Life Can Be Black And White!

A six-year-old comes crying to his mother because his
little sister pulled his hair.
"Don't be angry," the mother says, "Your little sister
doesn't realize that pulling hair hurts."
A short while later, there's more crying, and the mother
goes to investigate.
This time the sister is bawling and her brother says;
"Now she knows."
Can't you just picture it? If it were my kids I'd likely
be upset with the little monster, at least that would
probably be my immediate reaction.
A little later, though, I would look at it and come up
with the decision the young man likely did his
sister a favor. You see, life is like that.
Life is neither good or bad except your thinking
makes it so. If you touch a hot stove you get burnt,
cut yourself with a knife you will bleed, write a
check on a bank account in which there is no
money and it will bounce. Life is like that.
We all have to learn that lesson. It doesn't matter
if we like it. It doesn't matter if it affects us in way
we don't like. We must simply recognize life is
matter of fact. It is.
My wife often gets mad with me because I look
at the world as what she calls "black and white,
no grey". She likes to think there are some in
betweens. Me, I know very well that if you do
this, that will happen. That is just the way life is.
After learning that I then decided that if I did not
want a certain reaction then I had better not take
a certain action. It all comes back to "what goes
around, comes around". It is the ageless law of
our Maker "As ye give, so shall it be given
unto you."
Some of you reading this may take the position
of my wife. You have not yet had the full realization
or understand completely the full impact of the law.
That is whey so many kids, without discipline, get
into trouble. When parents don't draw the lines
the child knows not where to go, gets lost, and in
doing what he/she wants rather than be guided
by family rules, ends up doing things wrong. The
parents are personally and exclusively responsible,
but will still ask "Why?". No guidance, no direction - -
you get what is thrown back at you. Give guidance
and direction and the child knows the way and will
always be grateful. It is real simple. Lead the child
in the ways he must go or you will pay the price.
The law works in every situation, at all times and
in spite of our ignorance of it. Life is like that.
The most enriching time of life is when you realize
this law and begin to use it to your advantage.
You can truly create the exact life you want for
yourself and your family simply by understanding
this law and putting it to work for you. Failing to put
it to work means it will work against you, for your
actions will be based on ignorance. Know the law
and use it to create the world you want.

To Be Vaccinated Or
Not To Be Vaccinated ...

So the allergy would be to the individual components of
the vaccine: not the virus itself. It is in small amounts in
one of the preparations, but again, it's a possible problem.
Also if you have had a severe allergic reaction or anaphylaxis
to a previous dose of a virus, don't be vaccinated. Anaphylaxis
is a very "severe hyper-sensitivity reaction to a previously
encountered antigen" (intruder/foreign matter). This would
create an emergency situation. This is the reason you are
asked to stay at the clinic site for twenty minutes after the
injection. This condition, should it occur, will most likely
happen during that time. Some people have what we call
a "vasovagal" reaction. This happens to people who are
sensitive to needles or are often anxious. It appears quite
closely on the heels of the injection. Lying down and resting
will be best treatment. This is not a life-threatening situation.
For a couple of years, I ended up with a gentleman whose
doctor wanted me to give him the vaccination and we KNEW
he would almost always faint. So the second year, I gave
him the injection while he was already on the floor! I don't
encourage that, but it served this purpose. When you are
in some unusual situations, you have to rise to the occasion!
(Or lower yourself as may be the case!) Consent form . . . You
will be asked to sign a consent form. Read and understand
the risk and benefits of the flu immunization. We need this
information for our records.

