Where Did Stability Go?
NO STABILITY LEFT! That's right. There appears to be
no stability left.
Everywhere you look comapnies are coming and going.
Major institutions you used to rely on are changing
policies, names, offices, services. Even government is
makes sweeping changes that cause you to re-learn the
steps every time.
I am not saying there is anything wrong with this. What
I am trying to get at is that it constantly keeps you
busy and in a state of mental uncertainty. It creates
continual stress plus it means you cannot get any rest
for you must always be in competitive mode in order to
daily negotiate the changes.
It seems there is hardly anyplace you can go to today
that is the same as it was last year. In some cases it
is very upsetting for people for there no longer is a
stability they can rely upon.
That is even proving to be true of our churches. The
action of the heirarchy to protect itself our churches
have breached the trust they demanded of us.
The only thing stable in this life is YOU.
Rather than become dependant, as we all have been,
on external situations and circumstances we must now
learn to rely on ourselves and ourselves only.
There is only one thing constant in your life and mine
- ONLY ONE.
That singular constant is the real you that you find
deep inside. It is your Maker with whom you communicate
at that level.
The only place on earth where you can truly enjoy peace
of mind, security and a completely stress free
environment is when you are at that deep level of
communication with your Maker. It is imperative one
makes this step to survive the instability that exists
in todays world.
I ask you to reflect on this point. Make certain
you understand clearly the effect world affairs, not
only internationally or federally but locally, is
having on your life. Think, too, on the reality of the
items shown you above.
I have no doubt whatever this condition will grow worse
instead of better. It is a product of our technological
advancement. Every one working at a job is now expected
to do more in less time for less pay. And tomorrow you
will be expected to do more for even less.
I am not yet clear where, if ever, it will end. I want
you to reflect on whether you will become one of the
victims, or will you decide to seek truth and secure
that peace and security for yourself and your family.

The moment the ladies entered the hall they
literally lit up the room. It was somewhat dark
and Mae and Susan caused the room to be lit as
with sunlight yet it was a light that cast no
shadows. All was lit.
The monks all immediately rose. Some of them
recognized the significance of the visitors but
many rose only because those beside them did.
There was an air of reverence, of awe, in the
room. The monk led them to the head table.
Mae and Susan made signs with their hands
motioning for the people to sit. All but the head
table seated themselves. Those at the head table
were bowing to the trio as they came up. The man
who appeared to be the head was on his knees and
bowing his head to the floor in supplication and
in humility.
If this were in the animal kingdom it was a
scene much like all members of a wolf pack bowing
to the alpha male, subjecting themselves to his
wishes.
Mae bid the head monk to rise. "None are holy
but those who go inside to seek their Maker. It is
a practice for all mankind, not for you or us
only."
The head monk rose. "How may we serve you?"
"It is not for you to serve us, but for us to
serve you. Leave your hierarchy, leave your
organizational structure. Each become one with
your Maker and you shall do what we can do. It is
in the holding to organization that prevents you
from realizing your potential. You think that as
you hold onto structure you are given power. Yet
it keeps you from power. There is no substance in
structure, but with your Maker only. All other
things shall pass into history and become
meaningless. Each may, here and now, yield to
their Maker and become one with the universe. Stay
not with tradition nor with organization for that
is of man."
The words of Susan rang as if they were a
bell. They were the clear tones of pure brass
within the heads of all present. All understood.
"I come not to appease but to love, and in
loving would show you the way. Some will rebel
against the organizational structure you now
present. They are the ones who will want to meet
their Maker inside that they may live the life
their Maker wants. Others will remain, feeling
safe within these mighty walls, not wanting to
venture into foreign territory. You remain as men
all over the world, afraid to leave your group and
go into what you think is uncharted territory. Yet
those who seek, knock, ask shall find, shall have
the door opened unto them, shall receive their
answers. So I come not to bind you together but to
tear you apart."
"Master we wish not that, for we are happy
where we are."
"Some seek their Maker and your structure,
your hierarchy, your organization keeps them from
doing so. To those you are operating under false
pretenses. You purport to know the way but you do
not give it to them. Would it be that you do not
know it?"
The head monk was no longer enjoying this
conversation. There was rumbling and murmuring
amongst those in the hall. His authority had not
only been challenged, it was made clear he did not
know the path all the way to Nirvana, preferring
instead to hold power and sway over those in his
charge. In an instant that became clear to all in
the room.
Ng was feeling somewhat uncomfortable. Here he
was in the middle of this building, did not know
the way out, was surrounded by these monks and
Susan was telling them they were all wrong in what
they were doing. For a moment he thought there
would be violence. No man in earth appreciated
being told he was wrong, much less 100 hundred of
them. The monks themselves toned down and were
deep in thought. The head monk began to show the
visitors they were no longer welcome.
With that, Susan bid her goodbyes and in an
instant she, Mae and Ng were outside on the lower
portico of the Palace.
The head monk now had a problem. Those with
apparent greater power had come to tell him he was
leading his charges in the wrong direction.
Moreover, not only was he going the wrong
direction, he knew not the right direction.
The monks did not react immediately, but in
the coming days, one by one, several of them
walked away from the monastery preferring to seek
their Maker than to live in bondage to the mantras
and the organizational hierarchy of the Buddhist
priesthood represented by the monks in the Palace.
"Was that not dangerous?"

It rained most of the day yesterday and was an excellent
opportunity to get a bunch of computer things done. I
completed thePEBBLE formatting for the next couple
weeks and did a lot of other catch up stuff, like
bookkeeping etc.

After experiencing difficulties with his computer, a
poor, incognizant user called the system maker's
technical support line for assistance...
Technician: Hello. How can I help you today?
Customer: There's smoke coming from the power supply on
my computer...
Technician: Looks like you need a new power supply...
Customer: No, I don't! I just need to change the
startup files...
Technician: Sir, what you described is a faulty power
supply. You need to replace it...
Customer: No way! Someone told me that I just had to
change the system startup files to fix the problem!
All I need is for you to tell me the right command...
For the next ten minutes, in spite of the technician's
efforts to explain the problem and its solution, the
customer adamantly insisted that he was right. So, in
frustration, the technician responded...
Technician: I'm sorry. We don't normally tell our
customers this, but there's an undocumented DOS command
that will fix the problem...
Customer: I knew it!
Technician: Just add the line 'LOAD NOSMOKE.DLL' at the
end of the CONFIG file and everything should work fine.
Let me know how it goes...
About ten minutes later, the technician received a call
back from the customer...
Customer: It didn't work. The power supply is still
smoking...
Technician: Well, what version of Windows are you
using?
Customer: Windows XP...
Technician: Well, that's your problem. That version of
Windows doesn't include NOSMOKE. You'll need to
contact Microsoft and ask them for a patch. Let me
know how it all works out...
When nearly an hour had passed, the phone rang again...
Customer: I need a new power supply...
Technician: How did you come to that conclusion?
Customer: Well, I called Microsoft and told the
technician what you said, and he started asking me
questions about the make of the power supply...
Technician: What did he tell you?
Customer: He said my power supply isn't compatible with
NOSMOKE...
