Are geishas prostitutes?
No. Geishas are professional hostesses in Japan who

means arts or performance in Japanese. "Sha" means people.
Geishas may have had their origin in women who danced for
warriors in the eleventh century. Geishas are trained to
provide lighthearted company for men or groups of men,
especially businessmen. They are skilled in conversation, as
well as a number of traditional arts, including ancient
dance, singing, conducting tea ceremony, playing
instruments, flower arranging, wearing beautiful kimonos,
and calligraphy. Modern-day geisha may learn English and
have computer training to better entertain non-Japanese
clients.
How does one lose in sumo wrestling?
There are only two ways to lose in Japanese sumo wrestling:

Just When You Think You Know!
At a supermarket, I overheard two women talking in
the next aisle.
"Horace and I have been together ten years now and
he makes me very happy," one said. "So I don't mind
buying him what he likes even if it is more expensive."
"Well, with my Benny I have no choice. He's just plain
fussy," her friend replied.
I turned into their aisle. Both women were loading
their shopping carts with high-quality cat food.
How many times does that happen to us in life. We no sooner
come to a decision or conclusion about what is happening
around us but what we are suddenly faced with it being
something completely different.
This is one of the traps in life we must learn from. We take
information in by way of the senses and filter it
through all our former experiences to come up with a
conclusion about what's happening.
We have to learn that the senses feed us the right information
but our minds can put the wrong spin on the information.
What we must all learn, as absolute fact, is that our minds
can only give back to us what we have already experienced.
So when a new experience comes along we must learn it.
To further complicate the interpretation we have our emotions
which "color" the spin we put on the information. And so we
may fear, love, hate, be joyful. While these things might be
good we must always be on our guard that we are putting
the right "spin" on the facts.
That is one of the reasons why I like jumping in to uncharted
waters as often as I can. It enriches the soul, is exciting and
gives us so much broader a knowledge it can, in right
circumstances, add up to wisdom.
Always remember that "uncharted waters" are only
uncharted for you. There is nothing in earth that is new to
or for man. Some man or men have gone through or done
everything there is to do. Over the centuries these things
have happened thousands of times.
So fear not the unknown. It is always a learning experience
rich in new lessons, new benefits, new truths, new wisdom.
Take up the challenge, preferring it to the channel you
are now in.
Richness of character and knowledge comes from having
more experience than those around you. That comes only
from being unafraid to tackle your "unknown".
So the next time you see, hear, smell, touch or taste
something, don't leap to conclusions too quickly. Savor
what the senses are telling you. I can guarantee you there
is no danger. Your automatic mechanism will take care,
completely, of any danger. So enjoy the new experience,
coming not to a conclusion until the experience tells
you what it is.

Bioburden: How Much Is Too Much
How Many Bugs (Micro-organisms) Create A Problem

Common groups of disease causing micro-organisms
include bacteria, viruses, and fungi. (This group also
includes protozoa, but we don’t hear too much about
these. Nevertheless, they do raise a lot of concern
from time to time.) Please remember that bioburden
contents are positive as well as negative. There are
some bacteria that we need to help us digest food.
Normally they are in our gut and don’t do any harm.
It’s their normal habitat. Problems start when they
leave their designated area and move into another
“home” and start to grow. Now they are labeled unwanted
or harmful. What is important is that NO harmful
micro-organisms should be in these unwanted areas. In
some cases, even a few might prove to be damaging,
depending on many things.
As we usually associate the term “bioburden” with
disease-causing micro-organisms (pathogens/bugs), we
need to have some way of measuring potentials harm or
any possible damage. Eventually this knowledge is used
to eliminate their “supportive environment” or at least
make is as unfriendly as possible.
The pathogens are instinctively in survival mode. So it
doesn’t take them too long to find a way to resist the
power of some antibiotics. Our culture and lifestyle
have created a huge demand for antibiotic coverage when
it maybe not needed. We now face situations where some
micro-organisms are very resistant to many kill methods
via antibiotics. Combinations of these drugs often have
to be administered. One good example is “Methicillin
Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus” or commonly known as
“MRSA”. What this really means is that an infection
caused by the bacterium called “Staphylococcus Aureus”
does not respond to the antibiotic called Methicillin.
This bacterium has already found a way to protect
itself and stay alive in the presence of this
antibiotic. That is mutation! And that is discovered
when the bioburden of bacteria is high and should be
reduced by such a strong antibiotic, yet the microbes
continue to thrive.

I do not understand how some people think. The crime of
child trafficking is on the increase.
Police in Europe just smashed a child trafficking ring
involving over 100 children. These kids were apparently
"sold" to a criminal ring by their parents in Bulgaria.
From there the kids were trained to be pickpockets and
trained to steal. Young girls were especially wanted so they
could be sold into the sex trade.
These kids were taken all over Europe and up into the U.K.
As bad as this is child trafficking is on the increase the
world over. It seems that money is more important to people
than their own children. Indeed some young people are having
kids for this single purpose, to sell them.
It is nothing short of amazing that the world thinks it can
get away with this kind of behavior. Do people not see the
law "As ye sow, so shall ye reap."?
It would appear churches have failed us terribly. If the
churches teachings were true and were believed by the
people then this kind of thing would not happen. Clearly the
people do not believe the church. In a sort of backhanded
way, the church can be thought to be responsible. Think on
this; if the message of the church is not believed then it
must be perceived the church exists, itself, for the purpose
of making money. If the church presents a false front and is
seen by the people to be phony, then it promotes that kind
of activity in the people.
I know you think me crazy. All I am saying is there is
always a first cause and the selling of children so one can
make money crosses all the boundaries of decency known to
man. And the more this happens the worse the condition
becomes, it grows.
Are we our brother's keeper? You may be able to do nothing
directly to stop this, yet you must serve as an example who
has a real communication with your Maker, and this you must
show the world. Your example must pull others into the fold
that the force for good, without guns, can be predominant in
this world.