Eloise Henry, age 18 when the story began, and
David Wylie, age 20, were selected, by a
stranger in town, to take a dangerous trip, together.
The idea was that each was to take only the clothes
on their back, and go anywhere in the world where
the stranger took them. They were to be left there
to find their own way home. They had no money,
no identification, and no idea where they were.
Upon their safe return there was a million dollars
waiting in their bank account for them. If one did not
make it that money would go to the survivor. If neither
made it the money would go to their families.
The story deals with their adventures along the way
and leads into the only way they could survive. That was
for Eloise to learn higher law and commit her life to
that end. Along the way she learns how to perform
many a miracle.
The story leads to many friends, many adventures

Bob sauntered down to the river, looking for David.
The kids were having their daily game of ball. They
were yelling, laughing, and having a good time. One
kicked the ball toward Bob, and he kicked it back, to
which the kids cheered.
Bob spotted David down at the canoes. He walked
down to see him.
"What are you so engrossed in David?" he asked.
"Oh! Hi, Bob. Good morning. I was wondering when
we were going to see you. Have a good sleep?" David
responded.
"Sure did. I don't know what you did to that bed, but I
never slept so good in all my life. Lynn too. She slept
better than ever, and that is saying something." Bob
answered
"Well it probably had something to do with the big day
you had yesterday. It was pretty tiring." said David.
"Well, maybe, but that doesn't account for how
comfortable the bed was." said Bob.
"Today you were going to tell me whether you wanted
to go home or not. Have you done any thinking about
that?" asked David.
"Not one bit, to tell you the truth. We enjoyed ourselves
last night. I don't mind telling you that both you and
Boolanga started giving me some things to think about,
and yesterday, I would have argued with you. I am not
so inclined today. I don't know if that means I'm learning
or if it only means I am slowly absorbing." Bob was
musing.
"I think it was some of both, Bob. You know if I have a
dollar and I give it to you then you have a dollar and I
don't. But, if I have an idea I share with you then we are
both the richer. I have the idea and so do you." replied
David.
"That's true. That's true. I never thought of it that way. So
that does not mean I must do anything with the idea, it
just means I have it." Bob was catching on.
"That is exactly right. What one does with any idea is his
exclusive responsibility. But in the sharing many are
made the richer." said David.
"When you came down here you were wondering what
I was doing. I wasn't doing much. I was just thinking about
how nice it was to have you and Lynn down here. Now
you can see some of the things we were telling you. No
need for money, right? And see how laid back the lifestyle
is here. People spend their whole lives here, some never
being more than a few hundred feet past the village. There
is no need to go elsewhere. I think that is one of the reasons
Pam likes it here, and I am thankful for that. I think this is a
wonderful place to raise kids. Just look at them. Do you
ever seem kids doing that kind of thing in Pinehill? Not
much, I think." David went on.
"You are right David. If I had any doubts yesterday, they
are gone today. I will bet you Lynn feels the same way. I'll
further bet you she is not so keen on going home today.
Can we stay a while?" Bob asked.
"Certainly. You can stay as long as you want and I will
take you home when you ask. Pam would love it if you
would stay. She missed you two a lot." David replied.
"I know. The truth is we missed her. What a mess I made
of things. I am so sorry. I am glad, David, that she married
you. I am glad you now live by this 'higher law'. I am glad
we had a chance to come here and see where you live. I
think I'm learning a lot." said Bob.
"I guess it's lunch time. Pam just called me." said David
turning to start for home.
"I didn't hear anything!" said Bob.
"No, Bob, you wouldn't. All Pam needs do to call me is
hold a picture of me in her mind and call me, within her
mind. I will get the message right away. She knows, too,
we are on our way. Why don't you go over there and grab
your grandson and we'll go for a bite." David said as he
pointed to little Maz in the ball game.
Bob walked right into the ball game. He kicked the ball
a couple times, but got puffed out real fast. "Maz, it's time
for lunch son. Come with Grandpa."
Without a word Maz came over and took Bob's hand and
the pair of them joined David walking up the hill into
the village.

I slipped up yesterday. I don't do that often, but it
happens. Yesterday was the 44th anniversary for
my wife and I. We enjoyed it and especially one
another. Life sure does get better if you have the
fortitude and stamina to get through all the rough
spots in life, together.
That is why I missed this spot yesterday. That is
