Some People Just Don't Understand!

A new young bride calls her mother in tears. She sobs,
"Robert doesn't appreciate what I do for him."
"Now, now," her mother comforted, "I am sure it was
all just a misunderstanding."
"No, mother," the young woman laments. "I bought a
frozen turkey loaf and he yelled at me about the price."
"Well, that is being miserly," the mother agreed,
"Those turkey rolls are only a few dollars."
"No, mother it wasn't the price of the turkey roll, it
was the airplane ticket."
"Airplane ticket.... What did you need an airplane
ticket for?"
"Well mother, when I went to fix it, I looked at the
directions on the back and it said, 'PREPARE FROM
A FROZEN STATE,' so I flew to Alaska."
Boy! I think I'd be a little choked if my wife did this, too.
But it leads us into our point for this article - Some People
Just Don't Understand!
That's what happens when people think of success, or
becoming successful. They don't understand that you
must be committed to what you are doing or going to do.
Without that commitment success is rare, and people
become frustrated, then quit. Doing this begins to form
a pattern and success forever eludes them.
Some folks think that success is their right. It is. Just as
it is the right for the sparrow to live. Food is provided in
abundance everywhere, but the sparrow must go get it.
The same with your success. It is there, ready for you
to have it, but you must do what is necessary to bring
it into realization. That takes commitment and without
it there shall be no success.
I once read that if you want to increase your rate of
success, then double your failure rate. The author of
that statement possessed the wisdom of the ages.
Success is impossible without failing many times. Each
failure is to bring about refinements in what you are
doing until, one day, success visits you in abundance.
So, fret not at failure. Be grateful for it, for from it comes
the seeds for the next step and the next, until one day
you will have accomplished what you wanted. The
two keys are commitment and persistence.

Making Sure You Are Healthy Enough
To Withstand Unhealthy Conditions

For any infectious condition to occur, you need to realise that
a pathogen or infectious agent needs to find some way to go from
one host to another. Otherwise that's the end of the infection.
Therefore, if you kill the microorganism, or eliminate the
method of transmission, or stop it from leaving or entering
another host, you will have either stopped it altogether or
slowed it to the point it doesn't do any more damage. And that
is the goal.
CONCLUSION
Most media attention centers around respiratory infections
because they are easily spread to unsuspecting victims. Those
who are healthy escape the statistics. Those who are weak for
whatever reason end up sick. Many get caught in this cycle of
infection unless they know what to do to help themselves. So
staff in public places such as schools, shopping centers,
offices, and many other areas watch this cycle go through their
facilities. That's why people get flu shots. It offers some
awareness.
You are reading this health related article because you are
interested in health: yours in particular. This is an important
issue. Now that you are aware of possible places to pick up
infections, plan your life a little differently. The next
meeting you attend, pay attention to who is coughing or
sneezing. Stay away from that area. Avoid places you are likely
to pick up germs. If you have to go, then take precautionary
measures to limit your risks. Avoid being in close proximity to
people who are coughing. Wash you hands frequently if you are
touching door handles, or other people's possessions. Make sure
your skin is intact. If you do have a cut, cover it and treat it
promptly and properly. Keep your immune system healthy and well
fed. Know what your entire body needs to keep you living the
life you want to live. Keep it in good working order. Plan
consciously where you go and what you might be exposed to. Don't
avoid going: just be prepared. Please avoid being a slave to
this concept and suspect an infection with every person. That is
totally unnecessarily. Do recognize the need to be careful and
if you have children, help them to develop this awareness and
some healthful habits. Your lives may depend on it. As with most
things in life, you are responsible for your self. So protect
yourself by learning these basic principles. Become aware of
your own body's needs and supply them. Participate actively in
one of the world's best wonders: your existence!

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

"Okay, Billy. You can do that by closing your eyes
and seeing yourself in our kitchen, back home. See
yourself there, and know you are there." said Sam.
As Billy closed his eyes and concentrated, he
suddenly disappeared to Sam's vision.
Sam quickly concentrated on being home in the
kitchen and sure enough, there was Billy.
"Wow! What a trip Mr. Henry. I didn't know you
could do things like that. Wow! That's amazing."
said Billy.
"It is Billy. Certainly when you do it the first
time. Yet it is all part of your Maker's plan for
all men. Life is meant to be much simpler and
easier than most men make it. It is true that
slowly, yet inexorably, man is gowing toward this
knowledge. What he does not understand is that it
lies before his very eyes constantly." answered
Sam.
"Now, I want you to travel by focusing on a
person. You may not know where that person is, but
you want to be near them. For now, concentrate on
Tim, and let's see where that gets you." said Sam.
Billy closed his eyes and envisioned Tim, crystal
clear, then saw himself with Tim.
In a flash Billy was with Tim. It was in a jungle,
near a lake. The weather was very hot and muggy.
The air was moist and heavy.
Sam immediately joined them. Sam recognized the
place immediately.
"Where are we?" asked Billy.
Sam looked at Tim with a twinkle in his eye.
"This is where my sister, David and Boolanga
stayed while building their first canoe. It was
here they really learned the ways of the jungle.
It was their first experience with survival and
here that Eloise mastered her knowledge of higher
law." answered Tim.
"Wow!" the remark went up in unison from the group
of kids Tim and Tom had brought, learning how to
travel.
"I'm impressed. Boy! The folks back in Pinehill
sure don't know you guys can travel around like
this." said Billy.
"Maybe they shouldn't, Billy. Maybe it should be
reserved for those who respect your privacy and
person." said Tim.
"That's right, that's what it is privacy, and
respect. Those who always want miracles have
interest only in themselves and no thought of
either privacy for you, or respect for you." Billy
was thinking outloud.
"How about taking us home for lunch, Billy?"
suggested Sam.
In an instant they were there, back at Miguele's
and Abetta's. Most of the group was still there,
although there were small numbers missing here
and there.
Much of the day was spent in conversation and in
practicing the use of higher law. Much emphasis
was put on the law "As ye sow, so shall ye reap."
By the end of the day those newcomers to higher
law were well schooled in using the new ways.
Susan Miles was thrilled to her very core. She
felt so privileged to be a part of this, and to be
able to use higher law to accomplish the things in
life she wanted.
Susan no longer saw the need for money as she
once did. She was beginning to see how love and
the power thereof was the way for people to become
what they wanted. Seeing through the veil and
understanding the simplicity of higher law was
where her life was beginning.
"Pretty nice, right Sue?" said Sam.
"Oh! Sam! You surprised me. Yes, this is
wonderful. Now I see what you and the family have
been up to for all these years. Thank you for
including me in your group of friends. I love the
pair of you so much." she responded.
