Perception Is Everything!
The young lady walked over to the room where she knew her
friend was. "May I see Irving, please?" she asked the woman
blocking the door.
"We don't allow anyone but relatives to see the patients,"
replied the woman. "Are you a member of the family?"
"Why-er-why, yes. I'm his sister," said the lady.
"Oh, I'm so glad to meet you," said the woman. "I'm his
mother!"
Wow! How's that for getting caught? Immediate problem,
right?
It is a truth we too often see this in internet marketing,
too. So many are trying to hype their products that it is
easy to let an untruth, or an exaggeration, slip in.
Many there are who perceive this, even if it is not true.
That is what hype does.
The seasoned browser will be well aware and look out. They
will look for the site that offers products and services
they want, give a clear explanation and be concise about
descriptions.
Hype used to work at a time when the internet was younger.
Today there is so much of it surfers are weary. The site
with refreshing clarity, the email with the straight to the
point sales message, the autoresponder message that gives
value along with directions to your site, are all the more
appreciated ways to get your sales message across.
How do you separate enthusiasm from exaggeration? That is
not too difficult. The acid test is to ask yourself, after
each point, "Does my product or service really do this?"
Often you must listen to that still, small voice within that
says you are stretching, or bending the truth just a little
too much.
Remember always, too, that it is not the words your prospect
will react to. It is the perception he develops from your
words that he will react to and if he perceives something
less than real value he will simply go elsewhere.
Then the next question you must ask is "What will my
prospect perceive from this offer?"
Have you ever entered a room where there was a party, been
introduced around and found that during introductions you
suddenly knew you didn't like a certain individual? It
happens sometimes.
It happens because you perceive an attitude you don't like,
a mannerism that reminds you of something you don't like.
That is what happens with a web site, an email or other
things in internet marketing. People perceive things they
like and don't like. Your message, your site must allow the
perception to be one that promotes the action you want, so
stay away from hype and exaggeration. Don't stretch your
principles.

Bones: Don’t Take Your Support
System For Granted

The body has an intense desire to put all the pieces
back where they belong and to heal itself. It has an
amazing process called the inflammatory process which
is part of your body’s immune system. It brings natural
healing properties to the problem area. If you are in
good health, you will most likely heal very quickly. If
you are not, healing may take longer. If you have any
type of “hardware” in your body to keep the bones in
alignment, you may find that it may need to be removed
later on. Companies which manufacture this type of
equipment try their best to find materials which cause
no or little body reaction (inert), but reactions
happen from time to time. It’s the same as someone
rejecting a donor heart or kidney. If needed, it’s easy
to remove the offending part once the healing is
complete. And of course, once healing is complete, all
the bone‘s responsibilities are back in full force or
as much as possible depending on its capabilities. Your
underlying belief must be that your body can be
healed…somehow. But you simply can’t just drill a hole
into it, patch in some hardware and expect it all to
heal immediately.
How can you help your bones either stay healthy or
restore their health? Use a lot of common sense. Rest
and relax as much as you need to. Your body will let
you know: you must pay attention. Pain and discomfort
are two of the ways the body lets you know it needs
some changes or relief. Once you are given the green
light to start your rehabilitation process, exercise
normally, but don’t get carried away. Avoid stressing
your joints too much, but do stress them enough to keep
them healthy. Remember that no pressure or stress
(lying in bed) ends up atrophying or shrinking the
muscles. Over-exercising is known to cause oxidative
stress. That is a cause of degenerative conditions.
Provide your body with proper alignment. (Stand up
straight.) Not only will you feel better, but the air
exchanges will be much more effective, thus helping
even more with waste management. It will also help
balance your weight more evenly. Remember that your
body craves balance in all things.

