What exactly does "Eureka!" mean?
Eureka is a form of the Greek word "heureka," meaning "I
have found it." The word, used to express excitement or
triumph on a discovery, is attributed to Archimedes, an
ancient Sicilian philosopher, on discovering a method for
determining the purity of gold. According to the story,
Archimedes was trying to determine whether a crown presented
to the ruler of Syracuse was pure gold or alloyed with an
inferior metal. One day, Archimedes stepped into his bath
and the water overflowed. Most of us would curse and reach
for the towel, but Archimedes had a sudden insight. He
realized that objects of equal weight but different density,
when immersed, displace different amounts of water. This is
the principle of specific gravity. Since gold has a
different density than other metals, immersing the crown in
water could determine whether it was pure gold or not.
Archimedes was so excited by his realization that he is said
to have jumped out of the public bath and run home naked,
shouting "Heureka! Heureka!"
What is "escape velocity"?
Escape velocity is a scientific term referring to the speed
needed for an object to be propelled from the surface of a
planet and not fall back. The escape velocity for Earth is
6.96 miles per second. That means an object must travel at
least 7 miles per second to leave Earth's gravitational
influence.

Words Get Twisted In Time
Two men were talking together. The first challenged the
other, "If you are so religious, let's hear you quote the
Lord's Prayer. I bet you $10 you can' t."
The second responded, "Now I lay my down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep. And If I die before I
wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take."
The first pulled out his wallet and fished out a ten
dollar bill, muttering, "I didn't think you could do it!"
Not only with time do our words get changed and twisted,
but the more minds they go through will get them
reworded as well.
It puts me in mind of that party game where you stand
fifteen or twenty people up in a row. Whisper something
into the ear of the first person and ask them to pass it on.
Then go stand at the end of the line and have your
message whispered into your ear. The message you
receive is not likely going to be the one you sent.
We all know the above is not the Lord's Prayer, but the
joke does go to showing us what happens to the words
we utter.
We not only must cross racial tendencies, ethnic changes,
language barriers, and customs, we must now recognize
that each person wants to put their own twist on the
message.
Hence the value of autoresponders, at least for internet
marketers. That way they know the same message is
going out whenever someone asks.
That might prove to be a good way to get out any
message where you want the original to reach the
mind of the recipient.
All this leads to speculation that what we say on a web
site is not likely understood, in the way we wanted.
Oh such troubles with communication. It's no wonder
man has a hard time getting along. Not only does the
language and custom barrier have to be crossed, but it
is clear most are working from their own agenda. Is it
any wonder communication is difficult?
If we only had this drilled into our heads when we were
in school. It would be a great aid to the young for them
to know the competition they will face in trying to get
their message heard.
In many families, too, there is communication difficulties.
It stems mostly from folks having their own agenda,
having broken away from the common one.
So remember, when you are trying to communicate,
the clearer and shorter the message the more likely
the results will be as you want.

Other Dental Issues Affecting Health and Longevity
Infections are not the only dental issues confronting
individuals who wish to free themselves of existing
disease, improve their health and extend their lives.
Nor is oral infection the only dental issue that the
physician and other health professionals must consider.
A number of other dental issues can increase the risk
and severity of other, more serious diseases. They are:
1. Fillings (amalgam/silver amalgam) containing
mercury;
2. Failed root canals;
3. Infected extraction sites (cavitations);
4. Signs and symptoms of other diseases; and
5. Sensitivity to dental materials.
Amalgam Fillings and the Mercury Issue Mercury is the
most toxic, naturally occurring metal on this planet.
It is a potent poison, more toxic than arsenic, and
even one molecule in the body will do it harm. Research

