There Are Times You Want No Mistakes!

A local funeral home gives families the chance to
chose the music CD they would like to enter the
service to.
One family asked to enter to Elvis Presley's hit,
"Love me Tender."
Well the day of the funeral arrived and the music
was started ready for the family to walk in to the
service.
Unfortunately the wrong track number was entered
into the CD player, and the family found themselves
walking in to, "Return to Sender."
Cute huh? There are times and places where one
does not want to make a mistake, and a funeral is
certainly one of them.
In fact all forms of public presentation are areas where
you don't want to make a mistake. That includes web
pages, newsletters, or other forms of public
communication where the least little error has a
tendency to affect your audience's perception of you.
I have spent time in the graphics department of
newspapers where we are concerned with ads and
the layout of a paper. You should see how some
editors ride the staff over spelling, grammar and the
like. These people know that misspelled words tend
to lower the respect one has for the publication.
Being in graphics work for so long, I, too, can spot a
mistake a mile away. I can tell you what pride the artist
takes in their work, simply by looking at it.
That is what you must consider when you present
yourself publicly. It not only holds true for anything you
write, or a web site, or a speech, it holds true for your
countenance, your clothes, your attitude.
I have spent time in the real estate industry as well. I
used to tell my salespeople that a sloppy car means a
sloppy realtor. If I see a realtor with a sloppy vehicle,
sloppily dressed, sloppy of manner, attitude and behavior,
I will not deal with them because the law is the way you
do one thing is the way you do everything.
Consider that. The way you do anything is the way
you do everything. That's the way it works, folks, sorry.
My Dad used to tell me time and time again, "If something
is worth doing, it is worth doing right." What he meant,
and the message finally got through, is to take pride
in yourself, your work and who and what you do.
Insist that things you do be done correctly,
regardless whether you are getting paid or not.
Insist things are done right, and completed, not
left half done, if you have any sense of pride in
your work.
What you do, what you leave behind you tells
a BIG story of who and what you are. What kind
of a story are you telling?

Assigning a Password to a User Account
in Windows XP
You can assign a password to your user account to prevent other
people from accessing the account. You will need to enter the
password each time you want to use Windows. If you have a
computer administrator account, you can assign passwords to all
accounts. If you have a limited account, you can assign a
password only to your own account.
To assign a password to a user account:
Click start to display the Start menu.
Click Control Panel to change your computer's settings.
The Control Panel window appears.
Click User Accounts to work with the user accounts set
up on your computer.
The User Accounts window appears.
If you have a limited account, skip to Step 5.
If you have a computer administrator account, the accounts
set up on your computer are displayed.
Click the account you want to assign a password to.
A list of tasks that you can perform to change the account
appears.
Click Create a password to assign a password to the
account.
Type a new password for the account.
To confirm the password, type it again.
Type a word or a phrase that can help you remember the
password. (This information will be available to
everyone who uses the computer.)
Click Create Password.

Chronic Illness And The Family:
Understanding It And Offering Some Support.
PART 1 of 6
One of the most rewarding careers in nursing has to
be the job of the home support care team. It comes
under many different names and formations, but
basically it is a group of health care workers assigned
to visit sick people in their own homes. The reason
can vary from someone not ill or infirm enough to be
placed into a care facility, or a someone newly
diagnosed with a chronic illness, or someone just
out of hospital to save facility costs, new baby, etc.
The end result is that some form of nursing care
has to be provided to this person. There are several
benefits to providing the care in their homes.
The best one is that the nurse sees the "whole person".
This makes assessment and teaching much easier.
Nurses are trained to adapt their teaching TO the client:
not to textbook care.
Here we see real life in action. And that is life surrounded
by immediate and extended family members.
In a hospital setting, the client /patient will be in a very
controlled / abnormal atmosphere…an almost sterile
situation…johnny shirt with back flopping open, little
or no privacy, dignity left at the hospital doors, family
members are "visitors" and not always welcome
(although this is changing.) The medical team is in
control, the patient is seen as co-operative or difficult.
Things are done TO them, not with them. And I might
add…at unusual times. Normal lifestyles are
suspended: conformity is the expected. This is not
a normal, but necessary environment. So it's desirable
to have the patient return home as soon as possible.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

