The Advantage Of Setting Goals.

A man was driving from his home up to Thunder Bay,
Ontario to visit friends. While there, he was involved in
a collision with another car, but the other driver left the
scene of the accident. He reported it to the police,
who looked into it, and told him the next day that
the car that hit him was a stolen vehicle. The man was
able to drive his pickup truck home, only to find when
he got home that, lo and behold, his car was stolen!
Sure enough, the car that hit him several hundred
miles from home was his own.
I'd just like to see if his insurance agent breaks down
laughing or crying.
Now if that isn't like meeting yourself coming back I don't
know what is. Ever get those feelings where you find
yourself going around in circles, coming back again to
the place where you started?
That is the main reason why we set goals for ourselves,
major goals, monthly goals, daily goals. It keeps us going
in as straight a line as possible.
Consider for a moment that you had an eight inch piece
of string, stretched out straight on a table top, and that
you wanted to move it with one finger to a different position.
The person who has not chosen any goal in life,
conducts their life like the person who tries to move
the string by pushing it into the position you want.
The person who knows the value of setting goals and
practices that daily is like the person who places their
finger on one end and pulls the string into position.
Try it out and you will see how that simple comparison
is true.
No goal and you "mush" around in life much like the
string does when you try to push it.
Set a goal and you straighten out your path and move
to it as straight forward and purposefully as the string
does when you pull it into position.
Some say "Yeah, but if I set goals and don't reach them,
I'll be disappointed."
My answer to that is "Aaaah! Gee!" There was a wise
man who once said that if you shoot for the moon and
miss at least you land amongst the stars.
The point is no goal - no progress. Set a goal and miss,
at least you are more progressed than you would ever
be if you failed to set a goal and strive for it.
It is really quite simple. Make a choice as to what you
want out of life and go for it. Life has a way of keeping
people in the same mold, the same spot, the same
old thing, until you make a decision to head in the
direction you want.
Pick a goal and go for it, and that way you avoid - -

can use these fonts to create bulleted lists.
Create a document that uses Word's automatic bulleted
list feature.
With your mouse, select the entire bulleted list.
Right-click the list and choose Bullets and Numbering
In the Bullets and Numbering dialog box, click the
Customize button.
Choose a custom bullet.
You can click the Bullet button to pull in additional
bullets from other Word fonts like Wingdings, Almanac MT,
and others.
Click OK. The bulleted list is reformatted with the new
bullet style.

Recently I came across a picture of a health care worker taking
a motorist's temperature via a hand held temperature device.
This led me to ponder what a person needs to know in order to
protect themselves from being unwittingly exposed to infectious
elements.
There are many unrecognized and potentially-infectious
situations. Many times you are exposed to them and don't even
know it. But if you suspect something, your choices are to be
proactive or to be reactive. Prevention or treatment. Personally
I think prevention is healthier, less painful and more cost
effective.
To keep from getting ill, you may want to take some preventative
measures. You will need to recognize a possible risk. And if you
are exposed you would want to know how you could protect
yourself and keep from getting sick. To start this learning
process, you need to know what is in place right now to protect
you.
Your body has a very sophisticated protective system, including
a immune system and inflammatory processes, plus many other
functions that protect you "behind the scenes".

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

The tension between them was so thick they couldn't
even think.
They were filled with penned up emotions they had held
back for months and months. Lust alone ruled the very
air they breathed.
When they arrived at the honeymoon hut, it was dark.
Romano manifested light around the hut and inside so
they might see.
They noticed the Champagne and the glasses, plus the
flowers Mazunta and Eloise had left earlier in the day.
Yet these items were almost meaningless, something to
do in the embarrassing moments of getting undressed in
front of someone, where you had not done that before.
Romano got undressed down to his shorts, and even then
there were telltale signs of his intentions.
He came over and took Oomano in his arms, gently, yet
purposefully. She literally melted. She had no more reason
to keep up her guard and wanted him as much as he
wanted her.
From that moment the night was a blur. To say he took
her would be wrong for she gave as much as he took.
The passion between them seemed as if it would never
end. It controlled them, consumed them, took them into
oblivion. They held back nothing, no reservations. They
made love with the wild abandon of animals.
They kissed and hugged. They made love. They kissed
and hugged. They made love. They kissed and hugged
so feverishly it was as if they wanted to eat one another,
possess one another, permanently blend their bodies
into one another.
They made love until they were exhausted, and slept.
When they stirred to roll over they noticed each other
and began making love all over again.
By morning Romano lay there amazed. He had no idea
he had that kind of stamina. He lay there, with Oomano,
his beautiful, lovely Oomano sleeping in his arms. His
arm was going to sleep. It was almost painful. Her head
was cutting off the circulation in it. He did not move. He
waited for her to awaken.
He would not disturb her for he loved her so much he
wanted only for her to enjoy her sleep. Eventually she
did move. When she did he pulled her naked body to
him and hugged her. She responded with a complete
body hug, and he was aroused again. Again they
made love.
When they had finished he asked "Are we going to stay
in bed all day long?" laughing as he said it.
She slugged him. "You're just a lazy bones anyway.
Besides you like being in bed together. I can tell." she
slugged him again.
He hugged her and kissed her. My how he loved this
woman. He was very glad they had waited until this time
to become sexually involved. Somehow it was clean, right,
the way it should be. Each of them had no guilty conscience
from trying to hide any behavior from her Mom and Dad.
And, living by higher law it was impossible to hide anything
from Riata, if she really tried to find answers.
So they arose, dressed scantily, stretched, and poked
their noses out the door.
It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, there was no
sign of rain, and it was as if the day was for them alone.
They did little things, meaningless things. It didn't matter
what they did. It just mattered that they were together.
They each knew they would not be called upon to go
anywhere to help any situation, during this time of
togetherness.
Each was in a bit of a cloud, mostly from exhaustion from
sexual expression. It is a condition not uncommon with
newlyweds. Beside that sense of being attached to each
other and to nothing else, they seemed to float through
the day. What they saw or did, hardly registered. What
was registering was each other. They watched each other.
They sensed each other. They touched each other. They
explored, smelled, touched tasted, heard and saw
each other.
In many respects it is like a young gosling newly hatched
from the egg. The gosling will identify with the first thing
it sees, hopefully Mama Goose. This period in a
honeymoon is that period where each is identifying
their new role, how they fit to the new situation.
Here is where love and lust play such an important role.
Here is where they want to be together so much the
bonding becomes a wondrous thing.
And the day almost disappeared before they knew it.