The fire this night was just like the fires the
villagers had nearly every night. There were guests here
this night, lots of them. Yet, there were some missing.
Sam, Ben and Miguele had all been called away. They were
in Indonesia. There was a man there who was attempting to
make political gains. He had found an arms cache from an old
war, armed some men, kids mostly, and was now shooting and
killing his way through the country.
The kids were boys not yet twenty. With guns they
thought they were kings and could do anything. That is
exactly how they behaved.
Their sex drive was in overdrive and because of their
"status" they felt they could have any woman they wanted.
There was no such thing as mutual desire. They took what
they wanted and if the woman caused any difficulty after,
they merely shot her. Life was cheap in this land.
This had been going on for months now. The leader was
not gaining many recruits until he let his men have free
reign. Once the youth of the land saw what they thought were
advantages they came in droves. They came to the
indoctrination centers and from there were sent to base
camp.
There they were trained in terrorism tactics, house to
house combat, making weapons from anything they found, how
to survive in the jungle without food.
The idea that they could do what they wanted in the
villages was something they laughed at. As far as they were
concerned it was great to be able to have any woman they
wanted when they wanted. In this army it was made clear that
women were to be used. No one would stop them.
As a result the soldiers created terror wherever they
went. The villages closest to the base camp received the
worst punishment. The young recruits would come out of camp
and the first village they came to they would put their
training to practice. So, every class that came out of base
camp would tear through these villages with a vengeance.
Some of the women in this town had been raped a hundred
times. It was a curse to be a beautiful woman in these
times.
Sam, Ben and Miguele knew exactly what was going on.
They had all seen what power and weapons can do to the ego
of a young man whose libido was out of control. They were
worse than animals. To call them such would be a disservice
to animals. These young men turned themselves into the scum
of the earth.
The men realized they had two tasks to perform. They had
to stop the training in the camps and they had to reach all
the men who had already been trained and were out in the
field.
Sam took the training camp. Ben and Miguele took to the
field.
Sam was swift and certain in his work. The first thing
he did was to restrict the barrels of all the weapons on
base. It was not long before men and boys were showing up
with burnt faces, pieces missing from hands, themselves
terrorized.
It brought the camp to a standstill. The recruits, their
teachers and the leaders of the movement were all affected.
Every weapon they brought on base was affected and useless.
No one wanted to try using them for fear they, too, would
backfire.
This single act was causing the leader to lose his
credibility.
When they were all in a state of confusion, Sam caused
himself to appear. He was dressed in a white gown and caused
his aura to stand out from him 10 feet, shining.
He called the leaders out of the house in which they
were headquartered. Three appeared on a porch, looking down
at Sam. The were superior in their attitudes. "Who is this
man? Where did he come from? Grab him." was the command.
Sam simply held up his hand and everyone froze where
they were, except for the three on the porch.
"You teach men to kill indiscriminantly. You teach them
to rape and plunder. You teach them to terrorize. This you
do to suit your own personal purposes and selfish reasons.
You do harm to the people and the country. From this day you
shall be useless in all you do. You shall yourselves be
terrorized by those you now reign terror upon. You shall
from this day be unable to have sex with any woman. Your
tool shall be filled with excruciating pain when you even
think of a woman in a sexual way. It will debilitate you and
you will be unable to do anything for 30 minutes each time
you think of a woman in a sexual way. Moreover, any man you
touch shall thereafter suffer the same, except those you
have heretofore terrorized. Those who are on their way to
join you shall suffer the same fate. The men here in camp
also have the same malady. You shall be made to look a fool
wherever you shall travel and people all over the land shall
laugh at you and your men. If you rebel against this edict
you shall be stripped of your clothing and hung upside down
in village squares where you shall be thoroughly disgraced
and humiliated. There you shall remain until you are nearly
dead, then you shall be brought down, to survive, so you may
go through this many times. You shall suffer this as many
times as you have caused women to be raped in this land.
Even now your men, wherever they be, are being visited with
the same plague. You are finished."
Sam had let them have what they had been handing out.
The three leaders laughed at him. "Who are you to say
these things? I will have any woman I wa . . . ." The man
stopped mid sentence and was bent over in terrible pain.