Jesus stepped forward and raised his hands. Unto the
group was bestowed an immediate blessing of intense
love, felt in every heart.
"Unto men is given the freedom of choice. Many there
are who feel all things of man are much more important
than those things of higher law, that I taught so many
years ago. These two have chosen to follow those
teachings. They have become masters of those teachings,
and have done much work to aid mankind in many ways.
One represents those whose hearts are pure, have never
strayed, but kept always looking for the answers that beat
within her heart. The other represents those who go
astray, far astray, suffer the beating of the law they inflicted
upon themselves, and have come to the realization they
have within themselves the power to be a master. Each
chose. Each made a choice, as all men can, and each
shall hereafter enjoy the blessings of living in their Father's
world. While they remain in earth, by their choice, they
shall serve mankind. They shall raise a family and the
family shall learn higher law. Let these two serve as
examples unto you, that by making the choice to follow
my teachings you, too, shall become a master. Unto
these two I give my eternal blessings for by their example
they serve." Jesus reached out and gently,
simultaneously, touched the heads of Romano and
Oomano.
There was a loud sobbing from the rear of the group of
guests. They were the uncontrollable sobs of a woman.
Jesus moved around Romano and Oomano and walked
down the aisle toward the sounds. There he stopped.
Maria Sanchez knew who this was. That she, in her lifetime,
would ever see the man Jesus, was overwhelming to her.
Jesus reached out and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Fear not Maria for there is nothing but love that prevails
here this day. You have left your profession to follow me.
I am pleased with this. Yet you have not yet crossed the
veil of simplicity. Regardless of your efforts you have within
you a distrust you are making the right move. This moment
that has been removed from you and you are now able to
choose your direction without hinderance. May the blessings
of love be yours, Maria."
Returning to the front Jesus once more raised his
arms. "Unto you who are masters, welcome. Unto you
who wish to learn, I have this moment removed any
impediment to reaching your objective. Should you,
this day, choose to live by higher law, that shall then
be a permanent condition." He stepped aside.
Muhammed moved to the front. "In this land and in the
lands wherein you reside you shall meet many Moslems.
Many there are in that religion who feel, only because
they want to feel, that I taught things inconsistent with
what my brother here has taught. They are foolish, for
I taught the same things, using different words, and the
interpreters of those words have taken large groups
of my people away from the truth. Know this that these
two have lived their lives as masters in ways of which
I heartily endorse. I instruct all those who purport to
follow me, to live as these two, spreading love, not
hatred, peace, not war, kindness to all, not only
moslems." and he stepped back.
Budha move forward. "The truth is the truth for all men
in all lands at all times. None are separated, except as
they themselves decide. In so separating they lose out
on the blessing I taught them. They shall miss out on
the benefits of truth and higher law. They shall continue
to struggle through a world of untruth, confusion and
heartache. Only by following the truth of higher law can
one live as your Maker intended. Listen with your hearts. Do."
Budha moved back with Jesus and Muhammed.
All three raised their hands in blessing and a light of
brilliance encompassed all present.
They were gone.
The group, as always when this type of visit occurred,
was silent for quite some time. The impact of the visit
left them preferring to savour all that had happened,
and that is what they were doing.
Sien once more, slowly, moved to the front. He signaled
the drums to begin, and they started slowly picking up
a rhythm that brought the group back to the present.
"Unto you I send my blessings. Unto this couple I give
my blessings and my love."
The drums rolled.
Moving to one side, he turned Romano and Oomano
around to face the guests, "I now pronounce Romano
and Oomano man and wife."
