There are a few scientists out there who still feel we
should be cautious using the artificial sweetener
saccharin, but the overall consensus now is that
saccharin does NOT cause cancer in humans.
Remember the scary warning label that used to appear
on products containing saccharin? It's no longer there.
In 2001, Congress voted to repeal the warning label
that had been in effect since 1977. They did that
because saccharin was voted off the federal
"carcinogen list" thanks to research suggesting it
does not cause cancer in people.
Is it true that frogs never drink water?
Yes. But they do GET water. Frogs absorb
water by osmosis.

Persistence Will Do It Every Time!

After not seeing each other for quite some time, two elderly
women found themselves at the hairdressers at the same time.
After inquiring about each other, one asked her friend how
her husband was.
"Oh goodness, of course you couldn't know. Jack was out in
the garden last week, digging up some potatoes for dinner,
and he died right there in the potato patch from a heart
attack!"
"I'm so terribly sorry dear," her friend replied. "What did
you do?"
"I opened a can of green beans instead."
I love this joke. This gal was obviously on a mission - supper.
And she didn't seem to let much get in her way.
That's persistence. You will notice she achieved her objective.
I don't recommend each of us be as cold hearted. There
certainly are others who are important in our lives. However
I do recommend being that persistent that you achieve your
objective.
The number one reason why people do not succeed, is
because they really don't want to. The number two reason
why people don't succeed is because they quit too soon,
they fail to be persistent enough to go until success arrives.
I fully realize that lack of persistence may well be tied to
the first reason, but there are folks who genuinely want
to succeed who just plain quit too soon.
One must realize that so long as you are working toward
an objective and you NEVER QUIT, then sooner or later
that objective will be realized. There is just no alternative
to this method. If you don't count the days, months, years,
but instead pay attention to the continual doing, you will
reach your objective, without fail.
There will be many failures along the way, and there
should be. That is what success is, the accumulation of a
bunch of failures. It is the one who goes on continually,
in spite of those failures, who gets his prize.
And, don't think there is any easier way. There isn't. If
you quit too soon at one task, favoring another that looks
more promising, you will, sooner or later quit at that too,
and maybe while on the brink of success.
Once you have picked a task, an objective and a method,
stick to it. Nothing you will ever see will be better. You
may find things that will aid you in this task, but you will
never find anything better than this task. Quitting is
simply out of your vocabulary.
Remember, too, there will be all sorts of obstacles thrown
in your way. You may have difficulty in relationships until
your labor begins to show fruit. Stick with it. If a relationship
does not support your efforts you will have a decision
to make.
Know this quitting sets up within your mind, a belief system
that says "I don't have to work too hard for this guy! He will
quit sooner or later anyway. I worked hard for him, thinking
he was going all the way, then he quit. I don't believe him
anymore."

The Ins And Outs of Breathing
Every breath you take is vital to your survival

It's summer time and the air is filled with beautiful scents of
flowers, freshly cut grass, and life is pretty perfect...or is
it? You will learn how a healthy lung "works", and relevant
information about this part of the aging process. You will learn
about your body's natural protective measures and how it handles
anything it doesn't want in there. The more you feel comfortable
with some basic "mechanical activities" of your lungs, the less
you will fear allergies or pollens or chemical smells. And the
more you will be inclined to take care of your body. You might
find it easier to understand all this if you think of your
respiratory system as a strong tree with its branch formation
and leaves on the branches. The important thing to remember then
is just as the trees' branches get smaller and smaller, so do
the "tunnels" or pathways of your lungs. As usual, this
information is solely for educational purposes and not to be
used to treat yourself. Please visit your doctor if you need
help with any respiratory problems.
Your ultimate goal should be to enjoy a free-flowing,
unobstructed pathway, with no partial or full blockages...and
LOADS OF ENERGY!!
My goal is for you to understand how your body protects you and
how you can protect it. No one can stop the aging process, so
its effects will be mentioned. Even taking those into
consideration, you should be able to enjoy a smooth ride for a
long and healthy life.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

Where does the time go?
What can two newlyweds do, while alone, to pass the time away?
They're in love. That's what they can do, and that
is exactly what Romano and Oomano were doing. They
would go through each day as if in a daze. These
first few weeks of marriage were as a blur.
Every day they would seem to do nothing yet the
the day would pass in a flash. In fact this whole
honeymoon period was passing much too fast.
Most people, by the time they reach the ages of
Romano and Oomano, are goal oriented and are of
the opinion they must be out doing things.
All that goes for a holiday when you are on a
honeymoon. One is so wrapped up in the mate that
normal things go by the wayside without notice. It
is truly a period of joy and happiness, and these
two were no different.
Oomano had kept in touch with Riata using "mental"
communication methods. She and Romano were well
aware of the wonderful blessings that were
happening at home.
"Do you think we should visit?" she asked Romano.
"Not on your life. They will all be leaving for
their homes soon. This is your time and my time. I
know you think you have to be there for the kids,
but now the kids know, understand and use higher
law. They have no need of you as before." Romano
reminded her, as he kissed her and gave her an
affecitonate squeeze, the personal kind that all
lover's have.
Oomano responded in kind and they kissed again,
deeply, passionately. He touched her. She
responded. He touched some more. She responded
some more. Soon they were lost in each other, and
for the next hour the world could have blown apart
and they would not have known it.
When they had finished they lay in each other's
arms feeling forever grateful they had each other.
Outside the hut the day was pouring rain. Not as
in the rainy season, but as in a passing summer
storm. It was clear beyond the storm and they knew
the day would become hot and humid later.
Romano did stop the rain for a twenty foot square
patch just in front of the hut, and he dried up
the ground. That way at least they could have
their cooking fire going to ward off the chill
from the damp winds, and have a dry place to sit.
Here it was just about lunch and they had done
nothing in the morning. Yet they had. This time of
blur, this time of love making, this time that
seemed a daze, was a time of "cementing" their
relationship, of learning each other's habits,
sensitive spots, foibles.
As in most marriages we start out saying we don't
want to change our mate, yet after the honeymoon
we begin to compare our mate with our parent of
the same sex. Too often we think our mate should
be like our Dad or our Mom.
Living by higher law, in this case, gave Romano
and Oomano the knowledge that the usual could
happen to them as well. So they decided they would
not do that. Each was the person they fell in love
with and each wanted to make every effort to
preserve who that person was.
It is in the nature of man to want to mold another
to ones desires. Refraining from doing that is a
difficult job, but, for the wise, a necessary job.
Just past lunch the sun came out and the day
became very warm. The two lovers decided to head
to the river bank with nothing on but their
undergarments. They were feeling quite free with
themselves here, knowing they were completely
alone.
Over the last couple days they had made friends
with some of the animals that came here for water.
The longer they were here the more the animals
trusted them.
They had not yet seen anyone on the river in the
time they had been here, so, playing around in the
nude, or even scantily dressed did not seem to be
an issue.
But it had to happen, right?
