thing that was missing
was a good quarterback. He had scouted all the
colleges and even the Canadian and European
Leagues, but he couldn't find a quarterback who
could ensure a Super Bowl win.
Then one night while watching CNN he saw a
war-zone scene in Afghanistan. In one corner of the
background, he spotted a young Afghan Muslim
soldier with a truly incredible arm. He threw a
hand-grenade straight into a 15th story window
100 yards away. KABOOM! He threw
another hand-grenade 75 yards away, right into a
chimney. KA-BLOOEY! Then he threw another at a
passing car going 90 mph. BULLS-EYE!
"I've got to get this guy!" Coach said to himself. "He
has the perfect arm!"
So, he brings him to the States and teaches him the
great game of football. And the Steelers go on to win
the Super Bowl. The young Afghan is hailed as the
great hero of football, and when the coach asks him
what he wants, all the young man wants is to call
his mother.
"Mom," he says into the phone, "I just won the
Super Bowl!"
"I don't want to talk to you," the old Muslim woman
says. "You deserted us. You are not my son!"
"I don't think you understand, Mother," the young man
pleads. "I've won the greatest sporting event in the
world. I'm here among thousands of my adoring fans."
"No! Let me tell you!" his mother retorts. "At this very
moment, there are gunshots all around us. The
neighborhood is a pile of rubble. Your two brothers
were beaten within an inch of their lives last week,
and I have to keep your sister in the house so she
doesn't get attacked!"
The old lady pauses, and then tearfully says, "I will
never forgive you for making us move to Pittsburgh!
