Don't You Know?
A woman came home from a nearby farm with two
buckets of cow manure for her garden. "What's that for?"
Asked her 6-year-old daughter.
"The strawberries, " Mom answered.
After staring at the buckets for a moment, the youngster
asked, "Can I just have mine with whipped cream?"
I guess she would rather have whipped cream. Yet here,
again, as with all jokes, it points out a truth for us.
The little girl responded that way because she did not
know what her Mother was really planning. She had not
yet experienced the idea of putting the manure on the
ground around the strawberries in order to fertilize them
and help them grow.
When we say, or do, things are you always conscious
of those around you so you know they are aware of
what you say or do?
How many times do you run into conflict because those
around you don't know what you are doing?
It happens to me all the time. Having thought out a course
of action I go ahead and do it. Sometimes those around
me have no idea what I'm doing and, if it concerns them,
they will speak up, usually angry.
It all goes back to the "Folks are always down on what
they're not up on!" theory.
Yet it shows, too, a responsibility for us. We must ensure
those who are affected understand the issue. If we do
this before we act it will save everyone frustration.
How many times have you written material, a letter, an
ebook, a website, from the platform you understand,
yet have given no thought to your audience and how
many of them understand?
Communicating is one of the world's greatest skills. It
takes one hundred percent thought, even some inner
guidance, to get it done correctly for all listeners
or readers.
When writing or speaking try to keep those thoughts
in the back of your mind - -

Although my discussions are around Meniere’s treatment, you
should be very concerned if you are taking more than one
drug: over the counter “OTC”, or prescription, or
recreational. And please do not forget all the nasal sprays,
drops and ointments! As I have mentioned several times, now,
these are simply chemicals of some sort: where they come
from is not that important. What is important is how these
chemicals act in your body. And for our discussion in this
article, I want to draw your attention the fact your blood
pressure could be a little too low for you to function
effectively for your lifestyle. I admire the athletic
community. They are very aware of how a low blood pressure
and low pulse are affecting their overall capabilities. I
learned this early on in my operating room career. We didn’t
get many sick athletes, but we did get many broken limbs.
Their heart beats (pulse) and blood pressure were usually
low enough to make us become very aware of possible
problems. Hypotensive problems didn’t happen because their
bodies are used to this. And I believe they don’t put many
chemicals into their bodies. At least they didn’t then.
Another situation that concerns me a lot is the “isolated”
use of these drugs. By that I mean that one doctor
prescribes a drug, for one condition, and pays no attention
to other drugs prescribed by any other doctors. I would
imagine that a pharmacist would check for and question
interactions and usage, but that is no longer the case. I
wish it were! I believe that would save a lot for heartache
and problems.
Let me share what I see happening. I’ll use the Meniere’s
condition as an example. The traditional treatment for this
condition includes a low salt diet, diuretics, SERC
(betahistine), often an anti-depressant and a drug to
stabilize the dizziness. Sometimes, nasal sprays. Then along
comes another practioner. You are now encouraged to do some
“preventative medication” for cholesterol, hypertension,
(high blood pressure), and diabetes. Those are the common
ones right now. Can you already see what happening here is?
I see this time and time again, but no one seems to see
anything wrong with this! That is why I am getting very
concerned. If you looked closely at some of the links I gave

a touch!

Darfur doesn't want the UN as peacekeepers. Yet the African
Union troops are ill equipped to carry on peacekeeping.
Aid agencies say Darfur is one of the world's worst
humanitarian crises. A lack of money and insecurity means
aid workers cannot reach parts of the region.
The European Commission has recommended that Bulgaria and
Romania join the EU next year as planned, but only if they
fulfil key conditions.
Bulgaria in particular will have to show tangible results in
the fight against corruption and organised crime.
The report presented to the European Parliament also warns
both states could face serious membership restrictions and
cuts to EU funds after they join.
The final assessment on whether they can join will be
delayed until October.

In its progress reports, the commission said the countries'
accession could still be postponed until January 2008 if
they did not show enough progress by the autumn.
"The possibility of being ready in 2007 is do-able,"
European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso told the
parliament.
"But it is for the two countries to deliver."
Correspondents say the commission does not want to penalise
reformist governments in both countries by delaying their
entry, but with growing public unease in western Europe over
further expansion, it has to keep up the pressure for deeper
changes.
Wherever you look in the world there is a need to get back
to just plain good neighborliness. Look at the hoops people
have to jump through just to belong to this EU group. I know
these things have to be done but what gets me is that
everything seems to have the threatening undertone to it.
What ever happened to helping our neighbor? What ever
happened to love and understanding, to helping in time of
need? Why is it that the first thing people think of is
violence? It should be the very last if at all.

foot... *Do* pick a more subtle color to wear than bright
yellow pants.
*Don't* invite a uniformed police officer into your home to
chat about a crime you witnessed if you have dope on the
table in plain view.
When you go on a burglary spree *Do* ensure you have enough
gas in your vehicle to drive away from your crime scene.
If you are going to steal a car *Do* pick one that will
blend in traffic better than a pearl white six door limo.
*Don't* answer a question with the phrase, "Who me?" when
you and the officer are the only people in a ten mile
radius.
*Don't* repeat the question that the officer just asked.
It's considered a stall technique and it gives away the fact
you are getting ready to lie through your teeth.
*Don't* say, "I ain't got no dope. Why you wanna search my
car?" before the officer even introduces himself/herself on
the traffic stop.
*Do* ensure the birthday you give matches the age you give
when lying about your birthday.
When you attempt to drop your dope on the ground when
approached by an officer, *Don't* bounce said dope off the
toe of the officer's boot.
If you are going to jump into a stranger's fenced back yard
*Do* make sure a police K-9 vehicle is not parked in the
driveway.
If you leave your pants, car, and ID at a crime scene, the
cops *Will* probably be able to figure out who dunnit.
