On A Mission!

A deputy police officer responded to a report of a
barroom disturbance.
The "disturbance" turned out to be well over six feet tall
and weighed almost 300 pounds. What's more, he
boasted that he could whip the deputy and the "Heavy
Weight Boxing Champion of the World."
Said the policeman, "I'll bet that you're also an escape
artist too, probably better than Houdini."
The giant nodded.
"If I had some chains," the deputy continued, "you
could show us how strong you really are. But all I've
got is a set of handcuffs. Why don't you see just how
quickly you can break out of them?"
Once in the cuffs, the man puffed, pulled and jerked
for four minutes.
"I can't get out of these," the giant growled.
"Are you sure?" the deputy asked.
The fellow tried again. "Nope," he replied. "I can't do it."
"In that case," said the deputy, "you're under arrest."
Slick move huh? The deputy was clearly on a mission.
Here he was, faced with a situation that may have been
messy, and he had to find a way to diffuse it. So he
played along with the scene until he was able to bring
things under control.
That is the way with people who have goals firmly
planted in their minds. They are able to take control of
things and bring about the results they want. Often this
happens "automatically" with little or no effort on
their part.
You see that is the way with goals. Once firmly
embedded in your mind they become a "second nature"
thing and you automatically function on the path that will
bring about the realization of the goal.
Yet to get the goal burned into your brain so the
"automatic" function kicks in can sometimes be a
challenge. That is why you must commit to you. You
must make a decision that nothing - - - NOTHING - - will
interfere with you reaching your goal.
It has been said that if you live a few years like most
people won't, you will live the rest of your life like most
people can't. Living those very few years like most
people won't is the time when you are cementing your
goals within your mind. Those are the years when your
concentration is the greatest. Thereafter things start to
"flow" in your direction.
So, you, too, can be like the policeman. He was that
well trained that when he saw this situation he simply
and automatically went to a plan that resolved the
condition into him reaching his objective.

Word
If you don't know the document name, you can search
for a file based on a text string in the file. For example,
if you have a printout of the file you need to find, you
can check the printout for a distinguishing word or
phrase, and enter it in the Text or property box. Word 97
searches for that text string in any document file in the
current folder and lists all the documents that include
the text string, as well as those that meet any
other criteria you set.
Another type of search finds files based on the date
they were last modified. For example, you want to open
all documents that were modified last month so that you
can be sure they are current. Click the Last modified
down arrow, choose last month from the list, and
choose Find Now.

Personal Infection Control
Making Sure You Are Healthy Enough
To Withstand Unhealthy Conditions

So far, we have discussed respiratory bacteria but there is
another strong and very serious one that causes much grief.
Staph Aureus is another very harmful microorganism. It resides
on the skin naturally and it's perfectly acceptable there. But
when it invades your body, it causes all sorts of problems. It
is the most common infection found in hospitals and it tends to
transform itself ever so slightly, and thus become resistant to
some antibiotics. Why do we care about this agent? Because it is
a good example of a direct method of transmission or spread. It
is so easy to eliminate from your life by proper and frequent
handwashing.
A word about handwashing
You might want to ask yourself why hand washing so important.
Microorganisms can stay on (outside) your body for hours before
dying. If you have been exposed to something infectious, and
your skin is intact, all is well. Wash your hands and get rid of
it. That way you can't pass any potential infection indirectly
to anyone else. But suppose you now scrape or cut yourself and
still have this infectious agent on your arm. Chances are you
will see some sort of inflammation occur. And now your immune
system has to deal with both the trauma of the scrape and the
infection...unnecessarily. Incidentally, if you do have a
scrape, cover it up when out in public. That prevents any
further possible spread of your infection and you receiving
something unwanted in return.
It really puzzles me why people don't wash their hands often and
properly. In this day of international travel and communication,
there is no excuse for everyone NOT washing their hands after
using any toilet facilities, and that includes the "male" group.
You wash your hands before you eat so you don't eat the
invisible bugs that are "hanging out" there. Why would a person
not wash their hands AFTER they knowingly come in contact with
bugs after using the washroom facilities??? (I'll step off my
soapbox now.)

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures
and many places. As you read on, enjoy. It continues . . . . . . .

There were giggles coming from the other group.
Sam and Billy looked over to see that one of the
kids had manifested a toy truck.
"One thing you might think on Billy. I don't know
if you remember when Jesus was tempted he was
asked to turn a stone into bread. Jesus refused.
The stone was already made and was serving what
purpose it had for it's existence. Why would Jesus
'change' something when he could easily manifest
all the bread he wanted without disrupting the
things of nature? Don't get caught up in such
things Billy. It is enough for you to use
manifestation the way it is supposed to be used.
Changing things from what they are, in nature, can
set up a chain reaction you don't want to disturb.
That is why, when you see someone who is hurt or
disabled in the body, you see them as whole,
complete. You aren't changing anything other than
causing perfection to happen. You are not giving
them a third arm, four legs, two heads, you are
seeking and causing perfection. The stone is
perfect as it is. So is the bread you manifest."
said Sam.
"I think I see what you mean Mr. Henry. The idea
is not to go around changing things that are, but
offer aid to mankind as he needs, not to go
changing a bunch of things that are already fine
with nature. I might be able to stop or divert a
rushing stream, or river, from flooding a house,
but not remove the river, for that will do harm. I
might be able to see a wounded animal as whole and
help it on it's way, but not take it's soul and
place it in an inanimate object. I understand. I
also understand that there is good and evil in all
men. Who and what they are is simply how they make
their choices, and not of a ficticious "satan".
While men like me are formed from within the
environment in which we live, we all can make
choices to change that environment.
Notwithstanding you brought me to your place, it
was my choice to remain and that change caused me
to be here today. Those choices were mine. I could
have gone back to where I was." said Billy.
"That's right, Billy. And it is right for every
man. Each man makes choices and must live
according to those choices. That is the law.
Another way to put the law might be, As ye choose,
so will you be." said Sam.
"I wonder why so many do not see that?" asked
Billy.
"They do not see it because it is so simple they
consider it to be obvious, and give it no thought
past that. They think it is as clear as the idea
that touching a hot stove will burn you. They fail
to consider the depths and the ramifications of
the law. They never sit back and ask, "If I think
this way about this person, how is that going to
affect my actions and how will the law reward me?"
They never give consideration to the thoughts they
are forever planting in their minds, and how those
thoughts will affect outcomes of many actions.
They do not pick a "standard" or a "path" that
represents who and what they want to be. Without
thinking they will go to university for higher
learning, only to "be like dad", or to be "rich".
They truly know not what they do, and have given
no consideration whatever to doing what Jesus, so
long ago, asked them to do." said Sam.
"Can we try to travel, Sam? I want to learn how to
do that." asked Billy.
"Certainly. Where would you like to go?" asked
Sam.
"I'm not sure. How about home?" asked Billy.
"Sure, that's fine, but before we go let's think
on this a little. There are several different
types of places to which you can travel. The first
is what you have chosen, a place you know. Then
there is going to a place you don't know, and
there is going to a place where there is a person
you know." said Sam, "In the first one you simply
envision yourself there, KNOW you are there and
it will happen. In the second you know not where
you are going but you are going for a purpose, so
you home in on the purpose and allow the law to
take you where you must be to carry out your
purpose. The third type is where you know not
where you want to go but you know a person you
want to see. Concentrating on that person and
'seeing' yourself with that person will place you
wherever in earth that person is."
"Wow! I never thought of all those ways. Let's try
the first one, first." said Billy.
