Emerging Conditions!

Today I want you to contemplate two conditions that
appear to be emerging.
The first is that more and more Mom's, with children
under age eighteen, are using the internet to save
themselves time. I just read the results of a survey
taken by AOL and they found that eighty percent of
Moms are using the internet to same time.
They have, fortunately, overcome the fear of internet
theft, etc. and are now doing things like banking,
buying, product research. Those Moms who actively
use the internet find they save themselves an average
of two hours a week, doing chores that would otherwise
require their physical presence.
It makes sense if you consider that last week we did
an article on Identity theft, which revealed that the
fear of identity theft was far greater than the actual
occurrence.
So Moms are overcoming those fears and using the
net to get things done in less time. Congratulations Moms.
Hope you had a good Mother's Day yesterday.
The next concept we should all look out for is a
generation of people now called the Millennials. These
are people born in 1982 and later. The reason why
they are a significant group is that these people were
born with a computer in their hip pocket. They have no
idea of what the world was like without computers. They
are trained early in the use of the computer and are
much more courageous in their use of them than, for
example the Baby Boomers, or even GenerationXers.
Teens today spend nearly as much time on the internet
than they do watching television. They are so used to
doing things with the box that they are automatically
multi-taskers. It is not uncommon to find them listening
to music over the net while downloading files, chatting
and doing other things.
Studies have shown these people to be interested in
politics and to be proactive. You may rest well assured,
in the years ahead, the internet will be witnessing the
impact of this group. I would suggest that one of the
major areas of change will be the computer and all the
things we will be doing with it and with the internet. We
are truly approaching the days when we will be using
computers like Captain Kirk and Spaak on Star Trek.
So let me get commercial here. It is so abundantly clear
that all strata of society are using computers, the internet
and using them to save time, money and conduct a lot
of their business. Wise is the business that uses the
internet as part of their marketing strategy. If you have

Word 2002
Word 2002 makes it even easier to delete styles. Just
display the Styles and Formatting task pane, select the
style, and choose Delete from its menu. You're asked
whether you're sure that you want to delete the style.
Choose Yes to delete if for real. You cannot delete the
Normal, Heading, or any other standard Word
styles, though.

Frequently, people ask what to do with a specific condition. My
initial response always is "build up your immune system". We
have so many choices to make. Lack of knowledge leads to
indecision. Flu shots: do we take them or not. Will I get the
avian flu? Will I get hepatitis from a toilet seat? Should I
wear a mask when I fly next time? We are naturally surrounded by
toxins in all manner of forms. And all this adds to the
confusion. When you can't get facts, you don't make decisions
and then you wait...for what? Direction.
I will list a few preventative measures and some ways of
identifying potential risks. I will also demonstrate how the
cycle of infections works and what you can do to protect
yourself. At least armed with some information, you can make a
choice and later on, learn more. You are constantly under attack
from frequent invaders of your body, including infections. These
come from organisms that get into your body. It automatically
and naturally sets up its defence measures via the immune
system. Its purpose is to get rid of a lot of these undesirable
invaders. The most common invaders are bacteria, viruses, fungi,
and protozoa. Each category has many forms and variations.
Bacteria cause skin, respiratory urinary tract, and blood
circulation problems. In most instances they are regionalized or
localized. Examples are boils, strep throat, tonsillitis, etc.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

So, their lives had changed not only because they
were now married, but because of the events that
occurred at their wedding.
That was fine with them, but it was a change that
required adjustment, just as much as their being
married required adjustment. Living by higher law
made these changes easy to learn and assimilate.
And so, they began to map out their life, for the
first time since they were married. Many of the
ideas they held from before marriage held. They
had a good idea where they were going, yet were
always ready to accept change, as higher law might
require.
The night was now pitch black. The noises in the
jungle could sometimes be more at night than
during the day. Certainly, thought natural, they
were more ominous as the darkness created that
sense of eeriness.
Romano and Oomano listened intently. They were,
after all, city folks. They knew they were safe,
that, didn't bother them, but all these sounds
were new and interesting.
Later in the evening they turned to look behind
them and found two bright circles, spots, staring
at them. Romano instantly knew it was Midnight,
and he called her.
The big cat recognized his voice and came. She
rubbed up against them and purred. After some
petting and reacquainting, Midnight lay down
beside Romano and let herself be petted, as the
couple talked.
It was nice for Midnight to visit. The kids
appreciated it.
While Romano and Oomano slipped away from the
fire, the night of their wedding, the crowd was
deeply involved with one another. Even though the
drums were beating slowly it was conversation
folks were interested in this night. Soon even the
drums stopped. The drummers, after all, were
similarly blessed with the newness and advantages
of living by higher law.
They were welcomed into the group. Miguele kept
the fire going and the conversations went on until
near sunup.
Even the kids were an equal part of the
conversation. Higher law gave them knowledge they
had not formerly had and they grew up fast.
Many of the kids felt their good fortune was
because of being in the right place and the right
time. That was certainly true of Billy Hendricks.
As his life was going he was on a long trip to
nowhere. He was so thankful his friends Tim and
Tom Henry, came to visit that day, and, then and
there helped him change and adjust his life.
Looking back now he was astonished at the changes
he had gone through. Life was suddenly wonderful.
Maria Sanchez continued to shed tears. However,
they were tears of joy and happiness. As a
newspaper woman, she had trained hersielf to be
skeptical, probing, prying. She had her day of
being objectionable in performance. It was her
kind heart that did her in and eventually she was
not so aggressive as some of her co-workers.
When Maria had worked her way into the orphanage
she had no idea she would find herself living by
the dictates taught there. But she had been
enthralled by Reno, a teenager who lived by higher
law and whose heart was so loving it captured
Maria right off. The more time Maria spent at the
orphanage, the more she leaned toward higher law.
That she received assistance from the real live
Jesus was something that burned into her psyche
forever.
And the fire kept going with everyone there being
animated, loving, and learning how to adjust to
this new life.
Sam, Alewka, Boolanga, Eloise, Mazunta, David and
the Henry boys all helped the newcomers understand
what was going on. Sandra, Sonora, Riata and Ben
Striker also steered, encouraged and directed the
thinking of those they were speaking with.