4Now for the story
The following day Sam Henry gathered those around him
who lived by higher law. At the present moment it was
everyone in the village.
"We will no longer be telling out story to the world, or
showing them how we live and therefore being an example to
them. I thought it a good idea that we might gather and
offer some ideas to our readers of the basic points of life
and living we feel might be important to them. This will be
out last chance so feel free to share your thoughts and
ideas. If you want, I will go first."
Sam waited and looked around. Everyone was waiting for
him to speak.
"I want to tell our readers that life is a threefold
thing. It is physical, mental and spiritual. Man lives very
much, too much actually, in the physical. That is what
accounts for tribal conditions in some area of the world and
for the drug problem and sexual related disease in other
parts. It comes from man wanting to pleasure his body and
his ego. They are interrelated. If man continues life this
way then he will have only the rewards of that kind of
thinking and that kind of effort. His world revolves around
money and money or any of the things of money are subject to
theft, rust, deterioration and decay. That includes his own
body for as he dwells in a mind space he becomes it.
It behooves man to consider there is a spiritual world,
which is the first cause of all things. When man considers
that he can live in that spiritual world then all things
become available to him. I well recognize this sounds like
a theory, a plot for a story, an elusive moonbeam. Yet it is
not to those who see. Gather all the books you can find and
conduct research into all religions. Then gather all the
secular (worldly) books you can find about religions and
about men like Jesus, Mohammed and Buddha. Read to find the
same constant and consistent message they all seek to
deliver. It is no more and no less than - what you believe
shall come to pass. If you prefer the words from someone
else then please read Matthew 21: verses 21 and 22 in the
Bible.
Knowing that law, of course, means you should also pay
attention to other laws or your misuse of that law will cost
you dearly. Therefore you must understand to the maximum
degree the law - as ye sow, so shall ye reap - for it is
only in sowing good things, good thoughts and good beliefs
that you shall be visited by good things.
Taking is greed. It leads to strife, sickness and
unhappiness. Giving leads to love, peace, harmony and
happiness. Those are the laws against which man has no
power. They work for man if he is wise enough to understand
them and use them correctly and they will work against man
if he is foolish enough to think he can do what he wants
that the law will not find him out. Man is his own judge.
The law will find you out regardless what you think or do.
It then behooves man to learn and to do what is the right
thing by the law to produce the results he ultimately wants.
You cannot run from, evade, bury, neglect or be impervious
to the law. It runs the universe and everything in it. It
therefore runs your life just as surely as the sun warms the
day."
Sam sat down and waited for others to speak. Eloise
stood.
"I first of all want to extend my love unto all who have
listened, watched and understood or wanted to understand. It
is not often one gets a chance to look at a world that
appears hidden. It is not hidden. It is just available to
those with eyes to see. Bacteria, the ones that make you
sick, aren't seen either. Yet you know they are there and
many times throughout a year you can see the results of
their work, either in the colds or flu of co-workers or in
your children. You can also see the results of those whose
diets are filled with man made things. Many are in hospitals
and many die who ingest the things of man. Most of man's
disease could be avoided if he would live by his mind rather
than his physical feelings.
When I was first sent into the jungle I had no idea
where I was or what I had to do to survive. I was fortunate.
I had no radio, no television, no magazines. I had no games,
no computers, no things that would take up my time and
permit me to be "busy". I was forced to look at me, my
world, my condition. I had no choice. That is where I was
fortunate. I had no choice. That is where you are
unfortunate. You have all the choices in the world. In
making choices that take you away from your Maker you must
realize that is what you are doing - going away from your
Maker. Heed not the fridge, the TV, the radio. Seek not to
occupy your time with man made things and pleasures for they
lead you away from life, not to it. Your immediate yet
ephemeral pleasure will cost you dearly. It is only by going
inside and seeking your Maker - to the exclusion of all else
- that you will find your Maker and life.
Be extremely careful about any message you get from any
religion. If they say to you that you must do what Jesus
told you to do, then they are right. If they say anything
different they are leading you away from truth for their
sake. If they want you planning teas, bingos, parties; if
they want you active in groups, leadership or other things
they are stroking your ego and leading you away from what
Jesus told you to do. Consider the law - as ye sow, so shall
ye reap. You are exclusively responsible for your life. It
is a gift to you from your Maker. Use it wisely for your
sake.

It was an incredible success but is no longer serving the
purpose for which it was intended, to bring life's lessons
and spiritual lessons to the readers. For your information
our first entry for The Saga Of Pinehill was April 02/02. We have
been running the story nearly everyday for over four years.
Actually the last day the story will be published will be
day 1413.
The story has spawned one book, with another in the process
of being printed. The intent is to have four books printed, then
write up a "summary" book dealing with all the "life's lessons"
and "spiritual lessons" found in those four.
I want to thank you, one and all, for being loyal readers and for
your support. If our wishes come true, who knows there may be
another story appear.
